American Lit. for Nov. 16-20

Here's the plan for the coming week:

• • We will finish Of Mice and Men early in the week. Expect to complete chapter four on Monday and chapters five and six on Tuesday. After finishing our reading, we will complete several activities to wrap up the book, including analysis of the book as an example of Naturalistic fiction and connecting it to a poem that inspired its theme.

  • We will also complete a variety of activities during the week that are meant to help us further prepare for the Milestone EOC, which counts as your final exam--and 20% of your grade.

  • Speaking of Milestones, the test will be given during class time on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, December 1, 2, and 3.
