The Crucible

Last week we completed research related to the New England Puritans, The Crucible, and its author, Arthur Miller before starting to read and discuss the play on Friday. We will continue our reading, viewing, and discussion of the play this week, focusing especially on tone and how its shifts throughout various scenes of the play. We will also analyze how Miller uses figurative language to achieve specific effects with his writing.

Here is a link to the text of the play in case you need it. I am also posting the journal topics for the play, as well as the questions for acts one and two of the play in case anyone needs them.
