Honors Brit. Lit. for March 7-11

Here's a quick look at what we will be doing this week:

• • We will continue to discuss Renaissance poetry this week, with the focus shifting to students as they teach their assigned poems to the class on Tuesday through Friday.

  • We will also set up literature circle groups early in the week, with your group working out its reading schedule, within the parameters I provide you. Groups will meet for discussion for the first time next Tuesday, March 15.

  • We will also begin reading, analysis, discussion, and viewing of Hamlet this week. Please be sure to get your books from me if you ordered one and have not paid for it yet.

  • If you are revising your Beowulf essays, please turn them in no later than Tuesday night. This will be the absolute deadline.

  • Expect our next out-of-class paper--a narrative born out of our discussion of Renaissance literature--to be assigned no later than the start of next week.
