(MANILA, PHILIPPINES) – Cagayan De Oro’s Wacky Go Lucky Teen, Maymay Entrata was declared The Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother Season 7, (the longest running edition of the franchise reality TV show aired at ABS-CBN for about eight months) last Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Alonte Sports Arena in Binan Laguna. Coincidentally, the night she won, was also the birthday of her grandma Ludy. She won One Million Peso cash prize, a house and lot unit from Camella Homes, an Asian Tour Package, among others.
Fellow teeners Kisses Delavin, Yong Muhajil, and Edward Barber were named 2nd, 3rd and 4th Big Placers respectively (bringing home 500,000, 300,000 and 200,000 pesos individually and respectively).
Last Saturday, March 4th, Tanner Mata, Hashtags Mccoy de Leon and Nikko Natividad (2-in-1 contestants) and Cora Waddell were declared 5th, 6th and 7th Big Placer Winners, respectively (each won 100,000 pesos).
Almost all of them are being predicted to do well in acting after a performance workshop that culminated in a Live Drama Presentation yielded favorable feedback from seasoned Director Rory Quintos.
The Big Place Winners were determined via public votes. This last edition drew huge ratings and it wouldn’t be any surprise if news go out one of these days that plans are in the works for the next Pinoy Big Brother.
One note though: during the rolling credits it was observed that the show’s Multimedia Head – Online is Kris Aquino (isn’t she the same host of GMA-7’s newest travel show, “Trip ni Kris?”).
