2011 Miss World-Canada at the BAY AREA FASHION WEEK tonight
Half-Filipina Riza Santos, the reigning Miss World-Canada arrived last Sunday at the San Francisco Airport (many thanks to Ben Acorda of Heavenly Ice Cream for welcoming/ picking her up) and was checked in at Marriott Downtown San Jose (thanks to the Perkins Family & again, Ben Acorda for the hotel accommodation).
She will walk the runway of Bay Area Fashion Week tonight, Saturday 8PMat the San Jose State University’s Barret Ballroom, together with 6 other beauty queens and about 60 plus models, 50 plus Designers (with their 700 plus collections). It’s touted to be the biggest fashion show San Jose has ever seen, so watch it! Call (925) 389-1382 for your $45 or $60 VIP ticket reservation now.
Riza will compete further in London on November 6, 2011 for the Miss World title against delegates from 107 countries. If she wins, she will be the first winner coming from both the Philippines & Canada. Current winner is the United States’ Alexandria Mills.
