VENUS RAJ TO EMCEE

BB PILIPINAS USA

TO-BE SEEN IN THE CITY

(LOS ANGELES, CA) – The search is now ongoing for the very first ever Binibining Pilpinas USA Titlist!

No less than 2010 Miss Universe 4th Runner Up Venus Raj was tapped to host of this year's Binibining Pilipinas USA Beauty Pageant produced by Insider Productions.

As part of the pageant activities, in a very rare opportunity, all candidates will be coached and trained here in the US, by the now legendary beauty queen maker – Jonas Gaffud, President/CEO of Mercator Artist and Model Management Inc. based in Makati City. He is the Pageant Coach, Consultant and Manager of 2012 Miss Universe 1st Runner Up Janine Tugonon, 2011 Miss Universe 3rd runner up Shamcey Supsup and 2010 Miss Universe 4th Runner Up Venus Raj. Also, talks are loud that well known mainstream celebrities (the ones you can read in People Magazine) are being lined up to seat in the judges’ chairs.

Aside from the main title Bb Pilipinas USA (who will be given the chance to compete in the national level pageant in Manila in 2014), another honor at stake is the 1st Runner Up who will be awarded the title of Bb Pilipinas Tourism. The dream job of being the Goodwill Ambassador for Philippine Department of Tourism, she will participate in the GO NOW NEXT GEN tour (remember, there’s more fun in the Philippines!).

In addition to the honor and prestige inherent to a ‘Binibini’ crown, generous prizes await the winners. Porsche of Downtown Los Angeles, Viva Entertainment, LA 18 KSCI-TV, Philippine Department of Tourism, Beauty Guru Monet Lu, Gandhi Skin Care, among others, are just some of the early proud sponsors and supporters of Binibining Pilipinas USA 2013.

Incidentally, an interesting ‘Bb Pilipinas-Universe’ back story published by GlobalBeauties.com indicated that during the Miss Universe pageant held in Greece in 1973, one of the judges, a famous bullfighter that goes by the tag name "El Cordobes" did not have Miss Philippines Margarita Moran’s name in his initial list of favorites. That was until he heard Margarita speaking perfect spanish! The Spanish judge amazed to see an Asian woman speaking fluent spanish, suddenly moved Miss Philippines’ name up to first place in his list! Miss Philippines eventually won the Miss Universe crown that year – the country’s 2nd (after Gloria Diaz’s which she won in Miami, FL).

You can continue our country’s winning streak. If you are a natural born female between the ages of 17 and 25, at least 1/4 Filipino descent, at least 5' 5" in height, of good moral character and at least a US lawful permanent resident, you can be the one they’re looking for!

Since he is the leader of the operation, Edward takes full responsibility of the tragedy. Because of what happened, the lover of the victim, Ricardo (Neil Ryan) vows to make life difficult for Edward.

While contemplating on leaving the service, Edward's wife gets kidnapped.
