Joseph Domingo Couture Rocks SNOW

SEEN IN THE CITY

(SAN FRANCISCO) –Joseph S. Domingo brought the house down when the Fil Am Couture Fashion Designer unveiled his latest collection during the 4th Snow A White Fashion Event 2013 held downtown last Saturday night, January 26, 2013. It was the hottest ticket in town as the event was a total sell-out and streams of white-garbed audiences conspicuously visible walking and crossing the main streets all lead to the venue around 6:00 PM.

The show promptly started at 7:00 PM with Cari Borja’s Men’s & Women’s Wear in the “Rose Snow” segment. It was followed by Jake for Artful Gentleman Men’s & Women’s Bespoke in “Chess”. The 3rd segment presented Julie Schindler Women’s Wear in “Bonnie & Clyde” and then followed by Cana Klebanoff Men’s & Women’s Wear in “Depth Perception”.

The 5th segment presented Charmose by Neide Hall Women’s Swimwear in “Silver Ice” but the fitting finale was reserved for Joseph Domingo’s Couture “Ice Princess” where all his six (6) very tall signature models (Liana Neparidze, Kasey Hollifield, Amber Harris, Lindy Castro, Jossalyn Nelson & Alexandra Drechsler) paraded in silvery white make up (probably inspired by the movie Narnia’s Ice Queen) with their hair in buns. Stand out is 2013 Miss Teen San Jose Alexandra Drechsler who anchored the segment and walked the walk she learned last September from extensive catwalk trainings in the Philippines.

Audiences partied with the Designers and models after the show at the adjacent Zero Zero Bar SF.

The SNOW 4 A White Fashion Event 2013 was presented by SFBA Fashion Networkk and was sponsored by Acqua Panna, S. Pellegrino, Perrier, Mer Soleil Silver, Belle Glos Pinot Noir, Zero Zero Bar, Barlata Tapas Bar, Ducroix Restaurant, Cowden Automotive, among others.

Star Cinema’s grandest Valentine movie offering to hit cinemas nationwide on February 13...

COCO AND JULIA STAR IN THEIR FIRST MOVIE "A MOMENT IN TIME"

Philippine showbiz’s phenomenal love team Coco Martin and Julia Montes are both excited with the release of their first ever big screen team-up in the much-awaited Valentine movie offering from Star Cinema and Dreamscape Production, "A Moment In Time,” which will be shown on cinemas nationwide on February 13 (Wednesday).

"Siyempre pagkatapos namin sa 'Walang Hanggan' excited akong makasama ulit si Julia and this time hindi naman sa soap kundi sa pelikula na," said Coco. "Lalo akong na-excite nung kinuwento sakin 'yung istorya. Hindi siya isang ordinaryong project, mayroon siyang twist sa dulo."

"A Moment In Time," according to Julia, is a special treat to their fans who have unfailingly supported their love team. "Ako din mismo ang nae-excite sa magiging reaksyon ng fans sa first movie namin. Kasi after 'Walang Hanggan' may inaabangan 'yung mga tao, parang naku-curious sila kung may part two ba 'yung kwento nina Daniel at Katerina," Julia related. "Pero ibang experience sa aming dalawa itong 'A Moment In Time' kasi ibang-iba 'yung characters namin dito sa movie at talagang aabangan ng mga tao."

Unlike in "Walang Hanggan" where they both shared intense and serious scenes, “A Moment In Time” will show the lighter and more romantic side of Coco and Julia as they portray the characters of Patrick (Coco) and Jilian (Julia). "Sa 'Walang Hanggan' may kilig moments din naman pero serious na serious ang atake," said Coco. "Yung kilig scenes dito sa 'A Moment In Time' ay siguradong ikasisiya talaga ng viewers. Karamihan kasi ng pelikulang ginagawa ko umiiyak sila, this time, lalabas naman sila ng mg sinehan na nakangiti, in-love at inspired."

"Kung noon intense ang roles namin, dito sobrang light. At 'yun ang maganda sa 'A Moment In Time' kasi ibang-iba siya. Sa movie, makikita ng lahat 'yung fun side ni Coco. Sinisiguro naming ibang Coco at Julia ang makakasama nila ngayong Valentine's month," Julia added.

Shot in Amsterdam and other key cities in Paris, "A Moment In Time" shares the romantic and emotional journey of Patrick and Jillian, who both sought for true love and tried hard to hold on to it. But just when they thought that there’s happily ever after, they would discover that something could always shatter a seemingly perfect fairytale. Does everyone get that second chance to recreate that moment when you found your one true love?

Under the direction of Emmanuel Palo, also featured in "A Moment In Time" are ZsaZsa Padilla, Cherry Gil, Ella Cruz, and Gabby Concepcion.

Don’t miss the first-ever big screen project of Coco and Julia, "A Moment In Time," to hit cinemas nationwide on February 13, 2013.

BE CAREFUL WITH MY HEART" CONQUERS NOONTIME TV RATINGS, DOMINATES TWITTER PH

ABS-CBN's hit romantic-comedy TV series "Be Careful With My Heart" is taking the country by storm as it continues to capture the hearts of noontime viewers nationwide as proven by its latest all-time-high national TV ratings of 31.3%.

Based on the data from Kantar Media last Friday (January 25), the Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap-starrer ruled the its new timeslot and trashed its rival noontime show in GMA, which only got 14.8%, or almost 16 points lower than the national TV ratings garnered by the well-loved Kapamilya kilig-serye.

Aside from the ratings game, "Be Careful With My Heart" also conquered the list of Twitter's nationwide trending topics because of last Friday's much-talked-about episode, where Sir Chief (Richard) traveled to San Nicolas and serenaded Maya (Jodi) through the romantic ballad "Sorry Na, Pwede Ba?" The scenes were such a hit among TV viewers that Twitter Philippines was ruled by topics related to the show including Sir Chief, Maya, #mayaforgivesirchief, and #sirchiefnationalharanaday.

If a simple serenade already turned loyal viewers crazier about the show, can the fans handle the 'kilig' when Sir Chief decides to win back Maya, especially now that she has already resigned as Abby's (Mutya Orquia) yaya?

Continue to follow the country's newest noontime habit, "Be Careful With My Heart," everyday, 11:45am, before "It's Showtime" on ABS-CBN's Prime-Tanghali. Also, don't miss "Be Careful With My Heart Sabado Rewind" every Saturday, 10:30 am, before "It's Showtime."

“GOIN BULILIT” CELEBRATES 8TH ANNIVERSARY

Former bulilit graduates who have now made a name for themselves in the showbiz industry will visit “Goin’ Bulilit” to celebrate the longest-running gag show’s 8th anniversary. This February, watch out for Julia Montes, Kathryn Bernardo, Ella Cruz, Miles Ocampo, and many more who will join the current bulilit kids in the segments “Ang Corny”, “Sigaw Family” and “Ooh Eww”. The old and new kids will take turns in delivering their sure hit punch lines. According to Sherwin Buenvenida, head writer of the gag show, part of what made the show run for eight years is the format. “It’s comparable to Saturday Night Live where the cast is constantly changing. We also try to infuse current events and issues to our segments and gags,” he said.

Ricky Victoria, creative manager of the show, also added that when kids deliver jokes, it’s much more fun and lively. Meanwhile, to kick off the celebration, a new segment will be added in “Goin’ Bulilit” titled “Cute and A” where the kids interview celebrities and personalities. MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino will be this week’s guest.

Also included in the episode this Sunday are their “Record Bar” gags, musical titled “Basta Alam Ko Lang” and segments “Ang Corny”, “Akalain Mo Nga Naman”, and “Ooh Eww”. Join the anniversary riot on “Goin’ Bulilit” this Sunday (February 3) after “TV Patrol Weekend” on ABS-CBN.
