TOGETHER AGAIN

(IN CACHE CREEK CASINO)

SEEN IN THE CITY:

(BROOKS, CA) – Star Circle Quest Grand Winner, Erich Gonzales and Pinoy Big Brother Grand Winner Daniel Matsunaga brought audiences to laughter and tears as they perform together as one with “Star in a Million” Almost Winner, Sheryn Regis at the Cache Creek Casino’s Club 88 last February 17 & 18, 2017 – Friday and Saturday, respectively.

To recap, before their San Francisco trip, the former lovers publicly exchanged not so nice words after their break up went public, with each side denying third party nor money as the cause. Vanessa Matsunaga though, requested for Erich to clear up the money issue, which elicited a ‘will tell all’ response from Erich.

Up until the day before the show, no announcement was ever published about the Cache Creek Casino event, pending their mutual talks that happened in Manila and set up by their managers. Will their Cache Creek show push through or not? Will they be arriving in separate planes? Will the show be postponed to a later date, pending their reconciliation?

Their joint arrival in one plane was most awaited as they promoted their shows Thursday night at Edna’s Ichiban in Daly City, where they were videotaped and photographed, posted all over social media, in happy and talking moods. Daniel was even observed serving Erich some Filipino food.

Reports have it that the Friday day night show went well, despite Highway 16 leading to the casino were closed in the afternoon due to flash flooding brought by the storm. Social media photos posted of the event generated talks of possible reconciliation.

During the Saturday night show, Daniel Matsunaga declared to the audience that “Erich and I are in good terms now.” Suddenly, reconciliation talks are in the air. At least by the social media netizens.

Despite all the challenges, the Cache Creek show (at least the Saturday and final one) was deemed entertaining – as #DanRich did not disappoint, eliciting enough “kilig’ moments for their adoring followers as Erich sing her woos away in “Love Yourself,” “Titanium,’ among others. Daniel was funny to the max with punchlines, mostly in Tagalog, tickling the funny bones of predominantly elderly women.

It seems that all is well and everything is headed to a joyful reconciliation. Until stories circulated after the show that Daniel went back to Manila right away while Erich remained in the states with relatives, roaming around Laguna Beach in Southern California.

Thursday morning though, their mutual make-up artist friend, RB Changco, sent a statement from the two, quoted in an article written by Bernie Franco, as published in www.pep.ph, to wit:

Together with Star Magic, Erich and Daniel have arranged and settled things peacefully. Both are now starting to move on separate from each other’s lives.

What happened in the US is a request from the producers of their show and to give appreciation for those who have supported them.”

Conclusion: The two have decided to ‘move on’ with their lives. Separately. For now.

For making this show a reality and a success, Congratulations to Joann Jose De Leon, Promoter and Ben and Edna Ramos of Edna’s Ichiban, Producers! More Power!

Dingdong Dantes to host GMA Network’s crime documentary drama Case Solved

This February, GMA Network introduces its newest procedural crime documentary drama program CaseSolved.

The show aims to deliver awareness and public information to the viewers in order to prevent crime.

Case Solved features sensational and controversial real-life cases ranging from non-aggressive to violent circumstances derived from Philippines’ Supreme Court Reports Annotated (SCRA) handled by the country’s National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), Philippine National Police (PNP), International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), judicial agencies like the Department of Justice (DOJ), Supreme Court and Bureau of Corrections. More than presenting how the crime is committed, it further explains how the crime is solved.
