Marie Chazel 'Che' Masiddo, RN of Brentwood, CA took her oath as a Registered Nurse at the Philippine Consulate in downtown San Francisco with Deputy Consul General Fred Santos presiding. She is a graduate of at Quezon City's Our Lady of Fatima and was unable to attend her oathtaking at SMX Convention Center in Manila.

Bobby Santos, a Fil-Am resident of Westlake, is the first in line at Apple Stonestown Galleria for iPad 2...he's been inn line since 3:00am last Friday morning. The thinner and lighter iPad 2 has become more in demand with the presence of 2 front and back cameras. Online orders are 3-4 weeks backlogged, according to reports from Apple. The first iPad has reported sold 15 Million units and still counting!

ABS-CBN, Top 25 in FaceBook “LIKE”s

(The only Philippine multimedia company in Top 25 most “liked” media companies worldwide)

More than a million online users have already liked ABS-CBN’s page on Facebook, making it the only Philippine multimedia company in the top 25 list of most "liked" media companies on the famous social networking site.

ABS-CBN joins the biggest names in the global media scene in the top 25 list including YouTube, Google, CNN, HBO, Cartoon Network, Fox News, ESPN, Nickelodeon, among others. ABS-CBN's cable music channel MYX also made it to list with 1.1 million people who have "liked" it.

According to the Facebook statistics portal Social Bakers (www.socialbakers.com), the country’s largest media conglomerate ABS-CBN ranked 25th among media companies worldwide that have the most number of likes on Facebook. ABS-CBN followed after The New York Times, which placed 24.

As of 8 Feb 2011, there are 1,037,960 users who already liked the page of the ABS-CBN, way ahead compared to other local TV network’s Facebook pages.

The statistical report indicates that Filipinos from different parts of the globe are receiving the freshest news and updates about ABS-CBN brightest stars, top-rating programs, and sought-after services.

Based on data from ABS-CBN Interactive, there are at least 306,466 total users who actively participate by sharing posted links on the page and commenting on topics found at the discussion board.
