(MANILA, PHILIPPINES) – GMA Network held a press conference last Tuesday, February 2, 2017 at their 17th Floor Executive Lounge in Kamuning, Quezon City, to launch their newest TV offering, ‘FULL HOUSE TONIGHT’ starring Asia’s Songbird, Regine Velasquez together with Kapuso stars Solenn Heussaff, teen idols Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix, versatile actor Joross Gamboa, comedians Philip Lazaro, Kim Ido, Terry Gian, Sarah Pagcaliwagan, Tammy Brown and Nar Cabico.
“I am very excited and very thankful that GMA has given me this kind of show because I miss doing this variety type of show. I was given total freedom to choose my songs,” the multi-awarded artist said during the Tuesday press conference.
One of the very rare network-fluid actors today (he moves with ease, from one network affiliation to another and back again) Joross Gamboa says he is equally excited of this new TV show. When prodded further for his secret in working with different stations, he answered that his secret is simple – there is no secret, there is no formula. Just be easy to work with and give more than they ask for, on and off the screen. He credits his Manager Noel Ferrer for the easy flow of work coming from different networks. My ‘Star Circle Quest’ workshops helped me a lot in building a very strong foundation in acting in different genres.
Meanwhile, the Loveteam with a Heart, “BiGuel,” expects to do live comedy and live singing, in addition to their usual fare – dancing, in this new show. “Most people know that we (Bianca and I) both love to dance. In this new show, we are acting alongside full time comedians. We had workshops with them on how to execute and deliver the skits,” declares Miguel Tanfelix.
Asked further on their edge as a loveteam, the pair says “We aim to be good examples and good role models especially to the young ones, showing them what’s right and what’s not right. For example, we both have advocacies for the youth. I am the Young Ambassadress for Education wherein I personally we encourage the youth to study hard and continue reading,” adds Bianca Umali.
Directed by Louie Ignacio, this musical-comedy show is sure to brighten up your Saturday nights, only on GMA, right after “Magpakailanman.”

GMA Network brightens up Saturday nights with Full House Tonight
Beginning February 18, Saturday nights are bound to get outrageously and hilariously better as GMA Network launches its newest comedy-musical show, Full House Tonight, top billed by no other than Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez-Alcasid.
Regine said she is ecstatic to be hosting a comedy-musical show, but more so on performing and singing on the small screen again.
