HOLY ANGEL CLASS REUNION. The Holy Angel Academy (now University), High School Class of 1965 - that calls itself "ka-vibes" held a U S A-Canada 44th reunion on October 10, 2009 at Excalibur Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada. The reunion included with a dinner-dance, comedy skits and karaoke singing of sixties popular ditties.

Organizers and officers, Alberto "Vice" Viceral- President, Dean "Ding" Maniti- Vice/President, Hideliza "Dolly" Tumang-Tuason- Secretary, Roland "Bay" Rojas- Treasurer, and Araceli "Ressie" Ocampo-Nepomuceno- PRO, received kudos for making it a successful and enjoyable event for everyone. The next class reunion "HAU65 Ka-Vibes 45th Year" will be held on October 10, 2010 in Angeles City, Pampanga, Philippines.

Belated Happy Birthday, Mrs. Agoo 2009 - Jocelyn Tabora of San Jose. She had fun celebrating her win last Saturday, as she prepares to travel to Agoo, La Union to receive her crown.

Last Tuesday night, October 27th, 2009, a major press conference was held in aSouth San Francisco restaurant to announce the launch here in the US of the Boy Abunda-headlined reality TV series "SHOW ME YOUR TALENT". The US round of auditions are being conducted by Mr. Anchet Manosca and his Silverscreen Productions, where a $25,000.00 top prize is at stake. More details are to be announced later.

‘STARSTRUCK V’ Auditions Now Here!

GMA 7’s Ramond Gutierrez (of Showbiz Central) and Rosalinda’s Carla Abellana will reportedly fly in from Manila to head the STARSTRUCK V talent auditions, scheduled inSan Francisco on November 7 and 8, 2009, according to their US-based PR person, Jush Andowitt. Starstuck is GMA 7’s reality-based TV show that gave us Mark Herras,Jennelyn Mercado, Mike Tan, Rich Asuncion, Paulo Avelino, Aljur Abrenica, Kris Bernal, among others.

Inspired by recent auditions (namely, TFC’s ‘One Kapamilya Go’ Pinoy Big Brother auditions held in Santa Clara’s CA Great America Theme Park, which produced the now famous young Tom Cruise look-alike and touted as the next Sam Milby - Tom Mott of Arizona and the Greek God-bodied Hermes Bautista of San Diego) held here in the US where a great harvest of talent yielded the headhunters, GMA-7 is hoping for the same if not better results.

PERSONAL NOTES

Belated Happy Birthday to 2009 Mrs. Agoo, Jocelyn Tabora who celebrated with family and friends at their palatial house in San Jose . Food and drinks with 5 lechons overflowed the festivities held last Saturday afternoon until the wee hours of Sunday.

Jocelyn will be flying to her husband Matt’s hometown in Agoo so she can receive her crown and enjoy her coronation.
