This week, learners have been exploring new Phase 3 sounds and revising all the sounds we have learnt.
longer words
They have been using their phonics knowledge to write short sentences and looking at starting a sentence with a capital letter, using a fingerspace between words and ending the sentence with a full stop.
This week, the learners have been enjoying using the shared area to try their hand at doing their own drawing club!
It has been great to see them explore the area independently and use skills learnt in the classroom in a different context.
The learners have been using space-themed story stones to create their own imaginative stories.
They have loved choosing characters and settings, then applying their writing skills by writing a short sentence to match their ideas.
The learners also drew beautiful pictures to bring their stories to life, showing fantastic creativity and growing confidence in their writing.
This week, our learners adventured out to the Cultural Hall to watch a performance of, 'Charlie Cook's Favourite Book'.
Our learners showed bravery as they tackled riding in a bus for the first time with school.
They sat beautifully and we are very proud of them!!!
On Sunday, Year 3 will be selling handmade chocolate truffles at the Learner Entrance as part of their latest enquiry-based learning topic. There will be four exciting flavours to choose from!

ما تم دراسته الأسبوع الماضي | What was learned
Last week, our little learners explored basic body parts, focusing on names such as: eye, nose, ear, mouth, hands, and feet. We engaged in fun learning and movement activities to reinforce body part knowledge, and we sang the Five Senses Song together to promote fun and interactive learning
ما سيتعلمه الأطفال الأسبوع القادم | What Children Will Learn
االأسبوع القادم، سيتعلم أطفالنا الأعزاء عن الحواس الخمس، وسنركز أيضًا على تعلّم العدد 3 من خلال أنشطة تعليمية ممتعة وتفاعلية.
Next week, our little learners will explore the five senses, and we will also focus on learning the number 3 through fun and interactive activities.
We are pleased to inform you that a dedicated email address has now been created for reporting learner absences. Please use attendance@nadeenschool.com to notify the school if your child will be absent on the day. All of the absence correspondence should as always go through the form tutor. This will help us ensure accurate attendance records and streamline communication. Thank you for your cooperation.
We will begin phasing the purchasing of food from the canteen into Primary from Wednesday, 14th October, starting with Year 6 learners. To support the smooth operation of this process, learner cards will be kept in school and given to students at lunchtime to make purchases.
Please note: learners can only purchase food if they have a card.
If you would like your child to buy lunch from the canteen, you will need to purchase a learner card. Instructions for how to purchase the card can be found spare APP.
Please ensure there is sufficient money loaded onto the card to allow your child to buy food. You can use the SPARE app to top up the card, view what your child has eaten, and purchase meals in advance.
We are aiming to introduce this system to Year 4 and Year 5 learners after the half-term break. We need this time to carefully organise the process so that we can maximise efficiency and ensure a smooth experience for all learners.
We thank you for your patience and understanding during this introductory phase.
