The Extent to which the Third Party Benefits from Contractual Rights

Abstract- The third party is the strange from the contract concluded between two parties, or among parties. The main legal rule governing the effects or third parties is the rule of the relative privity of the contract, according to which the effects of the contract are restricted only to the contracting parties, and do not affect third parties. It is worth-bearing in mind that the third party can benefit from contractual rights either indirectly or directly. The indirect benefit may be realized by converting contracting parties into third parties, whereas the direct benefit can be materialized by giving third parties a direct action against one of the contracting parties, or by stipulation for another.
