Abstract- This presentation aims to introduce Actor-Network Theory as a complementary tool of analysis of translation products and processes in the socio-technical context, along with other sociological approaches to translation. ANT is effective in making translation researches more objective and analytical. It disentangles translation researchers and scholars from viewing translation as one-level representative production or process; instead, any specific translation is regarded as a specific network drown between involved actors (i.e., humans and nonhumans).
