Bilateral Filters for De-noising Noisy Images

Lecturer Dr. Hawkar Qasim Birdawod in Business Administration department has held a seminar entitled “Bilateral filters for de-noising noisy images” which conducted on May/9/2019 at 12:00 PM in the department of Business Administration. The main aim behind the concept is to state that noisy images are one of the problems which are dealt with by too many authors. Reducing noise in other words denoising is the most important objective of dealing with image processing. The bilateral filter is one of the methods used widely. The amount of noise removed using this method was not as needed, so they advised and used wavelet filtering after the bilateral method. This was a promising change in denoising images. It could be regarded as a change step in the denoising process.
