Assistant lecturer Dr. Fatemeh Tavakkoli at the department of Community Health gave a seminar entitled: Human limbus-derived stromal/epithelial stem cells to treat cornea pathology (a transcriptomic study) on 02- May-2020 at 12:00 PM in online Hangout Meeting: The evolution of cell-based therapies has played a very crucial role in corneal pathology treatments. Stem cells in the limbus have proven to be the magic potion for eye treatment. Epithelial and stromal stem cells in the limbal region of cornea hold the responsibility of replenishing the corneal epithelium and maintaining transparency.
