Abstract- Heavy metals contamination is not only a hazard to living organisms but also an important worldwide environmental concern. Experiments were performed to investigate the removal effect and study the mechanisms of two different types of carbon-based nanoparticles (as a synthetic and natural treated nanoparticles) to compare the effectiveness of heavy metals removal of both types from contaminated soil and waste water which collected from Egypt and Jordan. The production feasibility, the availability, and the effective parameters of the experiments will determine the best candidate as a low cast effective heavy metal removal from soil and waste water.
