The Legal Aspects of Contractual Terms and Conditions included in the Chinese-Iraqi Export Credit Insurance Cooperation Framework Agreement

Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Salahuddin Ali at the Department of International Relations gave a seminar entitled “The Legal Aspects of Contractual Terms and Conditions included in the Chinese-Iraqi Export Credit Insurance Cooperation Framework Agreement” on 18th Feb 2021 at 1:30 PM. The seminar focused on the Chinese-Iraqi Export Credit Insurance Cooperation Agreement concluded between Iraq and PRC contains a lot of conditions and terms, but the most important of which are the Contractual Terms and Conditions in the. This seminar is aimed at spotlighting and investigating the legal aspects of some of the terms and condition contained in this framework agreement. These terms are: the applicable law determination term, the arbitration term, and the obligation of the confidentiality term. It is also worth-bearing in mind that some these conditions and terms are abusive and arbitrary.
