Assist. Prof. Dr.Muhsin Hmeadi Ubeid at the department of General Biology gave a seminar entitled “Tissue Processing for light Microscopy ” on 28th April 2020 from 04:00 PM to 05:00 PM through an online conference (Hangout meet).

The purpose of this seminar is to provide fundamental information on basic techniques involved in histology including microscopy and staining procedures. This technique has greatly increased the ability to define cell categories for observation under a microscope. Chemical and physical procedures are used to maintain and preserve tissue structure and tissue stiffness, which helps cut thin parts of the required tissue. This information will be very helpful in studying histological and pathological tissues.
