Food Labeling: Traffic Light Nutritional Labelling

Abstract- Food labeling is the primary means of communication between the producer and seller on one hand, and the purchaser and consumer on other. Labeling food will help consumers what they are purchasing or eating. Food labeling should provide clear and accurate information to the consumer and must not be ambiguous or misleading consumers.

Food labeling is regulated by law and nutritional facts as a part of mandatory requiems are often too small or confusing.

The Food Standard Agency/ UK introduced the traffic light labeling system to make it easier for everyone to make healthier food choices and improve public health.
