Dr. Younis Salahuddin Mohammed, law department, presented a seminar entitled (The role of law in protecting the environment from pandemic corona virus COVID-19), in Wednesday 22/4/2020, at 3:00 pm, online, he clarify the importance of law in protecting the environment from pandemic corona virus COVID-19 disseminating rapidly world-wide. the effects of this pandemic on environment are classified into two types: positive and negative. the positive effects are indirect, whereas the negative are direct. four types of laws can be applied to achieve this protection: 1- Civil law. 2-Criminal law 3-protection and improvement of environment law and 4-National integrity Law.
