Chemoprevention of Colonic Aberrant Crypt Foci by Schiff Based Zinc (II) Complex in Azoxymethane-induced Colorectal Cancer in Rodents

Professor Mahmood Ameen Abdulla at the Department of General Biology gave a seminar entitled “Chemoprevention of Colonic Aberrant Crypt Foci by Schiff Based Zinc (II) Complex in Azoxymethane-induced Colorectal Cancer in Rodents” on 6th April 2021at 10:00 AM. The seminar focused on the potential of Schiff base compounds to act as sources for the development of cancer chemotherapeutic agents, this in vivo study was performed to investigate the inhibitory properties of the synthetic Schiff base compound Zinc (II) on colonic aberrant crypt foci (ACF).
