The Legal Effects of the Internal Will on the Contract

Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Salahuddin Ali at the Department of Law gave a seminar entitled “The Legal Effects of the Internal Will on the Contract” on 3rd Feb 2021 at 1:30 PM. The seminar focused on the internal will which is considered as the real will or intention to contract. And this seminar will spotlight the effects of the real will on many contractual aspects, that is to say, the definition of the contract, because the obvious influence of the Islamic jurisprudence on the Iraqi civil law. Although the Iraqi civil law adopted the doctrine of the real will in the interpretation of the contract and the theory of the transformation of the contract. It is also worth-bearing in mind that the seminar has taken into consideration the effects of the real will on both the basic elements of the contract and the vices of consent.
