SAFETY IN EXCAVATION WORKS

Abstract- In a day and age where people still get injured on the job, you would think safety would be a banner held high by everyone, but unfortunately it isn't. Money and apathy seem to be the two leading reasons why safety sometimes takes the back seat. The importance of workplace safety can't be stressed enough. We've listed 7 reasons why putting safety in the driver's seat is a winning proposition for everybody. There are obvious reasons why workplace safety should be our priority including:1. Injury - There were 4,679 workers killed on the job in 2014 according to OSHA. 2. Death - There were almost 3 million recorded injuries during that same period.

Along with the above-mentioned pain, suffering, and death, there is a financial impact. "
