The goal of this exercise is to isolate your hip rotation to generate hip-shoulder separation. Start with your rear arm at shoulder level and in your stride position. Explosively rotate your hips making sure your chest does not rotate. You should feel tension through your right pec to “anchor” your chest back. Your scap will be forced into retraction with the arm elevated in pitching position.
