This tee work is focused on recognizing the three phases of the swing (i.e. “load, stride, and then swing”). Setup in your normal stance relative to the plate with the tee positioned out in front of the plate in accordance with the target (left center, center, or right center). First, cue yourself to load. Verify that the load is consistent with an active hip hinge. Next, cue a stride, out to your normal stride length. Lastly, swing, making sure to fire the hips first and hit the ball to the target.
