Start by lying on your back with your knees bent, and your arms in a “goalpost” position. Retract and depress your scapulae, and keep your hands and wrists flat against the floor. Slowly slide your hands overhead while thinking about pressing gently into the floor with the forearms. Move only to the point of discomfort. The anterior shoulder will release and range of motion will increase.
