The goal of this activity is to resist rotation of the upper half while setting a stable back side and purposeful lead leg block. Start facing the “catcher” in the batter’s box. Hop toward the “pitcher” onto lead leg. As the lead leg hits the ground explode into a twist onto rear leg and purposefully block with your lead leg. Move into a shotput as described in the reps, delivering the medicine ball toward the target with as much intent as possible.
