This activity focuses primarily on your lead leg block. The idea is to develop a powerful block that encourages lead leg stability and knee extension velocity. Start with your feet slightly greater than shoulder-width apart. Hold the prescribed med ball with both hands on either side. Begin the movement by performing a stepback, then position the med ball up over your right shoulder and complete a “slide step” pitching motion. Slam the med ball to the ground out in front of your lead foot and extend your knee quickly.
