The plumbers came Monday to install the toilet. But they had forgotten to install a water tap for the Washlet toilet seat. This required cutting a hole in the study wall (behind the toilet, see left), tapping into the sink water supply, running a tube down behind the (wall-hung) toilet) and getting the water pipe through the glass tile. Well, one tile broke, so it will be replaced tomorrow. (See right. The new copper pipe is being held down with blue tape in preparation for holding it permanently with spray foam.)In preparation, we moved the washer, dryer, toilet bowl, toilet seat, and sink out of the garage, leaving a lot of room for work-space.
Randy came to measure the remaining ductwork that connects the furnace to the supply and return ducts already installed in the house. He did not know about the duct needed for the garage, but that one is a very simple triangular duct eight feet high.
