Walls with primer are not very photogenic, so you won't see a picture today. But the kitchen and living rooms are now primed. I had hoped for more, but Nicanor seems to have contracted a stomach flu that is going around, so he was absent all week. These primed walls have little 'pookles' as we called them in Germany. Not sure of the source, but because we filtered the paint, I suspect the roller covers, which the crew calls 'nap'. They are not all that frequent, but still…
Lalo got more tiles laid in the shower floor. He still has the edge to complete, and that is relatively slow as it requires cutting the tiles on the diagonal. He estimates being finished on Monday. The main floor in the bathroom should be easier, as there is no diagonal cutting required.
Jake and Ulisses finished mudding the walls of the study and bedroom. Tomorrow I’ll sand them using strong light that just grazes the surface, which shows imperfections well. Then if there are any flaws after sanding, I mark them with a soft pencil, and the guys can fix them Monday. Since we haven’t picked a color for these two rooms we will probably paint the kitchen and living rooms before we prime the bed and study. The ceilings all get the same color, so we can start there.
