I got tired of waiting for a contractor. Purchased the compressor, inside (ducted) coil, and tubing required for connecting the two. Fortunately the delivery driver was willing to drop the pallet just below the final location.

I removed the coil from the cabinet
Eager to get started, I removed the coil from the cabinet to discard the unused drip tray. (This coil can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. When used to cool, humidity can condense on the coil and drip.)
Next I had to get the heat pump onto the roof. The compressor weighs 250 pounds, over my limit. So I hired a crane to do the heavy lifting.
If the crane were located in the road, the operator would need to lift through tree foliage, and would not be able to see the drop location. So we used my neighboring vacant lot.

Compressor in final location, with Lana helping.
Connect the wiring. My electrician will help. One more part to arrive today.
Get the coil cabinet inserted into the ductwork. The local sheet metal man has agreed to do this.
Connect refrigeration tubing and charge with 410 refrigerant. I will hire an HVAC expert for this.
Test it all.
