So, what will this house look like?
I spent Friday making a cardboard model of the house.
There are two approaches to the house.
This is the view from the street (north side). The garage is directly off the street (no driveway - see site plan, below). To the left of the garage door you see the mud room windows. The entry door is under the portal roof, with windows onto the living room (Sala). The smallest window (facing west - right) is from the bedroom.
Here is a view from the southeast, as one would approach from the path from the Common House or the neighbors:
The bulge on the right is the shower. The near corner is the study. The indented part is the living room (french doors) and kitchen (smaller windows). The bulge on the left is the garage.
On the roof you can see the small mechanical room.
Here is the site plan to give you some reference:
The road is a loop, and encloses all 28 lots of Valverde Commons.
My lot is #21 the barely-visible red dot in the upper left of the satellite map. The first view of the model is from that road and the barn (yellow wrench icon) across the road. Not shown on the site plan is the path that runs between my lot #21 and lot #18, going down the lower right to the 5-acre garden space in the middle of the loop of houses. Across the road from my lot is the shared barn and workspace. The Common House is on the right of the subdivision plan, where you see the yellow fork and knife. At this time the house to my south (down in the site plan) is framed. Lot #18 has not been sold yet.
