Of the nearly 8 billion people in this world, mostly all fail to believe that we were created to become elohim. The concept is simply too far beyond this physical reality to even contemplate. Yet Yahushua (Himself a created being) set His example before us and told us straight out that this is exactly what we are to become.

The mistake that Mainstream Christianity (MC) teaches is that Yahushua always existed with the Father since infinity. This, of course, is yet one more boldfaced lie that MC teaches. At some point in time (perhaps many millennia before the creation) the Son was “begotten”. In other words he was born/created. The opening book of scriptures tells us in the 2^nd chapter that we were created in the image of Yahuwah. So was Yahushua. We are no different in this regard than Yahushua. The Scriptures also tell us that Yahushua was the “only begotten Son”. In other words, He was the only one that Yahuwah created. As John later clarifies, it was then the Son who created everything else.

John 1: 1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.

2 - The same was in the beginning with Elohim.

3 - All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

4 - In him was life; and the life was the light of men

The common error most in MC make is their definition of the phrase “in the beginning”. At the same time, they readily agree that the Father has no beginning. Therefore, “the beginning” John is talking about has nothing to do with the Father’s beginning; but rather, the beginning of His creation, which was the birth/creation of his only begotten Son.

The Son had, by that point, already proven Himself to the Father. He was already one with the Father, as he prayed for us to be (Jn. 17). The MC tries to elevate Yahushua to a status that is beyond any man to achieve. This is totally untrue. And those believing this lie, naturally will never even attempt to achieve it. It must not be so with us, my friends; we are to believe Yahuwah, not men.

John 10:33 - The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; and because that you, being a man, make yourself Elohim.

34 - Yahushua answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, You are elohim?

35 - If he called them elohim, unto whom the word of Elohim came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

36 - Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, You blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of Elohim?

37 - If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

38 - But if I do, though you believe not me, believe the works: that you may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Yahushua laid the truth out before His accusers in language a child could understand, but, because of their spiritual ignorance, they could not comprehend what He was saying. By that time, the Jews had long abandoned the teachings of Yahuwah for their own misguided interpretations of the Torah. They believed that because they were unanimous in their beliefs, that they must be true. That is the way most new converts regard MC. The sad reality is that the number of people believing in anything does not make that lie into the truth. A lie is a lie and nothing ever changes that.

Meanwhile, these Rabbis already thought themselves to be gods, with full authority to change the laws – much like the Catholic Church afterword. Such authority did not come from Yahuwah, but from men. This is true blaspheme, not Yahushua declaring Himself Elohim (which He was).

Yahushua also demonstrated by His works that He was of the Father. No man ever did the works that He did. Yet, the Rabbis and priests were all so spiritually blind that they just could not comprehend the concept. Instead they condemned Him for saying the exact same thing His Father said in Ps. 82. Afterwards, a large number of the priests did believe and become True Believers. But if not for His works, no one would have believed Him. The same is true with us, my friends, it is by our works, not our words, that anyone believes or disbelieves us. People want to SEE Elohim when they see us. Seeing is believing! It is one of the most important senses we have. The people saw Elohim in Yahushua because of His works, and believed Him. People must also see Elohim in us before they will believe we are truly of Him.

34-36. Is it not written in your law--in Psalms 82:6 , respecting judges or magistrates?

Ye are gods--being the official representatives and commissioned agents of God.

“but there is also a contrast between Himself and all merely human representatives of God--the one "sanctified by the Father and sent into the world"; the other, "to whom the word of God (merely) came," which is expressly designed to prevent His being massed up with them as only one of many human officials of God.”

Of course, this is the mindset of all MC denominations. They believe that we will never attain to true equality with the Father. And, because of their disbelief, they never will see this reality. They place their (pagan) traditions before the word of Yahuwah and always will.

MC believes this phrase to apply to us only in regards to judges and magistrates. And, certainly, judges and magistrates should be of the most righteous character. But with what we know of such positions today, there is plenty of room for corruption.

Ps. 82:6 - I have said, you are elohim; and all of you are children of the Most High.

7 - But you shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

Since the Garden of Eden, man has believed the report of HaSatan over Yahuwah; that we are already elohim. Nothing can be further from the truth. Naturally, believing this lie, no one is even going to strive to become elohim. Yahuwah’s words are as simple as they seem. There is no need to “intellectualize” them. We must not attempt to translate His word into something else that satisfies our physical perception. That will always fail to bring the desired result. Simply put, we cannot change the word of Yahuwah to suit ourselves. His words will always stand, whereas, ours will always fail.

If we believe men over Yahuwah, we will “die like men” who have no hope of attaining eternal life. We will simply turn to dust and never again have a conscious thought – ever. It will be the absolute, unquestionable end to our existence. We will fall like all the great princes who believed they were already elohim and received their (only) reward during their lifetimes. They have only eternal death awaiting them. Let it not be so with us!

Conclusion

The grand delusion that HaSatan has deceived all men into believing is that we are already elohim. A champion does not become a champion until he actually wins the championship. We too, must compete and win the championship, if we wish to become champions. Like any athlete, we must train intensively while picturing the finish line before us. Focusing on the end result is what carries the athlete through all that comes before the victory. And so, we must remain focused of that spiritual finish line as well.

We are not yet elohim. We are merely in training to become elohim. Adam knew this fact before he took that fatal bite of the forbidden fruit. Many contend that Eve was deceived but Adam was not – but willingly ate merely so Eve would not be taken from him and left on his own. Therefore Adam willingly disobeyed Yahuwah. Following Adam’s folly, the entire human race believed the lie, also. And, thus, they were all condemned to eternal death.

Yes, we were created in the image of Elohim; and, therefore, are elohim. But as with the caterpillar that turns into a beautiful butterfly, we await our change from the physical to the spiritual. If we believe we are already fully elohim, we will not be striving for and attaining this reward. We will fail just like all the rest before us.

We have one prime duty before Yahuwah, and that is to become ONE with Him. Everything else will follow naturally in its righteous order behind this one achievement. I often hear a lot of bickering, even amongst True Believers, over some doctrinal issue that is totally irrelevant to attaining eternal life. NOTHING ELSE should matter to us.

We were created to become elohim; and we will become elohim if we follow the words of Yahuwah and not the words of men. Men lie, Yahuwah does not. That is all we have to remember.
