The Natural War against Yahuwah

The Natural War against Yahuwah

Ever since the temptation of Adam and Eve, the nature of man has been enmity against the Creator, Yahuwah. In believing he is “already Elohim” man viewed Yahuwah as a formidable opponent. Yahuwah knew this would happen and planned ahead for it, creating a way to gain salvation by overcoming this vital human flaw.

The only way to escape this prison our human condition finds us in, is to put off our human nature and put on the nature of Yahuwah. How can we know what the nature of Yahuwah is? Yahushua, the Son of Yahuwah modelled the Father’s nature perfectly for us. His is the ONLY example we are to model ourselves after, not the minister of our church, not an admired member of our community, nor any man on the face of the earth. He is our only, true High Priest and the only model we are to look to. No man can offer anyone salvation. It is ONLY by Yahushua that salvation is even possible. No man besides Yahushua knows all things. We are all in need of further education.

Most of us are parents and know full well what it feels like when our children disappointment us. Imagine how Yahuwah feels when pretty much His entire family rejects Him and His plan for our salvation.

Yahuwah tried repeatedly to turn man back to Him, but mostly all ended the same way – in disobedience. He raised up a number of great men and prophets in an effort to turn man back towards Him. Finally, He raised up a nation (Israel) to be an example to the world, and even though it started up with great zeal and success, it eventually withered into apostacy. So, He sent His Only Begotten Son, thinking they would surely listen to Him. But, for the most part, they did not, and put His Son to death.

However, Yahushua’s death served only to strengthen the movement. The movement roared to life and for the first couple of centuries and seemed like it was going to overtake the world. That fact scared the Roman authorities but none of the Roman emperors were successful in stamping them out. That is until Emperor Constantine came along. Perhaps this was the birth of the theory that “if you can’t beat them, join them”. However, Constantine’s reason’s for joining the movement had nothing to do with conversion. It had more to do with dominating and controlling that system of faith.

Beginning with Noah, Yahuwah sought to correct the course of humanity. He wiped out all that was corruptible on the earth by a global flood. However, corruption eventually raised its ugly head on account of one of Noah’s sons.

Gen. 9:20 - Now Noah started off as a farmer, and he planted a vineyard.

21 - When he drank of the wine, he became intoxicated, and he uncovered himself inside his tent.

22 - Ham, the father of Caʹnaan, saw his father’s nakedness, and he told his two brothers outside.

23 - So Shem and Jaʹpheth took a garment and put it upon both their shoulders and walked in backward. Thus they covered their father’s nakedness while their faces were turned away, and they did not see their father’s nakedness.

24 - When Noah woke up from his wine and learned what his youngest son had done to him,

25 - he said:“Cursed be Caʹnaan.+

Let him become the lowest slave to his brothers.”+

26 - And he added:

“Praised be Yahuwah, the Elohim of Shem,

And let Caʹnaan become a slave to him.+

27 - Let Elohim grant ample space to Jaʹpheth,

And let him reside in the tents of Shem.

Let Caʹnaan become a slave to him also.”

As we know, one of the latter descendants of Canaan, Nimrod, created the first pagan religion, known as Mystery Babylon. In no time at all, the majority of the earth’s population was following this false religion. Man preferred the lies of HaSatan to the truth of Yahuwah. Many believe that the Tower of Babel incident put his religion in the grave; however, it only spawned a host of worldly religions that were all based on the original model. And, indeed, all religions on Earth today are based on this model in one form or another. How are we to recognize false religions? By their doctrine!

Of course, Yahuwah sent numerous prophets to correct this obstinate behavior, but all were put to death. And the behavior continued.

Isa. 55:8 - “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,+

And your ways are not my ways,” declares Yahuwah.

9 - “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

So my ways are higher than your ways

And my thoughts than your thoughts

Indeed, man’s thoughts are not Yahuwah’s thoughts. Instead, man strives to make their thoughts Yahuwh’s thoughts by twisting and changing His thoughts to align with our way of thinking. That must not be our way of thinking. We must allow scripture to interpret scripture, laying all preconceived theology aside. We have been brainwashed almost all our lives. Laying aside all the misinformation we have learned is a monumental task.

Moshe (Moses) was the next “larger than life” scriptural figure. He was commissioned with leading the children of Israel out of Egypt (the world) and creating a nation devoted to Yahuwah. However, the Adversary (HaSatan) was quick to move in and tempt Israel. Almost as soon as they escaped Egypt, they began murmuring and complaining against their Saviour. Within 3 months, they built a golden calf to worship in place of Yahuwah. Through numerous trials, rebellions and punishments, Israel continued to demonstrate disobedience against Yahuwah; and eventually Yahuwah had enough and sent them again into captivity.

Even though Judah returned to their former estate following 70 years of imprisonment, by the time Yahushua arrived, they were once again in a state of apostacy. They say that history repeats itself. Well, the nation of Israel is a prime example of that fact.

Finally, Yahuwah sent His only begotten Son, with all the authority of the Father, to be the ultimate example and sacrifice for sin. Instead of listening to and following His example, the Jews had Him crucified. It was not until He was resurrected from death and appeared to His followers did anyone fully believe in Him, even His apostles.

Acts: 1:1 - In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Yahushua began to do and to teach

2 - until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen.

3 - After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of Elohim.

4 - On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about.

5 - For John baptized with water, but in a few days, you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

As far as the world was concerned, a resurrected Messiah was a ridiculous claim. Up until that point, no one had risen from the grave. Yet, the movement gained enough momentum to gain the attention of the Roman rulers. The official state religion of Rome, by the time of Constantine, was Mithraism. Prior to Constantine, Mithraic priests had often infiltrated the congregations of True Believers, sowing the seeds of heresy. In 324 AD, Constantine made two decrees that identified him as the Antichrist of Daniel’s prophesy – he “changed the laws and the times”. He first decreed that no Roman citizen was to keep the customs and traditions of the Jews. He next decreed that no Roman citizen was to keep the weekly or annual sabbaths of the Jews. He then created a clever counterfeit for his empire (Christianity), outlawing all other forms of worship. And, to escape religious persecution, the world happily converted. But in doing so, putting obedience to Constantine before Yahuwah, they made Constantine the “god” that they worshipped. This makes the Christian religion the religion of the Antichrist.

In the Book of Revelation (Chapter 2;1 – 3:22) the Angel addresses the 7 churches. The most significant message to them concerned overcoming – the world and all deception. Mostly all had allowed heresy to creep into their assemblies and were in danger of falling short of the glory of Elohim.

This message, or warning, has been the call of Yahuwah to his children since man was put on the earth. And man’s response has been the same throughout history – “no thanks”. No amount of punishment has proven effective. We ask for and receive miracles and still transgress His laws. Our very nature demands such a response.

Are things going to be different for future generations? Again, not according to the Book of Revelation. Just as the plagues of Egypt did not deter the Egyptians, neither will the plagues of Revelation deter the end-time generation. Man continues to believe HaSatan’s lie that we are already Elohim and see no reason to change. And HaSatan is ever there to encourage that belief.

In the Last Days, it is going to seem as if HaSatan is the successor. But he is anything but. Unrighteousness cannot succeed against righteousness – not in the long run, at least. But, even in the Kingdom, He will have to erase all memory of our past so that we have nothing to envy and long for concerning our former generation. We will no longer remember what unrighteousness is, as only righteousness will abound.

Conclusion

In the end, it will not be man who changes his nature but Yahuwah. Yet man is expected to at least try to change his nature. If the will is truly there, Yahuwah will oblige us with that change. The question is, “do we really want the change?” Or are we going to be like Lot’s wife, looking back on the past with a desire to return?

In making ourselves into the righteous image of Yahuwah, we must desire to be as He is – pure righteousness. That may seem like a tall order but that is exactly what Yahuwah expects of us and what we are to be tirelessly working towards. The main aspect of righteousness is love. That is love towards one another and love towards Yahuwah and His Son. Love conquers all. Love begets righteousness. If we love with righteous love, everything else will fall naturally into place.

Here re a few more verses that attest to the importance of seeking righteousness.

Prov. 21:3 - To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahuwah than sacrifice.

2 Tim. 3:16 - All Scripture is given by inspiration of Elohim, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

1 Jn. 2:29 - If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.

2 Tim. 2:22 - Flee also youthful lusts but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on Yahuwah out of a pure heart.

Rev. 19: 7-8 - ‘Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready.’ And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

Can there be any doubt what it is that Yahuwah desires of us? Is becoming what Yahuwah desires us to be not what we signed up for? We must do whatever it takes and lay aside anything that hinders that goal.

At the same time, our biggest obstacle will be our own nature. It will always be there coaxing us to return. We must “do it not”.

Yahuwah Bless
