Do We Believe Yahuwah?

Do We Believe Yahuwah?

The first mistake man ever made was believing HaSatan over Yahuwah. HaSatan taught that we were already elohim and that we did not have to wait on Yahuwah for salvation. Man readily believed HaSatan because he spoke “smooth” words that stroked man’s ego and paved the road for man completely going his own way apart from Yahuwah.

Today we live in a world that is totally clueless as far as knowing the will of Yahuwah – in fact, the majority of the world either do not believe he exists or worship pagan gods. And, as far as believing Elohim, they still don’t.

HaSatan’s deception goes well beyond the mind and changed man’s nature as well. And, that nature is enmity against Yahuwah. HaSatan kidnapped his willing victims and made them his own children; and that is what we find the world full of today, the children of HaSatan. These are the ones that the true followers of Yahushua are at (spiritual) war against; and they are truly a massive and formidable obstacle.

True Believers are still plagued by their own carnal nature, which in a constant state of warfare with the righteous spirit that Yahuwah placed in each of us. One nature pulls us in one direction while the other pulls us in the opposite direction. Temptation is always with us till the day we die. Denying this fact leads some to believe that they are already guaranteed salvation. They think they have it “made in the shade” and simply lie down and wait. These are the lazy, slothful servants spoken of in the scriptures; and none of us can ever afford the luxury of laying down on the job. We are to be fully armed and ready for spiritual warfare at all times if we wish to win this great spiritual battle.

One question we should all ask ourselves is, “When did the Apostles reach a state of spiritual perfecting?” Was it not upon their deaths? Was that not the final trial – the proof of their belief and faith? I do not believe that any of us are spiritually perfect; at least, not when we compare ourselves to Yahushua (which we all should be doing) or any of the other scriptural greats. Such being the case, we must never lie down and assume we have already achieved spiritual perfecting. If Yahushua, himself, could not avoid this final test, who are we to think that we can avoid it. Is this not the carnal mind at work in us and not Yahuwah’s righteous spirit?

We are to be much more than the “bobbing heads” we see filling the Christian assemblies. We are to be found actively pursuing the same “oneness” with the Father that Yahushua enjoyed and cherished. The Apostle, John, recorded Yahushua’s final prayer in John 17, where he mentions this oneness that we are to be seeking three times;

John 17:11 - And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, keep through your own name those whom you have given me, that they may be one, as we are.

We do know that the Father and Son shared a unique relationship that set Yahushua apart from all the rest of creation. If we wish to be separated from the rest of creation, we must seek after this same oneness (relationship). Even if we never fully achieve it, this remains our ultimate and all essential goal. Once achieved, the thought to sin should no longer reside in us. Like the Father, we will be incapable of lying or contemplating anything sinful. Can anyone claim such a state of perfecting at this moment? If not, we had better roll up our sleeves and get busy.

21 - That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that you have sent me.

Why did Yahushua stress this one point as being all important? I believe that our very first duty as servants of Elohim is to strive to achieve this state. Everything else will follow naturally (or should I say spiritually). It is (I believe) the key to giving life to Yahuwah spirit dwelling in us and allowing it to grow and fill our entire being. Yahushua makes a prophetic statement in John 14;

John 14: 12 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

Do we see this happening anywhere today? Are we doing greater works than Yahushua did? If not, why not? What are we doing wrong? It is not seeking this oneness with Yahuwah first and foremost?

The last statement in Jn. 17:21 tells us why we are to seek this oneness with Yahuwah first - “that the world may believe that you have sent me”. Would anyone have believed Yahushua if he did not demonstrate the power of this oneness before the world? Why, most did not believe Him anyway.

22 - And the glory which you gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

What was the glory that Yahuwah gave Yahushua, which Yahushua, in turn, gave to His followers? It was the seed from which such oneness springs – Yahuwah’s righteous spirit. We need this seed before we can even begin this journey. And our first duty before Yahuwah is to nurture this spirit and allow it to grow and fill our entire being. We are not to be like mainstream Christians seeking to ride into the Kingdom on the coattails of some charismatic, lying Christian minister. We have only one, true High Priest and King – Yahushua HaMashiyack who is perfect and incorruptible. What need do we have for another corruptible human high priest?

This brings us right back to the original question of this study - do we believe Yahuwah? Adam and Eve did not; nor have very many humans afterword. We are to fully believe every word that comes from Yahuwah, all His laws and statutes, all His prophesies and all of His warnings.

Gen. 3:4 - And the serpent said unto the woman, You shall not surely die:

5 - For Elohim does know that in the day you eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you shall be as elohim, knowing good and evil.

The first thing HaSatan did was sow the seed of doubt in Eve’s mind. His insinuation was that Yahuwah had lied to them and that they would not “surely die” if they ate the forbidden fruit. And, of course, she did not immediately die (like Eve may have supposed) and so, Eve believed HaSatan. His were the words she cherished and esteemed more truthful over Yahuwah’s. She may have then ran to Adam saying “See, I ate the fruit and did not die. Yahuwah lied to us and the serpent told the truth. We are already elohim.”

Is this not also similar to the lie that Mainstream Christianity teaches their followers; that they entered the Kingdom immediately upon baptism and the receipt of the “Holy Spirit” – that they do not have to do a thing to “earn” their salvation? In effect, they were already elohim! The thought that Mainstream Christianity in any way represents elohim-like qualities is a scary thought indeed. Believing that they are already elohim has led to complacency in seeking the full power of elohim. That power should be available to all Yahuwah’s true followers as well, but I would certainly come up short in proclaiming that any of us are doing greater works than Yahushua did. Why is this? Because we are not truly seeking this oneness with every fibre of our being. We are getting caught up in useless arguments over matters of doctrine, some from Yahuwah and many invented by the Christian churches over the years – or, we are transferring our feelings of our own inadequacies onto Yahuwah?

If we believe Yahuwah, we are to follow precisely in the footsteps of Yahushua. We are to become one with the Father as He was. Yahuwah continually tests us in this regard. If we believe Yahuwah, we follow His instructions to the letter. If we do not believe Him we end up inventing our own doctrine that leads us away from Yahuwah, not towards Him. Yahuwah righteous spirit will never lead us away from Yahuwah. It cannot lie! It is incapable of corruption! It can only lead us towards Yahuwah and His Kingdom.

The greatest tribute to the glory of Yahuwah is to take on Yahuwah righteous spirit and nurture it until it fully indwells us. Even the remotest speck of disbelief is enough to keep us from achieving this conclusion. Any doubt left harboring inside of us will be enough to disqualify us from the Kingdom. Therefore, the first thing we need to do is dispel all such doubt. We must empty our minds of all the corrupt teachings of the past and focus on Yahuwah’s word alone; and believe every word with all your hearts, minds and souls.

Yahuwah’s word is the only source of truth. There is no need to seek another. Yahuwah has ensured that everyone can readily and freely receive His words; in spite of earlier attempts by the RCC to keep it from us. Yahuwah’s words will never fail, but man’s almost always does. So why would anyone in their right minds listen to any human teaching a different gospel? How can anyone believe that the righteous spirit of Yahuwah is already fully indwelling them if they are not doing greater works as Yahushua promised we would? The answer is quite simple; we are obviously not adhering fully to Yahuwah’s words.

No one instantly “knows” the mind of Yahuwah at baptism. That is something that takes time and diligent study. At baptism, we receive only the “seed” of the knowledge of Yahuwah – the key to opening His mind up to us. Some take this key and hide it and treasure it, but never seek to use it. Some lose it along the way. Some misplace it for a while but then find it again. We all have a unique and personal journey. No one is going to gain our salvation for us. HaSatan thinks he did, and the world obviously believes he did too.

We were no different from the rest of the world we began this journey. And, if not for the great mercy of Yahuwah, we would remain so today. I certainly have no idea why Yahuwah called me out of the world; and I am sure we all wonder the same thing.

None deserve such a calling. And none would seek it if it were not for Yahuwah’s righteous spirit guiding and encouraging us. We can claim no credit for that. What we can claim credit for is that we BELIEVED Yahuwah. That is only the first step. The second is to follow every word. This requires action. Unleashing the spirit of righteousness in us requires much prayer, meditation and study. It may help to paint a picture in our minds of already being in the Kingdom, being full spirit beings and creating life on our own world. Picture ourselves in Yahushua place, right alongside the Almighty Creator of all life, with His arm around our shoulders, proudly proclaiming “This is my son/daughter in whom I am well pleased.” Don’t we dearly long to hear such positive praise?

The only one capable of stealing this picture from us is ourselves. HaSatan cannot force us to believe him. We have the right to choose, but do not always choose rightly. We can only choose rightly following careful examination of all of HaSatan’s deceptions along side of Yahuwah true word.

Such oneness is a state of mind, not any physical state. No one merely looking at us sees it radiating out of us. The only way it reveals itself is by our works. When our works become greater than the works Yahushua did, then we can have confidence in our spiritual state. Until they do, we can only be assured that we yet have more work to do in perfecting that oneness with Yahuwah.

I pray that we all find this oneness and the great glory that awaits us.

Yahuwah Bless

G.P.
