Making Mud Balls

Making Mud Balls

Who didn’t make mud balls or pies when they were children? Almost no one! Well, this week I was reading an article by Harold Smith, using a mud ball as an analogy of becoming one with the Father. It may seem a little simplistic but I think it is right on.

Here is the quote:

The word translated as the English "cleave" in this verse comes from the Hebrew word devaq which, from the Paleo-Hebrew pictograph these letters represent, present a picture of two sticky mud balls smacked together so as to form one seamless mud ball

So, what has a mud ball to do with becoming one with the Father? Well when working with mud or clay to form something (a person or object), we strive for total perfection. We end up with a perfectly formed likeness of that person or object, devoid of any clues as to where you started or finished – no seams. No imperfections. Well, folks, this is exactly how Yahuwah is trying to mold us - perfect and flawless. While we are yet an unfinished work, there is plenty of potential, if we work with the Father, rather than against Him. We must not be merely a lump of mud avoiding or refusing to be moulded.

You may recall the information in the NT about the garment Yahushua was wearing the day of His crucifixion. It was seamless and flawless. It represented the exact same thing as the mud ball, a perfect union of the Father with His people (Israel) which is what we all are. There must be no visible seems or flaws in our relationship to the Father. We must be seen as one, as in the case of the Only Begotten Son, Yahushua. We must desire that relationship over everything else and strive with all earnestness to achieve it.

Our walk with Yahuwah is a slippery slope and not all will make it to the top of the mountain, but many will. Those who do make it to the top will be those whose oneness with the Father is so complete that one cannot tell the difference. This was the way it was/is with Yahushua. He and His Father were so perfectly joined together most could not tell the Father from the Son. So should it be with us. This sounds like an incredibly difficult task to accomplish; but, if we never start, we will accomplish nothing. We will just be wasting our time pursuing trivial matters that have no salvational value whatsoever.

This is exactly what I witnessed while in the mainstream Christian churches. All show and pomp with no spiritual substance at all! Let our prime doctrine be about becoming one with the Father and Yahushua. Leave all other doctrines at the door. How many churches do you know of that have made one or another doctrine the focal point of their message while totally ignoring this one all-vital point? The answer is likely, “All of them.” And, that would be correct.

While I feel really bad for such individuals, they have had the same opportunities that we have had to pursue all truth, but instead have chosen the lie (just like Adam did). And, whenever I try to point out this fact to such individuals, it goes right over their heads. They simply do not wish to leave their comfort zones and assume a path they consider too difficult to accomplish. Well, if one never tries, one will never succeed. It’s as simple as that.

The following website lists 40 references that pertain to achieving oneness with the Father. I do not agree with all forty representing that oneness, but I have picked out the ones I feel do apply.

https://bible.knowing-jesus.com/topics/Union-With-Christ,-Nature-Of

Isaiah 54:5-8

"For your husband is your Maker, Whose name is Yahuwah of hosts; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the Elohim of all the earth.”For Yahuwah has called you, like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, Even like a wife of one's youth when she is rejected," Says your Elohim. "For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great compassion I will gather you.

This verse can be linked to the following one.

Jeremiah 31:32

not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them," declares Yahuwah.

The problem with the Old Testament is that it did not allow for redemption as the Son had not yet come to pay the penalty for our sins. They attempted to do their best to obey every word of Yahuwah and knew that when the redeemer did come, their sins would be absolved and they would gain eternal life. In a way, they were becoming one with the Father as well, but without the proof of His mercy, which only became evident when the Son rose from the grave.

Yahuwah made the same legally binding contract with Israel that a man makes with his wife. Each promises to be faithful. However, faithfulness is only a word to most. And, just look at where that has brought us. There are not too many these days whose marriages endure for the person’s entire life. Those days are long gone and the general attitude seems to be, “Well, if it doesn’t work out, I’ll simply divorce him/her and marry someone else”. This is exactly what happened in ancient Israel. They entered the covenant with one foot out the door in anticipation of a hasty retreat. They may have felt that they would deal with this Elohim for as long as they were happy with Him, and when the time came that they weren’t happy with Him, they would simply switch to another (pagan) elohim, of which there were many to choose from.

It must not be so with us, Brethren. We must be looking to form a perfect relationship with Yahuwah. As with the mud ball, we must see no seam or flaw. Looking at us must equate gazing on the Father. We must become one, as the mud ball.

Hosea 2:7

"She will pursue her lovers, but she will not overtake them; And she will seek them, but will not find them Then she will say, 'I will go back to my first husband, For it was better for me then than now!'

I am sure that most of us sought many different alternatives to the truth of Yahuwah before we finally found the right path. Most Christians already believe they are on the right path, which is what they are taught by their lying ministers. We, who call ourselves True Believers are the ones spoken of here, who have sought every other way first, before realizing there is only one way – Yahuwah’s and returned to Him. It has been a long uphill battle but the reward is going to be awesome.

Ephesians 5:31-32

For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.

This is where the idea of oneness was initiated. The institution of marriage was always symbolic of our relationship with Yahuwah – a sort of training exorcise. In practicing our relationship with each other, we are learning (or are supposed to be learning) to create the same oneness with the Father. Cheating on one’s spouse is akin to cheating against Yahuwah, etc. In fact, any act of lawlessness against any fellow human being is an act of lawlessness against Yahuwah also. And, it in no way advances that perception we have of ourselves that we wish everyone to believe – that we are one with Yahuwah, for He would never act in any form of deception.

This verse could also read, “for this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and shall be joined with Yahuwah, and the two shall become one flesh/spirit.” While children, we revere our parents as elohim, and if good children, try to emulate them (become one with them). Our future roles towards our spouses and children are to reflect the same spirit of oneness. Meanwhile, the traditional Christian denominations have a spirit of oneness, also; however, it is not oneness with the Creator they seek, but a oneness with the religious affiliation they have chosen for themselves – one in which they are most comfortable. If it is merely comfort one is seeking, that is about all one will find.

There is nothing comfortable about this walk with Yahuwah. We are being tested at all times. We are continually being asked to step out of our comfort zone and step bravely and boldly into Yahuwah’s Kingdom. Some may be forced to abandon friends and family to pursue Yahuwah. We may lose our jobs because of our keeping the Sabbath or Sanctified Days. Singles are faced with the limitation of finding a spouse who shares the same spiritual views and goals. But, like Job, we will experience great joy and exaltation in the end.

Meeting this challenge is like anything else in this world, we must work our hinnies off to get there. Salvation is not a free gift at all, like so many Christians believe. They only think so because of the other lie they believe – that Yahushua did away with the law. Nothing is so utterly foolish. No law = no sin; and so, everyone believes they can do what they please without consequence.

That is exactly what the elohim of this world (HaSatan) wishes us all to believe. He taught the first humans that they did not have to obey Yahuwah; which would have included all laws and commandments. This clearly pictures the Christian church and the elohim they serve in regurgitating the same words as HaSatan.

Just as we are to become one flesh with our human spouses, we are also to become one flesh with our spiritual spouse - Yahuwah. If we make no attempt to do so, we will simply never see the Kingdom. The world prefers oneness with HaSatan and seems to have no problem meeting that goal. Physically obeying Yahuwah’s every word is the first step in achieving that oneness with Yahuwah. The next step is to spiritually write the laws and commandments on our hearts to the point that even the thought to sin never again enters our minds again. When we achieve that status, we can know that we are truly one with the Father.

John 1:14

And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

The Father and the Son are already one flesh. And, this did not happen following Yahushua’s resurrection. Yahushua had already established this oneness with the Father before He created the worlds. Yahushua often stated that He was one with the Father. In fact, the oneness that they shared was so perfect that one could barely distinguish one from another. That is why most think it was the Father who actually did the creating and interacted with it, but it wasn’t. Yahuwah merely created the Seed. Yahushua was the Seed and, in Him was the blueprint for the entire creation. Yes, it was the Father’s will that was being performed, but it was Yahushua’s hands that did the actual creating.

Yahushua could have only reached this height by becoming one with the Father. And that is the same goal we all must seek (above everything else). So when you hear two individuals quibbling over one (man-made) doctrine or another, walk away. There is nothing unifying about that conversation – so do not even take part. Such seek to divide, not unify, which is why there are so many different denominations of any given religious entity.

And, as the Son is full of grace and truth, so are we to be. As the Son has made Himself into the perfect image of the Father, so are we to do.

I believe the dictionary definition of grace could be abundantly evident in Yahushua in all categories.

to favor or honor:to grace an occasion with one's presence.

When we allow Yahuwah’s spirit to grow and fill us as it did with Yahushua, this will also be how we appear to others, full of grace and truth. This does not come as a free gift at baptism. At that time we are only given the key to the house. We still have to get past all the security alarms that warn Yahuwah of the approaching, yet-corruptible creature. We must completely empty ourselves of our naturally carnal spirit and allow Yahuwah’s spirit to completely overwhelm us – and that will take time, for we have a truly cunning adversary in our own carnality. Our carnal spirit is constantly at war with Yahuwah’s spirit. However, this is a war that we must win or at least be making every effort to win, if we ever wish to see salvation.

I lumped these two references together because they seem to be speaking of the same or similar thing.

Romans 8:3

For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, Elohim did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

2 Corinthians 5:21

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of Elohim in Him.

Physically keeping the law never gained anyone salvation. It was merely a step in the right direction. Israel was never to rid themselves of their carnal spirit by the keeping of the law alone. But then they built all of their man-made doctrines around the physical keeping of the law as if that is what would save them. They did not write the laws on their hearts (at least, not all) and, therefore did not seek oneness with Yahuwah.

But in the words of Paul Harvey, this is the rest of the story. Yahuwah sent His own Son “in the likeness of sinful flesh”. This does not infer that Yahushua was sinful, but only that he resembled sinful flesh. In other words, for all intents and purposes, He resembled us. Yet, unlike us, He never succumbed to sin. From baptism forward, we are also to turn away from our own sinful flesh and become one with the Father.

And, as it states in the second verse, we are to take on the righteousness of Yahuwah to the point where we actually BECOME righteousness. That is what writing the law on our hearts is all about. There is absolutely no carnal route to righteousness. It is a spiritual road all the way. We must not merely read about righteousness and wish we could attain to it; we must expend all our energy in the endeavour of BECOMING RIIGHTEOUSNESS. There is no other way, as you have just read for yourselves.

Philippians 2:7-8

but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.

In the same way Yahushua emptied Himself to become like us, we are to empty ourselves to become like Him. In other words He was completely like us and as the first Adam, a vessel waiting to be formed. However, He succeeded where the first Adam failed. Therefore, His is the example we wish to emulate.

Yahushua went from the second most powerful being in existence to a lowly servant. Now that is humility. He became obedient to the point of death, which most would have been reluctant to do. He succumbed to one of the most horrifying executions ever and never faltered. All of the Apostles but John endured a similar end.

While many in the Christian churches expect some form of rapture to save them, even though they deny the laws of Yahuwah, we must expect no such rescue. Obedience to the point of death is the final test. We cannot run from it. We cannot hide from it; and we certainly will not be able to endure it without the Father’s spirit fully possessing us.

Hebrews 2:14-16

Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil, and might free those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives. For assuredly He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the descendant of Abraham.

Basically, all HaSatan offered Adam and Eve was eternal death; and, since Adam accepted his lie, HaSatan wields the power of death. This is the end HaSatan freely chose for himself; therefore, he wants company. And that is one thing he has in abundance. One third of the angels joined HaSatan in their rebellion against Yahuwah. Most of the human race ran off the cliff with him.

The statement, “He does not give help to angels” sound a little confusing, so here is an alternate interpretation.

Heb. 2:16 - For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

This one makes more sense. So, Yahushua never was of the same nature of angels. Then why do the Christians infer that Yahushua has always existed with the Father, on one hand, but believe that we are to become as the angels. Yahuwah did not create man after the angelic kind, but after the elohim kind. We will become an entirely different being than an angel. We are to become elohim, just like the Father and the Son. We will judge angels because we will be their superiors. Now I am not sure what happens to the angels after that judgment. Do they receive the same reward as us – as an elohim? The scriptures are not clear on that.

John 7:38

"He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.'"

This is likely one of the verses Christians refer to so as to support their claim that ALL they have to do is believe on Yahushua to gain salvation and eternal life. Well folks, believing on Yahushua is not the end-all to the puzzle. Why do you believe in Him – just because He is pretty? No, we believe in Him because of the words He spoke and the example of the way He died and was resurrected. Christians try also to separate Yahushua from the being that did the creating – Old Testament vss. New Testament. Their NT elohim is kinder and gentler than that nasty elohim of the Old Testament. Meanwhile they are the exact same being; only now Yahushua is exactly like the Father in every way – as we are purposed to be. Christians hate the elohim of the Old Testament, so they threw it out. Wow! Can you image, when in school, tearing out the pages of the textbook you weren’t interested in and expecting to pass the course? None are so blind as those who will not to see. And now the global Christian population stands at about two billion. Two billion blind rats, two billion blind rats, see how they run (straight off the cliff). So sad!

The “living water” is inside of us. It is Yahuwah’s spirit which dwells in each and every one of us. It nurtures and feeds us, if we allow it to. If we refuse the food it is offering us, that living water will become a stagnant, smelly, polluted swamp. That is exactly what Mainstream Christianity is today. There is a lot of mud in a swamp, but they are not even interested in molding such a relationship with Yahuwah. They still believe HaSatan’s lie, that they are already elohim. That is like a 2 year old claiming to be an adult and trying to drive the family car. The result would be a disastrous accident – which is also what Christianity is.

Galatians 2:16

nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Yahushua HaMashiyack, even we have believed in Yahushua HaMashiyack, so that we may be justified by faith in HaMashiyack and not by the works of the Law; since by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified.

This is one of the verses Christians also use to claim the law is done away. However, that is not at all what this verse is saying. This is not saying the law is done away, but simply that it is not what justifies us. Ancient Israel had the law, but they did not even know the Messiah; and when He did come on the scene, they killed Him.

Yahuwah, himself, declared that He did NOT come to destroy the law.

Matt. 5:17 - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 - For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 - Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 - For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Yahushua did not come to destroy but to fulfil the law (of righteousness). To fulfil the law is to fulfil the requirements of the law. Does it not make sense that we must fulfil the law also if we are to become like Him. So how do we fulfil the law? We write them on our hearts and in our minds to the point that the thought to break one of them no longer exists.

For how long is the law to stand? Till heaven and earth passes away (and make way for the new heavens and the new earth). I think we can all agree that heaven and earth have not yet passed away; therefore, the law stands.

Do we want to be called “least” in the Kingdom? Of course not! We all want to be called “great”. And if we want to be called great, we must be the servant who was given one talent and gave back ten.

What is righteousness? Is it not being lawful? Our righteousness (lawfulness) must surpass that of the scribes and Pharisees. We should be paying close attention to this. In what way did both of these groups come up short? Self-righteousness! They made the law the object of their worship. And, since they felt they were keeping the law perfectly, they should be objects of worship, also. That is self-righteousness.

Romans 6:3-5

Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into the Messiah, Yahushua have been baptized into His death? Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as the Messiah was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection,

We become united with Yahushua when we bury our old sinful self and turn away from all sin. When we are lifted up from the water we resemble the resurrected Messiah. I remember when I was first baptized and did not know what to expect. I expected some miraculous sign that I had gained Yahuwah’s approval, but nothing happened, at least not on that day. However the week before my baptism, I had asked to be baptized and was told to wait until the next Sabbath. I also asked for healing of a terrible back injury I had been suffering with for several years. I was told to wait for the following Sabbath in regards to that as well. I was a little disappointed because I was starting a new job on the Monday and I did not know if I could do it. Well, Monday morning came and the pain was gone. Yahuwah healed me simply for the asking. I did not receive the laying on of hands or the anointing oil and prayers until the following week. I take that as the sign of I was seeking of Yahuwah’s approval.

Galatians 3:27

For all of you who were baptized into Messiah have clothed yourselves with Messiah.

To put on Messiah we must do our uttermost to take on His nature. Merely declaring belief in Him is only the first baby step. If we believe in Him, we should also believe in and obey the words that He spoke. As for interpreting His words, I am a firm believer that the scriptures interpret themselves. A case in point is how mainstream Christianity interprets His word – through a filter of prior pagan beliefs. Meanwhile, it was those pagan beliefs that condemned us in the first place. We must not be as a dog, returning to its vomit. Once we have rid ourselves of our carnal spirit, we are never to return to it again.

Colossians 2:11-12

and in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of HaMashiyack; having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of Elohim, who raised Him from the dead.

At baptism, we denounced our old, sinful flesh, and took on new life via Yahuwah’s spirit in us. From that point on, we are to be practicing to make the mud ball complete and flawless. The physical cutting of the foreskin has been taken to the next level. We are now to circumcise our entire bodies from sin. We buried those old bodies with Yahushua and we were raised up by the same. We are new creatures and we must act like we are; not continuing to act as our former selves.

If the people around us do not see elohim when they see us, it is proof that we have much work to do yet. We are to become the image of the invisible Elohim. That is the mark we are to be elevating ourselves to. Nothing short of this mark will do.

1 Corinthians 6:17

But the one who joins himself to Yahuwah is one spirit with Him.

ONE SPIRIT! The very same righteous spirit as Yahuwah’s! We are to exorcise His spirit in every aspect of our lives – with our spouses, children, friends and relatives. This is no easy task as some situations in our lives cause us to explode into emotional tantrums that appear in no way righteous. The most prominent place for such tantrums seems to be within our immediate families. However, adversely, this is also the best area in which to practice utilizing Yahuwah’s spirit to bring peace to the situation.

Yahushua’s relatives did not believe Him either. His mother and brothers tried to “talk sense” to Him, but failed. It was not until they witnessed the presence of the Father’s spirit in Him, via His many miracles, that they believed him. And, of course, the most convincing testimony was His resurrection from the grave.

This is what we are supposed to be like following baptism – resurrected beings of one spirit with Yahuwah. Yahuwah promised that the very same miracles that followed the 1st century disciples would follow future generations of believers – and that they would do even greater deeds since they believed without personally witnessing the resurrection. Well, where are those miracles at today? They are certainly not following my witness. That tells me that I am not yet finished attaining to all things spiritual. I have more work to do. And, I know I am not alone.

John 15:1-8

"I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.”Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. "You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

This is a question we should be asking of ourselves everyday in our morning prayers. Are we bearing fruit? Bearing fruit is not only to be a personal endeavour but one in which we are bringing as many as we can into the fold. And, I know we have all experienced disappointment in trying to convert others. The problem, as I see it, is that they do not see Yahushua when they see us. Whose fault is that? OURS! People want to see the proof before they switch from their current, strongly-held beliefs. If they see no proof, they simply stay where they are. And, if we are not bearing such fruit, we are not fit for the Kingdom.

. John 17:20-26

"I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me. "The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one;

Yahushua gave us the “power” to become one with the Father as He and the Father are one. That power is the power of righteousness. Righteousness and truth are the ultimate spiritual powers. Nothing can stand against them. All lies will be exposed as will all unrighteousness. Yahuwah’s spirit is like a giant magnifying glass, examining every aspect of our lives and our beliefs. It seeks imperfection in the mud ball (our relationship with Yahuwah) and attempts to make the necessary repairs. Like with our automobiles, if we fail to make the necessary repairs when they present themselves, we are looking for trouble down the road. It is the same way with the spirit. If the spirit reveals an imperfection in our mud ball and we do nothing to “fix” it, we will experience trouble down the road.

Romans 8:9-11

However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you But if anyone does not have the Spirit of HaMashiyack, he does not belong to Him. If HaMashiyack is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him who raised Yahushua from the dead dwells in you, He who raised the Messiah Yahushua from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

The act of baptism signified becoming one with Yahushua. If one with Yahushua, we are one with the Father, too. We are to be at all times thinking, talking and acting like we are one with Yahushua and Yahuwah. If we are not, perhaps we have not fully divorced ourselves from the old us.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Righteous Spirit who is in you, whom you have from Elohim, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify Elohim in your body.

Our bodies are no longer our own. We “sold” them to Yahuwah in exchange for the receiving of His righteous spirit. The sole purpose of receiving this spirit is to become one with Yahuwah. The acceptance of this gift means that we are to show our gratitude at all times by allowing the spirit of righteousness to grow and overwhelm the carnal spirit. When we do not do this, we demonstrate indifference toward the spirit. And, like a little leaven spoils the whole lump, so is the case of demonstrating indifference towards Yahuwah’s spirit. Eventually we will show indifference towards all things spiritual.

Galatians 2:20

"I have been crucified with HaMashiyack; and it is no longer I who live, but the Messiah lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of Elohim, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

How great was Yahushua’s love for us? He gave up everything to become like us, so that he could feel our affirmatives and take away the penalty of sin for us. This is how much the Creator of our world loves us. We need to return that love back to Him by emulating His life in our own. We must be lights to the world, and such lights will never be seen if they are not turned on. Our light is to be a totally accurate copy of Yahushua’s light.

Colossians 1:27

to whom Elohim willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is HaMashiyack in you, the hope of glory.

There is no hope for glory without HaMashiyack in us. And, if that hope is genuine, we will be exhausting all avenues to attain that glory that was His. Who has ever been more favored by Yahuwah? Do we not wish for the same favour? Of course we do! But some feel that “favour” means it is a free gift and not something to be worked at and developed. Most of these individuals find their way into mainstream Christian denominations which already proclaim the Law done away and that we are all fine the way we are. Nothing could be further from the truth. We are not at all fine the way we are. We are horrible and retched! We need to change! We all need to take on the image of Yahushua.

Ephesians 5:32

32 - This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

33 - Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

1 - Children, obey your parents in Yahuwah: for this is right.

2 - Honour your father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

3 - That it may be well with you, and you may live long on the earth.

4 - And, you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of Yahuwah.

5 - Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto HaMashiyack;

6 - Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of HaMashiyack, doing the will of Elohim from the heart;

7 - With good will doing service, as to Yahuwah, and not to men:

8 - Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of Yahuwah, whether he be bond or free.

9 - And, you masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

10 - Finally, my brethren, be strong in Yahuwah, and in the power of his might.

This walk with Yahushua is indeed a great mystery – one which most of the world does not understand whatsoever. The rest of the passage reveals how it is that we are to conduct ourselves to reveal Yahuwah’s spirit in us.

1 – Oneness with one’s spouse. This is the prime physical example of becoming one with Yahuwah. Our spouses are likely the only ones we open ourselves fully to. If they cannot see Yahuwah in us, then it is likely that neither can anyone else.

2 – Oneness in our relationship to our children. Our children emulate us whether for good or bad. Let them see only the good, and they will become good. Demonstrate the power of the spirit before them and they will desire the same for themselves.

3 – Provoke not your children to wrath. Normally, most teenagers go through a stage of rebellion against their parents. This typifies man’s rebellion against Elohim. Just as a man feels he is already elohim, so a teenager believes he is already an adult and free to think and do whatever they please. However, the example we set before them also goes a long way. If they can see Yahuwah’s spirit at work in us, they will come away with a more positive and realistic self-perception.

4 – Obey your masters. This is a tricky one. But where a master demonstrates unrighteous behavior, we are to demonstrate righteous behaviour; and hopefully that master will see and respect our actions. Who knows; perhaps our behaviour will lead to that master’s conversion. Of course, where mainstream Christianity is concerned, they take this to mean that they must trust in and believe their church ministers. It is one thing if that minister is a true servant of Elohim (which pretty much all are not) but if not, obedience to that person is akin to following after HaSatan.

5 – Not to be man pleasers. That is what most in the mainstream Christian churches are. They want to be seen by their neighbors and praised by their ministers. They are not there to please Elohim, but themselves and each other. They think by sticking a righteous feather in their cap that it makes them righteous. However, developing true righteousness involves pleasing Yahuwah, not other men. Our mud ball must be a perfect union of our spirit with Yahuwah’s. Anything less is a counterfeit and unworthy of the Kingdom. We must be found doing the will of Yahuwah FROM OUR HEARTS – not simply paying lip service.

6 – At all times be found doing good works. There is no law against doing good – do so freely. No matter what the situation, practice finding a good solution – not one that makes matters worse. If we expect good works from Yahuwah, we had better be performing good works for our fellow man. And, the best work of all is in revealing the true Kingdom to them.

7 – Do not be a respecter of persons. Does this mean we should be rude to everyone? No, it means we are not to respect another human being over Yahuwah. The Christians do this with their ministers. The Jews do this with their rabbis. The Muslims do it with their Imams. The Catholics do it with their Pope. All religions worship some man before Yahuwah. That is why I stress an up close and personal relationship with Yahuwah first – then set out to seek other like-minded individuals.

8 – Be strong in Yahuwah. How do we become strong in Yahuwah? But studying His every word and removing all obstacles in becoming just like Him. We must not keep His words solely in our minds, paying lip service; but we need to write them on our hearts until we are obedient by nature.

Conclusion

Some seem to think they can keep their personal life separate from their spiritual life. This is possible but not advisable. We must be an open book, not only before Yahuwah but all of mankind. There must be no hypocrisy found it us. We cannot serve two masters. If we try, either one or the other master is going to send us to the chopping block. Seek to please only Yahuwah. No one else matters. No one else can deliver salvation. We must at all times proclaim the truth – no matter who it offends. Perhaps the offended person will take up the challenge of proving what is true and come to conversion.

Ours is not the “cake walk” that mainstream Christianity pushes. Ours is a life of trials and tribulation – perfecting of the spirit. We must not run away from nor become discouraged by such trials. Knowing that these trials perfect Yahuwah’s spirit in us, we should welcome such as an opportunity to grow in the spirit and seek the lesson Yahuwah is trying to teach us. Never question Yahuwah’s motive. He sees what we cannot. We must accept that His judgments are true and an accurate depiction of our spiritual state. We cannot rely on the perception we have of ourselves, which is most often inaccurate. We must see ourselves as Yahuwah sees us, which is exactly the vision Yahuwah is trying to show us when our trials come. Trials point out and help us to overcome our weaknesses. We cannot overcome them if we simply think we are fine the way we are and refuse to deal with them.

Two lumps of mud waiting to be molded! If one never makes the effort, they will never become one. If one approaches Yahuwah with a haughty attitude, thinking they are already perfect, they will never become one with Yahuwah. We must give up EVERYTHING, just as Yahushua did. We must empty ourselves of all pride, smugness and self-love, and present ourselves flawless before Yahuwah. Any other way will cause us to lose out on our salvation.

So, think about the mud ball when you pray and seek Yahuwah’s help (through trials and tribulations) to perfect the union of man and Elohim. Become perfect as Yahushua was perfect. Seek this perfecting of the spirit above all else. When we do, I am convinced that we will see the power of the spirit of righteousness working in and through us. Gory be to Yahuwah for His wonderful works.

Yahuwah Bless
