Man has been on a self-destructive course ever since creation. And the very first step was denying Elohim. HaSatan had convinced Adam that he was already an elohim; (which he was, though not fully), but not yet trained in the way of elohim to make credible spiritual decisions.

From that day on, man would be incapable of fulfilling his destiny. That is, until Yahushua came along.

They say that destruction begins within – within the individual foremost, then the organization (religious or political) and finally global. On the individual level, it begins when that person makes the decision that he does not want to obey Yahuwah (or anyone else). They are their own authority, and no one can tell them what to do. And yet they willingly give themselves over to HaSatan. They chose for themselves the elohim they wished to worship.

All forms of self-destruction followed. Man worshipped and mated with the first angels sent to “guard” the earth and mankind. The giant offspring they produced terrorized and murdered the inhabitants. And the sad part is that the people brought on this situation entirely by themselves.

2 Chron. 29:6 - For our fathers were unfaithful and did evil in the sight of Yahuwah our Elohim. They abandoned Him, turned their faces away from the dwelling place of Yahuwah, and turned their backs on Him.

The acts of unfaithfulness and evil perpetrated against and before Yahuwah were clearly self-destructive acts. Yahuwah is our lifeline. Faith and righteousness are all that is required to attain perfection; yet we cannot even manage that regarding attaining eternal life. Does the proposal of eternal life mean nothing to us? Well, either we believe it does or we don’t. Our personal answer to that question is what will determine our fates. And if we abandon Him, turn our faces and backs away from Him, that is exactly what He will do to us in our hour of need.

2 Kings 1:6 - “A man came to meet us,” they replied. “And he said to us, ‘Go back to the king who sent you and tell him, “This is what Yahuwah says: Is it because there is no Elohim in Israel that you are sending messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore, you will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!"

Yahuwah more than proved to Israel that He was the One and Only True Elohim. One had to be a total fool to reject Him for Baal-Zebub. The result of turning one’s back on Yahuwah is certain death. But since man feels that will be his end anyway, he simply goes full throttle in the opposite direction, thus guaranteeing his destruction.

Luke 1:17 - He will be a man with the spirit and power of Elijah. He will prepare the people for the coming of Yahuwah. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and he will cause those who are rebellious to accept the wisdom of the godly.”

The spirit and the power of Eliyah were indeed impressive. He was perfect in his service to Elohim and; therefore, Yahuwah used him to work his power. He was filled with the spirit as was witnessed by the power he wielded. Many believe that Yahuwah does not work that way anymore. I say poppycock to that. If any of us were as filled with the spirit as Eliyah, we too would possess such power. Therefore, the saying that Yahuwah “does not work that way anymore” is just a cop out for not seeking Yahuwah’s spirit in all truth and righteousness.

We all like to believe we are in the Philadelphian age of the church, but I have strongly begun thinking that it is really the Laodicean age we are truly in.

Hebrews 13:8 – Yahushua HaMashiyack is the same yesterday and today and forever.

The verse is not entirely true. Prior to the time of His execution, Yahushua was yet an incomplete creation, somewhere in substance between an angel and the Father. He had proved to be perfect in obedience to the Father before anything was created. He had to be as perfect as possible to represent the Father before the creation. But He had yet to test His obedience unto death. That is the ultimate test of all creatures as to determining our true spiritual state.

However, it is entirely true concerning His purpose, laws, decrees, commandments, edicts, etc. That has never nor will ever change.

Today, Yahushua is in every way exactly like the Father except that he was not always so. And, like the Father, when Yahushua issues a decree, it is forever. He never changes His mind or His decrees. It is only man who lies, deceives and does anything to get what He wants.

Acts 7:42 - But Elohim turned away from them and gave them over to the worship of the host of heaven, as it is written in the book of the prophets: ‘Did you bring Me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the wilderness, O house of Israel?

When someone turns away from serving Yahuwah as Israel did, Yahuwah gives them exactly what they wanted. He gave them over whichever deity they desired, which removed a further possibility that they would ever seek or receive eternal life. Doing such a thing result in only death. And working tirelessly to disobey Yahuwah is spiritual suicide.

It is the same today for anyone who believed and entered the covenant with Yahuwah, only to turn around and break that covenant. They, at the same time, remove any hope of salvation. This is a one-time opportunity for us, folks. There are no second chances.

After all that Israel suffered, all the miracles they witnessed, they yet fell short of the glory of Elohim, and because of that they could not enter into eternal life. How incredible is it for someone to go through all of that and still not believe?

Acts 22:6 - About noon as I was approaching Damascus, suddenly a bright light from heaven flashed around me.

Shaul’s conversion was one of the most incredible in the history of man. In a matter of hours, he went from persecutor to believer in a most spectacular fashion. Shaul chose to be spiritually blind to the Way; therefore, Yahushua made him physically blind as well. And Shaul turned his former enthusiasm and determination to destroy the faith into glorious tools to promote the gospel.

Titus 3:9 - But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, arguments, and quarrels about the law, because these things are pointless and worthless.

We see this all the time, all over the internet. The only thing that matters is that we exspend all of our energy, faith and love into achieving salvation. We must become faith. We must become truth. We must become righteousness in human form. And we must do that in the here and now. Many are not even trying to change now. They feel they will be changed by fiat following their death and resurrection, not realizing that it will then be too late.

Rev. 2:10 - Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.

We should all welcome the spiritual testing that is coming our way. It is our chance to show Yahuwah that we are ready for the Kingdom – that we have overcome all things. We may very likely end up in prison for our beliefs. We will be tested. We will be persecuted. We will be tortured. Many of us will be put to death. But if we remain true and faithful, we will be given the victor’s crown of eternal life in the end. And if you think your trial difficult, consider the trial and execution of our beloved HaMashiyack. We must always look at the “Big” picture.

Conclusion

The path that man finds himself on is the path of assured self-destruction. Unless he turns away from that path, he will continue into eternal non-existence. That is the polar opposite of eternal life. There will be no memory of that person anywhere in the future. We will not lament their passing because we won’t remember that person at all. It will be as if they never existed.

Rev. 20:11 - Then I saw a great white throne and the One seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from His presence, and no place was found for them.

The “One” is the Father. His throne is unique to all others in that He has always existed and created all that exists. The Son’s throne is unique also, as He was the “Firstborn” of all creation to enter the Kingdom. In other words, there is no “Trinity” (3 sitting on the same throne). That is merely a Roman Catholic fable.

12 - And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne.

And there were open books, and one of them was the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their deeds, as recorded in the books.

13 - The sea gave up its dead, and Death and Hades gave up their dead, and each one was judged according to his deeds.

Everyone who has ever lived from the rich and famous to the lowliest transient, all will stand before the same judge and be judged from the same Book of Life. Wouldn’t we love to know what this book says about us. Some day we will. The one thing that we can appreciate is that no one will be giving false testimony about us.

It is man’s attitude of lawlessness that is the very root of all our problems and misery. It causes them to be totally committed to destroying themselves. Just look at where we are today – on the eve of an all-out nuclear war between Russia and the US. Plus, we cannot forget China and North Korea. All are nuclear capable, and all hate the Western nations. How they can see any winner following a nuclear war is purely a Satanic deception.

14 - Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire.

15 - And if anyone was found whose name was not written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

Another way of putting this is that death and the grave were thrown into the fire. There is no place called “Hell” in Jewish theology. Hades simply means the grave. AKA, the dead know nothing and remain in the grave. There is no other state that accompanies death. Death is simply the state of nonexistence. Only Believers can come back from it. And that is only because they allowed the spirit of Elohim to completely inhabit their being. And it is the spirit that never dies.

Rev. 21:1 - Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

2 - I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

I believe I speak for everyone when I say, “This is the site we all wish to see”; the reward for all our suffering. I am sure we will be breathing a big sigh of relief when we get there. We will all be pinching ourselves and each other to make sure it is not a dream.

And what a sight the New Jerusalem is going to be, descending from heaven in all of its glory and landing on its eternal location. The universe will no longer be physical, but spiritual.

Do you ever wonder about how different life would have been if man had not given into temptation? None of the things we consider “every day”, would exist. Let’s examine the list.

1 – death

2 – adultery

3 – homosexuality

4 – politicians

5 – police

6 – military

7 – war

8- doctors

9 – lawyers

10 – judges

11 – crime

12 – sickness and disease.

13 – Etc., etc.

And the list goes on. The only thing that will exist is paradise and eternal life. We will no longer be addicted to ensuring our own self-destruction.
