What is done to the Son is done to the Father Also

As followers of Yahushua well know that any offence we commit towards a fellow believer is the same as committing the same offence against Yahushua. In similar manor, any offense we commit towards Yahushua we also commit against the Father, Yahuwah. Therefore, we must learn to mind our words, thoughts and actions, to bring them in line with the ways of the Father. If we stop to think first, what would the Father or Yahushua do if found in the same situation. Our automatic and human response to any given situation is almost always the exact opposite of what Yahuwah would do or say. We speak from emotions and anger most of the time when confronted with an unpleasant situation. We react without forethought. Can one imagine how awful it would be if Yahuwah reacted in such a manner? All life may well have been destroyed long ago.

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. This idea is called the Theory of Relativity, as coined by Einstein. The game of pool (billiards) is a great example of this theory. When playing the game, one uses one ball to cause another to go in a desired direction. We can alter that direction by shooting the first ball from a different angle. Such is the Law of Relativity. (I do not believe it is merely a theory). For EVERY action there is a reaction. Nothing can move without enacting this law.

Spiritually speaking all of our actions have reactions as well – whether for good or bad. Speaking actual words is something we learn quite young. Controlling our words is something else entirely. For some, this is a lifelong challenge.

It is also very easy to take the words someone is speaking and completely alter the context if not stated clearly. A prime example of this is how the media searches for any excused attacking U.S. President, Donald Trump. Any word he utters that they can twist and malign in any way, they do.

Our words and actions always have consequences. When we speak kind words towards someone, they usually react favourably. If we speak mean, hurtful words towards someone, we usually get an equally mean and hurtful response.

Let me draw on the example of Jonah and Nineveh.

Jonah 3:4 - And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

3:5 - So the people of Nineveh believed Elohim, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

3:6 - For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

3:7 - And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:

4:11 - And should not I spare Nineveh, that great city, wherein are more than six score thousand persons that cannot discern between their right hand and their left hand; and also much cattle?

In verse 4, Jonah gives the warning that (if they did not repent) the city would be thrown down by some means. Perhaps he also revealed to them how they would be thrown down, as described in the Book of Nahum (below). However, they took the prophesy seriously and repented.

What were the sins of Nineveh?

Nahum 3:1 - Woe to the bloody city! It is all full of lies and robbery; the prey depart not;

2 - The noise of a whip, and the noise of the rattling of the wheels, and of the prancing horses, and of the jumping chariots.

3 - The horseman lifts up both the bright sword and the glittering spear: and there is a multitude of slain, and a great number of carcases; and there is no end of their corpses; they stumble upon their corpses:

4 - Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the well favoured harlot, the mistress of witchcrafts, that sells nations through her whoredoms, and families through her witchcrafts.

Their sins pretty much violated every commandment of Yahuwah. Their sins were lying, stealing, murder, adultery, and practicing witchcraft. We can pick any city on Earth today and plainly see that each is in worse shape than Nineveh ever was. The consequences of their actions may be slow in coming, but it is coming.

5 - Behold, I am against you, says Yahuwah of hosts; and I will discover your skirts upon your face, and I will show the nations your nakedness, and the kingdoms your shame.

6 - And I will cast abominable filth upon you, and make you vile, and will set you as a gazing stock.

7 - And it shall come to pass, that all they that look upon you shall flee from you, and say, Nineveh is laid waste: who will bemoan her? Where shall I seek comforters for you?

Their sins would have been laid bare and everyone would know their shame. It is funny that those who deny Elohim yet feel guilt when they violate His laws. Of course, that is not because their actions violate Yahuwah’s laws but rather the societal norms of the day. If all of the society one lives in has converted sinful behaviour into a societal norm, no one feels guilty. Examples of this are abortion and homosexuality. In Yahuwah’s eyes, abortion is murder and homosexuality denies one of the purposes for which man was created – to populate the earth.

All sin is a direct slap to the face of Yahuwah. And, as we all know, the Son was created to stand in the Father’s place before all creation. He acted on the Father’s behalf so well that the whole world did and still does believe that it was the Father who directly interacted with mankind (in the OT). Yet, as I have revealed in past posts, the Father cannot approach corruption without destroying everything in His path. Corruption cannot dwell with incorruption. That is just a simple and indisputable fact.

Some (like the Jewish spiritual leaders) may think that sinning against the Son is not the same thing as sinning against the Father (or, at least imply such by their actions and words). All who think in this manner are fatally wrong and err to their own demise. Their actions, thoughts and words, will be brought down to the grave with them.

When Yahuwah sent His Son in human form to try and convert the hearts of men, He knew full well what the consequences of His actions were going to be. Yet, He had to set this example for the ones who would later come to Him through Yahushua.

The world may condemn the Jews for killing the Messiah; but the reality is that any nation that Yahushua came to would have done the exact same thing as the Jews. It was simply Yahushua’s destiny to become the perfect sacrifice for the salvation of man. The Jews are no more or less sinful than the rest of the population. They are merely singled out because they are considered to be the people or nation of Yahuwah’s favour. No one cared about the Jews in any special way before this event. But now that they had killed the Messiah whom they had waited so long for, the entire world condemns them. It is easy to point the finger, but there are always three fingers pointing right back at ourselves.

And, does the Christian world hold themselves higher than the Jews? You bet they do! And yet, they are no better. Mainstream Christianity, by their claim that the law has been done away, are in essence murdering the Messiah anew. By claiming a triune godhead, they are again murdering not only the Messiah but His Father as well and have created their own god whom they are free to worship as they please. Meanwhile, they falsely believe that they have all of Yahuwah’s favour. But then, every religion on earth is under the same delusion. They believe a man instead of the Creator of all life. I compare this with receiving an owner’s manual with your new automobile, ignoring all it tells you for the proper care and maintenance of your vehicle, tossing it in the trash and making up your own rules. There is no other term for it than complete insanity.

John 5,18 - Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that Elohim was his Father, making himself equal with Elohim.

19 - Then answered Yahushua and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things whatsoever he does, these also does the Son likewise.

20 - For the Father loves the Son, and shows him all things that himself does: and he will show him greater works than these, that you may marvel.

21 - For as the Father raises up the dead, and quickens them; even so the Son quickens whom he will.

22 - For the Father judges no man, but has committed all judgment unto the Son:

23 - That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honours not the Son honours not the Father which has sent him.

Of course, all judgement comes ultimately from the Father. However, as the Son is one with the Father in mind and nature, the son actually is just pronouncing the judgement of the Father. And, the Son also has the power over death only because it has been given to Him by the Father.

Verse 23 says it all. All men, not just the Jews, should honor the Son, even as they do the Father. The Jews certainly did not honor Him by murdering Him; and the Christians certainly do not honour Him by disobedience. In bringing such dishonor on the Son, they dishonor the Father also.

Falling into sin is about the easiest thing for any of us to do. Sinning is as natural as breathing for a carnal being. Walking Yahushua’s walk is the most difficult. And, as we know all too well, it is easy to backslide on occasion. We may do our best to keep it hidden, but eventually our sin always finds us out. And, it is not until our sin is exposed that we seek to change our behaviour. We seem to be fine with it up until that time. A common term for this is “hidden sin”. We may be successful in hiding our sins from our brethren but we can never hide it from Yahuwah; and we are foolish indeed to even try. And indeed, I have been just so foolish in the past. And, since our actions violate the laws of Yahuwah, it is ultimately He whom we are violating. Can we expect to be rewarded for such behaviour, or that Yahuwah is merely going to wink at it? I think not. A little leaven spoils the whole lump. In other words, any action we consciously take that violates Yahuwah will be a roadblock to our entering the Kingdom.

Our mission (if you decide to take it) is to become as close to possible in reflecting the image of Yahushua to the rest of the world. Contemplate on that statement for a few moments. Do any of us feel on equal par to the Messiah or the Father right now in our lives? I freely admit that I do not; which is why I am always striving to do better. It will be easy to tell when we are His equal because we will be able to do all the things He did. As much as I have tried to heal my children when sick, it never happened. The only time I have walked on water was while on water skis, being pulled by a boat. I have never changed water into wine; but I have frequently turned wine into urine (Lol).

John 14:12 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

13 - And whatsoever you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 - If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

The way I see things there are two different types of belief. The first is the superficial type, where one feigns belief to look good before their peers. The second is the intense, uncompromising type that comes from the heart and is 100% genuine.

Belief appears to be rewarded through the works of the spirit. That being the case, I must admit that my own faith and belief is wanting. I keep asking myself, “What do I yet have to do to achieve this state?”

15 - If you love me, keep my commandments.

These 7 words are at the root of the entire book of Scriptures. We demonstrate our love towards Yahuwah (and Yahushua) by keeping His commandments. How Mainstream Christianity ignores such verses and continue in ignorance, I will never know. But rather than pointing the finger at them we should be involved in self examination to see ourselves the way Yahuwah sees us. Are we found wanting? I would have to say, “Yes we are!”, or else the works that followed Yahushua and His disciples would be following us, also.

I remember how, while in the WCG, H.W was always declaring us to be the Philadelphian Church. No one wants to be a Laodicean, yet here we stand. If the works that followed the early assembly are not following us, we are yet of the Laodicean mindset. The Laodicean church was condemned for being luke warm instead of on fire for the truth. Perhaps we are not as on fire as we would like to believe. Most of us lead pretty active lives and may have less time to devote to Yahuwah as we may wish. However, Yahuwah knows our trials and understands tribulations. But a certain segment of every day should be devoted to the worship of Yahuwah.

So, the next time someone start spouting off to me that the law has been done away with, I plan to come back with John 14:15. “Oh, you don’t love the Messiah?” I can’t wait for their reply. The last time I answered with Matt. 5:17-19.

Matt. 5:17 - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 - For verily I say unto you, “Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 - Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

One cannot get much plainer than that. The fellow I was talking to said, “Of course I keep the 10 commandments”? “What about the Sabbath command? Do you keep the Sabbath?” I asked. He came back that the Sabbath was changed to Sunday. And, I asked by whom and asked him to show where in the Scriptures it said that. Of course he couldn’t, because such a verse does not exist. He hasn’t preached to me since. Nor do I believe he did anything with what I mentioned to him.

Yahushua died one of the most excruciating deaths anyone can. Most would have died before the 40th lash. And yet, His Father kept him alive until the appointed time of His death, when the lambs were sacrificed. Yahuwah has a time table for everything and everything happens in its appointed time.

What the Jews did to Yahushua was horrible. And this was the actual elohim who had led them out of Egypt to the Promised Land. Since Yahushua at all time stood in the Father’s place, the Jews were symbolically killing the Father, too. Can you imagine if the Father did die? The entire creation would die with Him as it is His spirit which holds it all together. If such a scenario were plausible everything would simply vanish into nothingness, as it was formerly.

Conclusion

The human mind is a strange place indeed! How can we at the same time be both loving and benevolent while on the other be hateful and violent? We are walking, breathing paradoxes. Our minds are no different than HaSatan’s, full of treachery and deceit. Unless we receive the spirit of Yahuwah and allow it to lead us, we cannot nor ever will change for the better.

We must keep these things in mind as we continue on our journey. The path to the Kingdom is a narrow one and there is always the chance that we might fall off it, to one side or the other. We need to maintain our focus on the truth, and nothing but the truth. This is what is pleasing to Yahuwah. This is what will gain us the Kingdom. Let us surge forward towards that end.

Yahuwah bless
