Rev. 13: 3 - And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 - And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 - And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
6 - And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against Elohim, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.
7 - And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 - And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
9 - If any man have an ear, let him hear.
The end-time beast is going to be more terrible than any other in all of man’s history. He will reach a point where it might seem like HaSatan has achieved the final victory.
The wound talked about in verse 3 was the fall of Rome. While the world celebrated the fall, Roman leaders disguised themselves as Catholic priests and continued to operate and control world events from within the Vatican. This led to the eventual formation of the Jesuit order (the military wing) and yes, the founding of America (New Rome). Since Roosevelt, every American president aside from Trump has bowed the knee before the Pope in a ritual that recognizes the Pope’s sovereignty over all the earth. And this is the way in which the deadly wound was healed.
Verse 4 asks the question, “Who is like the beast and who is able to make war with him?’ There are a number of images that come to mind over this statement. The coming One World Government will consist of ten regions ruled over by 10 kings. However, there will also be one central position over all. That office will be filled by the Beast himself, who will rule over all. If any region rebels, all the others unite and punish that region.
Blaspheme will be the bi-word of the day. The truth will be labeled as blaspheme and blaspheme truth. All true worshippers who worship the true Elohim will be most seriously targeted. They will attempt to force us to blaspheme our Master. See that you do it not!
Just as HaSatan received “permission” from Yahuwah to persecute Job, so will he get similar permission to persecute and test the saints. Yet, this follows Yahuwah’s plan as well – to test us to the limit. This might seem cruel to most worldly individuals who are devoid of any understanding in regard to the Father; however, Yahuwah needs to know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we are ready for the Kingdom. For indeed, the WHOLE WORLD is going to worship the Beast. And for a time, he will seem to be winning against the saints.
Rev. 13: 11 - And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke as a dragon.
12 - And he exercised all the power of the first beast before him, and caused the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
13 - And he doeth great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,
14 - And deceives them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
15 - And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 - And he causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 - And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
The first beast is a political power. The second Beast is a religious power. In the Vatican, we have both a political and religious power. It is currently the most powerful and richest entity on the earth. It controls the banks, which control the nations. Power from the top down – that is how the world before us works. Both come together as one – Rome and the RCC. In reality, there is no such thing as true democracy.
This second beast will be given power from HaSatan to perform certain miracles which will impress all the unrighteous. They will erect an image to the first beast in the form of a robotic or holographic apparition that moves and speaks. All who refuse to worship this image (chief amongst them, the saints) will be killed. Just like in the beginning of the RCC, it will be conversion by military might, not by conviction of the heart.
All who submit to the Beast will receive a mark on their hand or forehead. Some doubt that this will be a physical mark of any kind, but merely symbolic. Others see it as some form of microchip that tracks and controls the actions and thoughts of all humans. Whichever the case, the true saints must and will resist receiving this mark to the best of their ability. This means they will not be able to openly buy or sell anything without the mark. In other words, they will not be allowed to make a living without receiving the mark. They will likely have to flee to the wilderness to escape and survive.
Rev. 14: 9 - And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10 - The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of Elohim, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Wow; this passage leaves no doubt as to the fate of those who receive this mark. However, this fate may only apply to those who willingly receive the mark and not those who will be forced to receive it.
Rev.16:3 - And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
4 - And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.
A recent claim suggests the red colour of the waters could be from the waters being overwhelmed by red algae. However, from what I have read about red algae is that there are numerous kinds and all seem to have mostly good benefits. But like with all things, balance is the preferred target. Too much throws the balance in an undesired direction. Then again, it could possibly be human blood, as in the days of the exodus.
Another common misconception is exposed in verse 3. The term “soul” is usually used in reference to man, as something that exists separate from the body.
SOUL: CHRISTIAN CONCEPTS
The concept of the soul in Christian literature and tradition has a complex history. Moreover, Christian thought about its destiny is by no means uniform, nor is it always even clear.
Terminology
The New Testament word psuchē is rooted in the Hebrew nefesh, and in English both are generally translated "soul." In primitive Semitic thought nefesh (Arabic, nafs ) is a fine, diminutive replica of the body. As such it can be contrasted with ruaḥ, an onomatopoeic word that mimics the sound of breathing and is used to designate the spirit or principle of life that in such thought is seen in the breath, which stands in contrast to the flesh. The New Testament word psuchē, however, has complex overtones associated with the concept of life, sometimes also signifying what today would be called the self and often assuming a special connotation as the seat of the supernatural or eternal life, the life that cannot be destroyed by the malice of humans as can the body, yet can be destroyed by God (Mt. 10:39). So valuable is the psuchē that not even the whole of the material universe could compensate for its loss (Mt. 16:26, Mk. 8:36ff.).
In Genesis 2 we find the true interpretation of the term.
Genesis 2:7 - And Yahuwah Elohim formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Man became a living soul. It is what man is. I am a living soul. You are a living soul. Everyone is a living soul. In Revelation 16, the term is used in relation to sea creatures. They too are living souls. In other words, every living creature is a living soul. It is not something we become. It is not something that only humans possess. It is something we already are – living, breathing creatures.
Rev.16: 8 - And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
9 - And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of Elohim, which had power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
Something is going to change concerning our sun. The temperatures that effect the earth are going to greatly increase causing the earth to be almost uninhabitable. And yet, mankind will refuse to repent all the more and curse Elohim instead of giving Him glory. And that, of course, will cause Yahuwah to send even more punishment.
Rev.16: 10 - And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
11 - And blasphemed the Elohim of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
This angel directly attacks the Beast plunging his kingdom into darkness and causing great sores and excruciating pain to plague the population. Now, I would imagine that this darkness will be much the same as the darkness that afflicted Egypt in the day. That darkness was so great that the light of a torch could not penetrate it and one could not see their hand in front of their eyes nor find the door.
Even being tormented by very painful sores and boils, does not cause these individuals to turn to Yahuwah. Again, they continue to curse and blaspheme the Creator Elohim. Therefore, Yahuwah will need to send even more plagues. The human race is definitely hard-headed. It is like a losing prize fighter declaring to his opponent, “Knock me down and I will get up again”.
Rev. 16: 13 - And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 - For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of Elohim Almighty.
The spirits of three devils (fallen angels) will come out of the mouths of the Dragon, the Beast and the false prophet. The three demons will represent all that is unrighteous and evil and they will persuade all the kings of the earth to submit to them. At the time, there will be 10 kings under one central ruler governing the earth. These devils will convince all the kings to gather together for one final battle to decide the fate of the planet by the miracles they perform. Yes, demons are capable of working miracles.
That great day is coming as sure as the sun will rise tomorrow. Yahushua will come with His heavenly host of angels and face a very great human army (likely assisted by demons) to battle against Yahushua. This, of course, will be the Battle of Armageddon, in which Yahushua will emerge victorious and assume control of the entire earth.
Rev. 16: 17 - And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.
18 - And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.
19 - And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before Elohim, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
The great earthquake talked about here will literally change the entire surface of earth. Mountains will fall, plains will be raised up, cities will be swallowed up. It will split the “great city” (Rome) into three parts. And great Babylon will feel the wrath of Elohim.
Rev. 16:20 - And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
21 - And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed Elohim because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Men in the last days will be no different than the ancient Egyptians in Moses’ day. They will simply refuse to repent and turn to Yahuwah no matter what plagues they are made to suffer. We definitely are gluttons for punishment and spiritually retarded by nature.
Rev. 17: 12 - And the ten horns which you saw are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 - These have one mind and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 - These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
The 10 kings will receive power from the beast for one hour, or a very short time. They will all come together to fight Yahushua but will fail. Hopefully we will all be among those who are called “chosen and faithful”.
Rev.17: 16 - And the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 - For Elohim has put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of Elohim shall be fulfilled.
Power begets greed and the desire for even more power. The 10 kings are going to become hostile against the Whore (the religious authority) and destroy her. There will be no religious body at all following that, the atheists will rule alone at last. And Yahuwah will allow it because it will fulfill His word.
Rev.18: 4 - And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and that you receive not of her plagues.
5 - For her sins have reached unto heaven, and Elohim has remembered her iniquities.
6 - Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.
“Come out of her, my people” is the call that has gone forth from Yahuwah since man first sinned on the earth. But sadly, man generally has not heeded the call. The answer to escaping the plagues is simply to turn back to Yahuwah. Yet, man is so convinced that he is already elohim that he sees no need to turn to Yahuwah. He is about to learn a really difficult lesson.
Rev.18: 7 - How much she has glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she says in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
8 - Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is Yahuwah Elohim who judges her.
9 - And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,
10 - Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
Self-glorification is a dangerous thing, spiritually speaking. Such was the sin of every global Emperor that has ever lived. The proclaim themselves as elohim and shower themselves with much glory. Well, they had better enjoy their glory now, because there is no glory awaiting them in Yahuwah’s Kingdom.
Rev. 19: 6 - And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thundering’s, saying, Alleluia: for Yahuwah Elohim omnipotent reigns.
7 - Let us be glad and rejoice and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready.
Of course, Yahuwah Elohim has always ruled over the Earth. The fact that He was rejected of men, who freely chose HaSatan to be their Elohim was of no consequence. Everything that HaSatan has accomplished was foreseen by Yahuwah and built into His plan. Yahuwah’s plan will not be thwarted. It will not and cannot fail.
We are engaged to be married to the Lamb. However, before we can enter into that marriage, we have much preparation to do. For a human bride such preparations include picking a place to get married, hiring a preacher, picking out a wedding dress, picking flower arrangements, a wedding cake, etc., etc. For this wedding, the only thing we have to do is have all of our spiritual armour in place.
Rev.19: 19 - And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
20 - And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
21 - And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.
This almost final battle will be almost comical as the armies of men, with all confidence in their mighty weapons of war, square off with Yahushua and His heavenly host. All of the earthly armies will be killed and judged in the same moment.
Rev. 20: 4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahushua, and for the word of Elohim, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with HaMashiyack a thousand years.
5 - But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 - Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Elohim and of HaMashiyack, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Yes, Yahuwah has great plans for His children. Those who come up in the first resurrection will be the most blessed. They will receive the most cherished positions (kings and high priests) in the Kingdom. All who follow later will have lesser positions. We must decide now which category we wish to be part of and WORK for it with all our being. Yes, I said that nasty four-letter word, “work”. Our faith may get us to the doorstep of the Kingdom, but it will be according to our works that we will be judged and it will be decided what position we attain.
Rev. 20: 7 - And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 - And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.
9 - And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from Elohim out of heaven, and devoured them.
10 - And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Even after living under Yahushua’s rule for one thousand years, man will still be under HaSatan’s spell. And as difficult as it may be to believe, he will rise up again to fight against Yahushua. It will take a second “Great” battle before man finally submits to Yahuwah.
As for the last part of verse 10, the “lake of fire and brimstone” is far different than living in eternal hell. This concept of hell did not exist before the poet, Dante” imagined it. I, therefore, do not believe there is such a place and that the end of these adversaries will be eternal death. That will be their “torment”, as they will never see eternal life in Yahuwah’s Kingdom. Ezekiel describes their end.
