The Seal of Elohim

The Seal of Elohim

The following verses reveal that only those with the seal of Elohim in their foreheads will escape the plagues of the fifth seal. So, how can we be sure that we have the seal of Elohim in our foreheads?

Rev. 9:4 - And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of Elohim in their foreheads.

5 - And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he strikes a man.

6 - And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

The seal of Elohim is not something that can be readily seen – at least not by the general population. It is something that can only be seen through spiritual eyes, which only those earnestly seeking after Yahuwah have. Such come automatically when we receive the righteous spirit of Yahuwah at baptism. We can see what no other (non-baptized) human cannot; and we are a cause of confusion for them, which is why they hate us. The physical man, without the spirit of Elohim cannot understand the spiritual; which is why the nation of Israel failed so miserably.

Yes, we attain this seal immediately upon baptism, but it is what we do with it afterword that really counts. This seal marks our entry into the spirit realm, but it can quickly wither and disappear if we do not fulfill (or at least, are working towards fulfilling) the desire of Yahuwah, which is to become one with Him.

Here are some more verses on the topic. I found them at the following site

John 6:27 - Labour not for the meat which perishes, but for that meat which endures unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him has Elohim the Father sealed.

Why was Yahushua sealed? Was it not because He was filled with righteousness, the same righteousness that fills the Father? Can we qualify by any other means? I think we all know the answer to that. Well folks that is exactly what becoming one with the Father entails – taking on the full righteousness of the Father.

2 Cor 1:22 - Who has also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Can any nominal Christian claim to have the “earnest of the spirit in their hearts? How could anyone with such earnest toss all the Laws of Yahuwah out the window and turn to serve another god (Constantine). We cannot serve two masters and such Christians have chosen theirs. Do the Scripture not warn us repeatedly concerning such folly? Do we have anyone to blame but ourselves when we follow such a path? No we don’t.

Eph 1:13 - In whom you also trusted, after that you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that you believed, you were sealed with that righteous spirit of promise,

First we have to believe Yahuwah before we can move forward at all. That only makes sense. So is it also possible for one to lose that belief over time and quit seeking after Yahuwah? Of course, we have many examples of that.

At baptism we were sealed with the righteous seal of promise. Many, although in the midst of being baptized, do not fully understand what they are committing to.

Many Christians today were born into that faith and have simply followed their old family traditions. Others simply chose any church that is within easy commuting distance or one that a friend directs them to. They, at no time, committed their faith to Yahuwah. They have more of a social club mentality and wish to harmonize with the club president – their minister. They distance themselves from the Word of Elohim rather than embracing and internalizing them. We need only to look at the Christian ministers who have been caught in scandalous affairs to recognize that fact. They are no better than the nation of Israel – attempting to gain eternal life by their own physical means. That is simply not possible, folks.

The last minister at the WCG church I attended in Peterborough was a prime example of what I am talking about. However, I am not sure who was worse, him of his wife. What I didn’t like about him was that he blindly followed whatever headquarters told him to. When he admitted to this when I questioned him about the “God Is” booklet the church put out. He said we did not understand it but was bound to teach it anyway. As far as I was concerned it was an admission that he was merely preaching for a paycheque. His wife was accused of being a busy body and causing strife amongst the female members. Sometime after I left, I heard that he was removed from that church and transferred to another. I guess the WCG followed the RCC in that regard – transferring wayward priests rather than getting rid of them.

Eph 4:30 - And grieve not the righteous spirit of Elohim, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.

We are not to grieve the spirit. How do we grieve the spirit? We grieve the spirit every time we succumb to sin. If we wish not to grieve the spirit we simply must not sin. Practice makes perfect. If we keep practicing resistance to sin, we will eventually attain that oneness with Yahuwah that we desire. We have to continue resisting until it becomes part of our nature. Once we reach that state, we are truly one with Yahuwah. And, of course, this is the state where even the thought to sin no longer abides in us. The simple and plain truth is that corruption cannot inherit incorruption. So, if in our minds we remain in anyway corrupted, or the potential for future corruption exists, we will never see the Kingdom. Are we winning the race, or just treading water?

Another way in which I am sure we grieve the spirit of Yahuwah is in replacing His righteous name with a pagan substitute.

When some read the following verses, they automatically think of a physical seal.

Rev 7:2 - And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living Elohim: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

Rev 7:3 - Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our Elohim in their foreheads.

Rev 9:4 - And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of Elohim in their foreheads.

The seal is a spiritual state, not a physical seal/emblem. The angel that ascended from the east certainly would not be expected to have such a seal on their foreheads. The angels are not physical beings, although not full spirit beings either. I would image that all the angels who did not rebel (2/3s) all bear the seal (of oneness) with the Father. They are merely awaiting their judgment to become elevated to full inherent life. The seal is Yahuwah’s recognition that we share a oneness with Him.

Neither do I believe that the Mark of the Beast will be a physical mark. These seals/marks merely represent a state of mind. One is for Yahuwah and the other is against Yahuwah. Any who are not for Yahuwah are automatically for HaSatan and that is the seal that they bear.

We may not be able to see who wears this seal of Elohim but Yahuwah and Yahushua certainly do. We may be able to fool other humans but we cannot fool Yahuwah or Yahushua. Anyone can put up a good front.

This statement from the same site sums it all up nicely. I have only changed the names.

“To depart from iniquity is to keep Elohim's law. The disciples of Elohim, those who know, and are known by Elohim, and call on the name of HaMashiyack, are sealed with His law. The seal of Elohim is in His law, so clearly this is a symbolic seal, not a literal one.”

It is literally the keeping of Yahuwah’s law that seals us. If we have not Yahuwah’s seal, then we have HaSatan’s. There are only two choices; and unfortunately, those with HaSatan’s seal are just as zealous in the worship of him (the god of this age) as those with the seal of Yahuwah are for Yahuwah. I have tried to talk to such, but my words bounce off them as if they have absolutely no comprehension of what I am talking about. My hope for them is that someday something will spark the memory of what I said to them and change their course. After all, that is how it happened with me.

Conclusion

So, what have we learned from this study?

1 – The keeping of Yahuwah’s law is the seal of Yahuwah.

2 – Not keeping the law is the seal of HaSatan.

3 – Neither of these seals are a physical mark of any kind.

So, whose seal have all those Christians who believe and teach that the law is done away? Why, the seal of HaSatan. And they wear their seal proudly. We must wear Yahuwah’s seal just as proudly. We have the seal of the living Elohim. They have the seal of a doomed fallen angel who will never see the fulfillment of his destiny; and neither will those following him.

No this war with our human spirit is a difficult and discouraging one at times. However, if we persevere will reach the stage of oneness with Yahuwah, when the thought to sin no longer abides in us and a whole new spiritual world opens up before us. It is indeed an awesome future that awaits us, if we believe in and pursue it. So pursue it with all your strength and vigor, my brothers and sisters.

Yahuwah Bless
