The Whole Story

The Whole Story

I have entitled this article “The Whole Story”, yet I know it is anything but. The trouble with writing is that each author or set of authors write from their own perspective and like when you have a number of different witnesses to the same crime, no two witnesses usually agree in what they saw. What I am attempting to do in this case is come up with a cross comparison of three different but complimentary books (the Torah, the Book of Jasher and the Book of Enoch) to come up with a clearer picture of past history and the overall plan of Yahuwah. I was also looking for messianic references that will clear up the origin and the role of Yahushua prior to his human manifestation. I did find quite a bit of such information in the Book of Jasher an even more so in the Book of Enoch.

With the Torah we have a very unique book which one might as well say was written by Yahuwah even though Moshe (Moses) was the literal author. Moshe admits that it was Elohim that gave him the words to write. I recognize that the Torah presents an overview of world history but the main focus is on the plan of Yahuwah and instructions on how humans might acquire eternal life.

With the discovery of hidden codes found throughout the Torah we have confirmation that the Torah most definitely is the written word of Yahuwah. Using this code detecting system, which only works on the Torah (of all the books on this planet) and in the Hebrew language, one finds Yahuwah’s “signature” coded into each book. The tetragrammaton is found coded into the beginning of each of the first four books and backwards at the end of the fifth book, Deuteronomy. These five books were the original Torah and the only ones dictated by Yahuwah. If it were not for computers these Torah codes would never have been discovered. Perhaps this will end up being a book within a book or one that was meant to be “sealed up” till the end days. Also, since these codes only work in the Hebrew language, one might wonder if there is something special concerning the Hebrew language as well. Is the Hebrew language to be considered a “sacred” language, or the language of Elohim? It’s a very interesting question, but not one I am prepared to answer at this point or in this article.

The Book of Jasher begins with the creation of man rather than the earth. It appears to add many details to the historical events of the Torah. What surprised me the most was its total omission of any reference to fallen angels, their mating with the daughters of man and producing giant offspring? Yet it fills in missing gaps in the case of Abraham’s birth and early life. It also gives much more details concerning the sons of Jacob, their exploits and the hardships they endured in Egypt. It also covers the exodus and the conquest of the Promised Land. It is more history than actual instruction.

In contrast, the Book of Enoch is more instruction than history. There can be no doubt left by the end of this book that Enoch was indeed a very righteous and wise man. Enoch does make reference to the fallen angels and the terror they caused on the earth, which led mankind further into sin and were the prime reason Yahuwah brought the flood upon the earth. Again there are many tidbits that fill in gaps and answer questions left by the Torah.

Even though there are some questionable passages and terms in both of these books, such as the height of the Tower of Babylon (Jasher), the height of the giants (Enoch), and the use of the term “Son of Man”, they are otherwise very useful aids that compliment Torah understanding and give us a more complete picture of the past.

In the Beginning

This “beginning” starts with the creation of man, since the Torah is the only one of the three books that covers the “creation week” and we have nothing to compare it to. I am sure we are all familiar with the Torah account of the creation and temptation of man. The Book of Jasher has only a little to add.

  1. Jasher 1:12 - And Yahuwah Elohim drove them that day from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which they were taken, and they went and dwelt at the east of the garden of Eden; and Adam knew his wife Eve and she bore two sons and three daughters.

The Torah does not mention the fact that Adam and Eve had three daughters around the same time they had Cain and Abel. It is a small point, but these daughters would have eventually had to become the wives of one of their brothers since there were no other women around at the time. This is the only mention of them in the book of Jasher.

Jasher adds a little more information concerning the contention between Cain and Abel that led to Abel’s death.

Jasher 1

16. And unto Cain and his offering Yahuwah did not turn, and he did not incline to it, for he had brought from the inferior fruit of the ground before Yahuwah, and Cain was jealous against his brother Abel on account of this, and he sought a pretext to slay him.

17. And in some time after, Cain and Abel his brother, went one day into the field to do their work; and they were both in the field, Cain tilling and ploughing his ground, and Abel feeding his flock; and the flock passed that part which Cain had ploughed in the ground, and it sorely grieved Cain on this account.

18. And Cain approached his brother Abel in anger, and he said unto him, What is there between me and thee, that thou comest to dwell and bring thy flock to feed in my land?

19. And Abel answered his brother Cain and said unto him, What is there between me and thee, that thou shalt eat the flesh of my flock and clothe thyself with their wool?

20. And now therefore, put off the wool of my sheep with which thou hast clothed thyself, and recompense me for their fruit and flesh which thou hast eaten, and when thou shalt have done this, I will then go from thy land as thou hast said?

The law of such offerings must have indeed been in place for there to have been any form of transgression involved with the manner in which they were offered. In fact, the more I look into it, the more evidence I find that many the laws Yahuwah gave to Israel were merely a revival of former laws which were undoubtedly given to Adam in the very beginning. We know the Sabbath law was given right from the start; and even though not much is said about it, I am sure that Yahuwah fully instructed Adam concerning all of the law, not just the one concerning the two trees. That was something totally different. All the Laws of Yahuwah are for instruction unto salvation and for testing. But this particular test (of the two trees) was one that would set the course for all of mankind till the end of days. We can also know of a certainty that the clean and unclean food laws were in place when Noah was gathering the animals into the ark, for how else would he have known which were clean and which were unclean?

So verse 16 reveals that there was some sort of law involving the sacrifices in place at this time and that Cain violated one of these laws in offering up fruit of the land that was inferior in quality and demonstrated his unhealthy spiritual attitude toward Yahuwah. On the other hand Abel offered up the very best of his flock, demonstrating that he feared and respected Yahuwah.

What started the final argument between Cain and Abel was that Abel allowed his flocks to walk across Cain’s freshly plowed fields. In verse 18 Cain claims that it was his land. Whether the two brothers had certain parcels of land given them is unclear. After all they had an entire planet to choose from. But the argument was over Abel’s indifference to the hard work Cain had gone to plough the field. To tell the truth, I think I would have been a little angry with Abel myself – but not to the point of murder. But then Cain was looking for an excuse to kill Abel from the time that Yahuwah chose Abel’s offering over his.

Now I don’t know about the rest of my readers but I see a messianic slant to this story. Adam was the firstborn of all mankind and; therefore, was to be the messiah of mankind. If he had not of sinned, the world would have never known death and suffering. Since Adam failed in his appointment and set the course of rebellion against Yahuwah for all of mankind, Yahuwah had to look for a replacement for him. He found in Abel one that had a righteous heart and unwavering faith in his Elohim. So he became a type of the Messiah and an example for the rest of mankind just like Yahushua was the example for all of creation. Naturally Cain represented the carnal nature of all mankind and slew the anointed one of Yahuwah, thinking that instead of changing his own attitude, he would solve the problem by killing the example that was set before him. The Jewish authorities were of the exact same attitude when they killed the Messiah Yahushua. Since the sins of the father are visited upon his children to the third and fourth generations, all man had to do was resist temptation and follow Yahuwah for four generations to be sin free and perhaps change the course of history, but they could not even do that. Yahuwah has given man plenty of chances to transform themselves, but the result is always the same.

From the sound of the argument Abel shot back that since Cain had free access to all that was Abel’s he should not be angry with him for crossing his land. Since Cain was looking for an excuse to kill him anyway, he would not see Abel’s side of the argument at all. He should have taken the dispute before Yahuwah, or at least before Adam, for a resolution but instead took it upon himself to judge and execute his brother. For his actions, Cain was banished from the land of his father, Adam, and sentenced to wonder the earth and scratch and claw for his existence.

Jasher 2

  1. And the sons of men went and they served other gods, and they forgot Yahuwah who had created them in the earth: and in those days the sons of men made images of brass and iron, wood and stone, and they bowed down and served them.

  2. And every man made his god and they bowed down to them, and the sons of men forsook Yahuwah all the days of Enosh and his children; and the anger of Yahuwah was kindled on account of their works and abominations which they did in the earth.

  3. And Yahuwah caused the waters of the river Gihon to overwhelm them, and he destroyed and consumed them, and he destroyed the third part of the earth, and notwithstanding this, the sons of men did not turn from their evil ways, and their hands were yet extended to do evil in the sight of Yahuwah.

For us whom Yahuwah has granted sight, it seems inconceivable that mankind would so soon after the creation forget the One who created them. However, we also know from the way the world views us and from the lives that we ourselves were called out of, that the unrighteous mind can easily deceive itself and create a totally false reality, following the same path as Adam and determining right from wrong as if we were already elohim. Of course when you start with a bad foundation the whole house is affected. It is the same with mankind. His reasoning begins with false premises and therefore has no other direction but the wrong one. Here we have another case of mankind rejecting his Creator and making himself and his idols gods in His place.

Jasher includes here information that is not found in the Torah, which is that Yahuwah caused a relatively minor flood at that time that wiped out only a third part of the earth – a forewarning the greater flood to come. Rather than seeing this as coming from Yahuwah and repenting, mankind simply carried on as if it was just one of those twists of “nature” that cannot be avoided. Even the Noation flood did nothing to change the heart of man. It will be much the same in the last days also when mankind will refuse to see the lessons that Yahuwah is giving them in the plagues He sends upon them and continue to place all their faith in themselves and the gods that they have created.

11. And Cainan grew up and he was forty years old, and he became wise and had knowledge and skill in all wisdom, and he reigned over all the sons of men, and he led the sons of men to wisdom and knowledge; for Cainan was a very wise man and had understanding in all wisdom, and with his wisdom he ruled over spirits and demons;

This information is not mentioned in the Torah either. Cainan was the grandson of Seth. According to the Book of Jasher, he “reigned over all the sons of men, and he led the sons of men to wisdom and knowledge”. He was so wise that he even ruled over spirits and demons (righteous and fallen angels). You would think that he would command greater mention in the Torah but does not. Naturally one must assume that after the death of Cainan mankind reverted back to its perversion again.

13. And in those days Cainan wrote upon tablets of stone, what was to take place in time to come, and he put them in his treasures.

  1. And Cainan reigned over the whole earth, and he turned some of the sons of men to the service of God.

Here the author is clarifying that not all of the sons of men turned to Yahuwah. This is kind of unusual since the norm throughout history seems to be that the general population follows their king no matter what. It would seem that man’s proclivity is “love sin above all else”.

21. And some of the sons of men caused their wives to drink a draught that would render them barren, in order that they might retain their figures and whereby their beautiful appearance might not fade.

22. And when the sons of men caused some of their wives to drink, Zillah drank with them.

23. And the child-bearing women appeared abominable in the sight of their husbands as widows, whilst their husbands lived, for to the barren ones only they were attached.

I suspect that this was the first type of birth control ever practiced. While reading this passage, I wondered what the draught was made from and if it needed only to be consumed once or daily? Verse 24 and 25 tell us that Yahuwah opened Zillah’s womb again near the end of her days and she produced a son and a daughter afterward.

This phenomenon is running rampant in our day. Many women these days do not want to have children because of their concern about their looks. This is one of the highest forms of vanity where women are concerned. However, here it was the men who did not want their wives to lose their figures and shunned the wives who had given birth. A number of men today also shun their wives following child birth and either leave or take on mistresses. I confess that I had the big snip done following the birth of my last daughter. Although I now feel guilty for having that done, I am now 61 and unmarried so I see no need to reverse the surgery. However, Yahuwah did command mankind to multiply upon the earth and knowing what I know today I would have never had it done. Who knows, Yahuwah might have given me the son I always wanted.

26. And Lamech was old and advanced in years, and his eyes were dim that he could not see, and Tubal Cain, his son, was leading him and it was one day that Lamech went into the field and Tubal Cain his son was with him, and whilst they were walking in the field, Cain the son of Adam advanced towards them; for Lamech was very old and could not see much, and Tubal Cain his son was very young.

27. And Tubal Cain told his father to draw his bow, and with the arrows he smote Cain, who was yet far off, and he slew him, for he appeared to them to be an animal.

28. And the arrows entered Cain's body although he was distant from them, and he fell to the ground and died. And Yahuwah requited Cain's evil according to his wickedness, which he had done to his brother Abel, according to the word of the Lord which he had spoken.

29. And it came to pass when Cain had died, that Lamech and Tubal went to see the animal which they had slain, and they saw, and behold Cain their grandfather was fallen dead upon the earth.

  1. And Lamech was very much grieved at having done this, and in clapping his hands together he struck his son and caused his death.

The Torah does not mention the demise of Cain specifically, but merely mentions:

Gen. 4:23 - And Lamech said unto his wives, Adah and Zillah, Hear my voice; ye wives of Lamech, hearken unto my speech: for I have slain a man to my wounding, and a young man to my hurt.

24 - If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold.

Now were know that the man Lamech killed was Cain and the young man was his own son, Tubal Cain.

Jasher 3

2. And the soul of Enoch was wrapped up in the instruction of Yahuwah, in knowledge and in understanding; and he wisely retired from the sons of men, and secreted himself from them for many days.

  1. And Enoch rose up according to the word of Yahuwah, and went forth from his house, from his place and from the chamber in which he was concealed; and he went to the sons of men and taught them the ways of Yahuwah and at that time assembled the sons of men and acquainted them with the instruction of Yahuwah.

  2. And he ordered it to be proclaimed in all places where the sons of men dwelt, saying, Where is the man who wishes to know the ways of Yahuwah and good works? Let him come to Enoch.

  3. And all the sons of men then assembled to him, for all who desired this thing went to Enoch, and Enoch reigned over the sons of men according to the word of Yahuwah, and they came and bowed to him and they heard his word.

  4. And the spirit of Elohim was upon Enoch, and he taught all his men the wisdom of Elohim and his ways, and the sons of men served Yahuwah all the days of Enoch, and they came to hear his wisdom.

  5. And all the kings of the sons of men, both first and last, together with their princes and judges, came to Enoch when they heard of his wisdom, and they bowed down to him, and they also required of Enoch to reign over them, to which he consented.

  6. And they assembled in all, one hundred and thirty kings and princes, and they made Enoch king over them and they were all under his power and command.

  7. And Enoch taught them wisdom, knowledge, and the ways of Yahuwah; and he made peace amongst them, and peace was throughout the earth during the life of Enoch.

  8. And Enoch reigned over the sons of men two hundred and forty-three years, and he did justice and righteousness with all his people, and he led them in the ways of Yahuwah.

In the Torah report, we are not told much of the details of the life of Enoch, only that:

Gen. 5:19 - And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

20 - And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

21 - And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

22 - And Enoch walked with Elohim after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

23 - And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24 - And Enoch walked with Elohim: and he was not; for Elohim took him.

In the Book of Jasher we find out that Enoch was well respected for his wisdom and devotion to Yahuwah. We also find out that Enoch ruled over the sons of men for 243 years; and that 130 kings and princes were under his command. That is pretty impressive. This would place Enoch in the Order of Melchizadek, even though Melchizadek would not come along until later. And, even later, Yahushua would attain this office. However, in his day, Enoch was the king of peace and high priest of the entire Earth before the Most High Elohim.

Jasher 3

20. And he did in this manner for many years, and he afterward concealed himself for six days, and appeared to his people one day in seven; and after that once in a month, and then once in a year, until all the kings, princes and sons of men sought for him, and desired again to see the face of Enoch, and to hear his word; but they could not, as all the sons of men were greatly afraid of Enoch, and they feared to approach him on account of the Elohim-like awe that was seated upon his countenance; therefore no man could look at him, fearing he might be punished and die.

Enoch too took on an appearance like Elohim with his face shinning like the sun. This is the sign of one being filled with the spirit of Yahuwah. During his transfiguration, Yahushua’s face also appeared in such a manner. When Moshe came down from Mt. Sinai, his face, too, shone like the sun.

24. And in some time after, when the kings and princes and the sons of men were speaking to Enoch, and Enoch was teaching them the ways of Elohim, behold an angel of Yahuwah then called unto Enoch from heaven, and wished to bring him up to heaven to make him reign there over the sons of Elohim, as he had reigned over the sons of men upon earth.

25. When at that time Enoch heard this he went and assembled all the inhabitants of the earth, and taught them wisdom and knowledge and gave them divine instructions, and he said to them, I have been required to ascend into heaven, I therefore do not know the day of my going.

(These should be verses 23 & 24. I am having some technical problems copying and pasting.)

27. And at that time the sons of men were with Enoch, and Enoch was speaking to them, and they lifted up their eyes and the likeness of a great horse descended from heaven, and the horse paced in the air;

28. And they told Enoch what they had seen, and Enoch said to them, On my account does this horse descend upon earth; the time is come when I must go from you and I shall no more be seen by you.

29. And the horse descended at that time and stood before Enoch, and all the sons of men that were with Enoch saw him.

36. And when the kings returned they caused a census to be taken, in order to know the number of remaining men that went with Enoch; and it was upon the seventh day that Enoch ascended into heaven in a whirlwind, with horses and chariots of fire.

Most people simply assume that Enoch was granted eternal life right there and then. I have a problem with that assumption. Such reasoning would make Enoch instead of Yahushua the firstborn of the new creation without even tasting death. Would that not make the honour and glory of Enoch greater than the Messiah’s? It just does not make sense, nor does such a theory harmonize with the plan of Yahuwah that is illustrated throughout the Scriptures. Rather, I have two possible theories. The first is that Enoch was translated to some remote area of the earth to live out the rest of his life separate from mankind. The second is that he was changed into an angelic spirit being. Since angels do not yet possess eternal life but have what is referred to as “length of days”, meaning that they possess life indefinitely, but that the source of their life still emanates from Yahuwah. They do not yet possess eternal life. If they did, there would be no need for them to face a judgment. We already know the punishment for the wicked angels; so, what is the reward for the righteous angels, except promotion into the new creation as eternal living beings – their own source of life. Whatever the scenario, I do not believe that Enoch has already attained eternal life.

Fallen Angels and Giants

Genesis 6:1 - And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them,

2 - That the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

3 - And Yahuwah said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4 - There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of Elohim came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

Now, some say that the “sons of Elohim” mentioned here were in reality the sons of Seth. I never did agree with that theory. Throughout the Old Testament, only angels are referred to by the term, “sons of Elohim”. It is not until the New Testament, following the rebirth of Yahushua that men, specifically the followers of Yahushua, were also called by this term.

This is all that the Torah gives us on this subject. The Book of Jasher does not mention this incident at all. However, the Book of Enoch goes into great detail.

Enoch Chapter 6

1 And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto 2 them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: 'Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men 3 and beget us children.' And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not 4 indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin.' And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations 5 not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves 6 by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn 7 and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And these are the names of their leaders: Samlazaz, their leader, Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, 8 Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaq1el, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens.

Enoch Chapter 7

1 And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms 2 and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants. And they 3 became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells: Who consumed 4 all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against 5 them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and 6 fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.

An ell is a Dutch measurement. 1 ell = 27 inches. At 3000 ells, this would have made these giants 81,000 feet (15.34 miles) tall which is just beyond the portion of the earth’s atmosphere that contains oxygen and into the ionosphere. This is 15-15.5 times higher than the altitude at which our passenger jets fly. I can’t help but feel this is a slight exaggeration.

Also notice that they are called the lawless ones. Would they have been so called if their were no law in place at the time? This proves that Yahuwah’s laws have been in effect since the beginning of creation, to which the angels were under the same obligations as man.

Enoch Chapter 8

1 And Azazel taught men to make swords, and knives, and shields, and breastplates, and made known to them the metals of the earth and the art of working them, and bracelets, and ornaments, and the use of antimony, and the beautifying of the eyelids, and all kinds of costly stones, and all 2 colouring tinctures. And there arose much godlessness, and they committed fornication, and they 3 were led astray, and became corrupt in all their ways. Semjaza taught enchantments, and root-cuttings, 'Armaros the resolving of enchantments, Baraqijal (taught) astrology, Kokabel the constellations, Ezeqeel the knowledge of the clouds, Araqiel the signs of the earth, Shamsiel the signs of the sun, and Sariel the course of the moon. And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven . . .

Some archeological evidence has surfaced that suggests that our ancient relatives did indeed possess some amazing knowledge for their time. For one thing they knew things about the stars and our solar system (such as the fact that there are 9 planets) which we did not know until the early 20th century with the development of high powered telescopes. They also knew about our solar system’s orbit around the Milky Way, as well as the system of “ages” that we go through. Early human skeletons were found that brain surgeries were performed on that were successfully according to the scaring around the holes that proved they survived the surgeries.

A small object made of pure gold was found that scientists originally thought was some sort of flying insect. However, one scientist thought it resembles an aircraft and made a scale model to test out. It flew perfectly. Some of the things mentioned here don’t seem like that big a deal, but apparently it was to Yahuwah; and I can only guess that it was the intent that this knowledge was to be used for that offended our Creator (i.e. weapons of war).

The name, Azazel should be familiar to most readers. On the annual Day of Atonement it was customary to take two goats, one of which was called the Azazel goat, upon which all sin was laid . the Azazel goat was then released into the wilderness to fend for itself. His sin seems to have been especially grievous to Yahuwah. For those, like myself, unfamiliar with the term, “antimony” here is the definition.

Enoch Chapter 9

1. And they said one to another: 'The earth made without inhabitant cries the voice of their cryingst up to the gates of heaven. 3 And now to you, the holy ones of heaven, the souls of men make their suit, saying, "Bring our cause 4 before the Most High."' And they said to Yahuwah of the ages: 'Lord of lords, Elohim of elohim, King of kings, and Elohim of the ages, the throne of Thy glory (standeth) unto all the generations of the 5 ages, and Thy name holy and glorious and blessed unto all the ages! Thou hast made all things, and power over all things hast Thou: and all things are naked and open in Thy sight, and Thou seest all 6 things, and nothing can hide itself from Thee. Thou seest what Azazel hath done, who hath taught all unrighteousness on earth and revealed the eternal secrets which were (preserved) in heaven, which 7 men were striving to learn: And Semjaza, to whom Thou hast given authority to bear rule over his associates. And they have gone to the daughters of men upon the earth, and have slept with the 9 women, and have defiled themselves, and revealed to them all kinds of sins. And the women have 10 borne giants, and the whole earth has thereby been filled with blood and unrighteousness. And now, behold, the souls of those who have died are crying and making their suit to the gates of heaven, and their lamentations have ascended: and cannot cease because of the lawless deeds which are 11 wrought on the earth. And Thou knowest all things before they come to pass, and Thou seest these things and Thou dost suffer them, and Thou dost not say to us what we are to do to them in regard to these.

The blood of those slaughtered by these giants cried up to Yahuwah asking what they were to do with them (the giants). Yahuwah’s answer came in the form of the Noation flood. Now if these giants were as tall as previously claimed, one can imagine that their heads would have been well above the waters of the flood and they would have survived. For them, it would have been like walking through a mud puddle. I don’t imagine that the flood waters did anything to the fish population, so they would have had plenty of food. Therefore, I further maintain that the previously stated height of these giants was grossly exaggerated.

It is noted here that a fallen angel by the name of Semjaza was given authority (from the other 200 lawless ones) and rulership over the 200 angels in total that came to earth and mated with the daughters of men. Could this be the ancient name for HaSatan? After all, he is the “god” of this Earth and it would seem that he would naturally rule over these fallen angels.

It is said that by the mouths of 2 or more witnesses that truth might be determined. So, with the witness of both the Torah and the Book of Enoch, we can ascertain that there were indeed giants in those days; and that some of them may have indeed been quite tall – even seeming like they were 81,000 feet tall. How would they have been able to measure their height? It is very difficult to estimate a measured distance by eye looking up. Let’s assume that the average size foot of a man 6 feet tall is 12 inches or 1 foot long. Divide the given height of these giants by 6 and we get a foot length of 13,500 feet or 2.73 miles. The width of one’s foot is roughly half of the length, so the width of their feet would have been 6,750 feet or 1.36 miles. Just taking a stroll they could have wiped out entire cities. The stride length of a man 6 feet tall is approximately 3 feet, or half their height. At a height of 15.34 miles, their stride would have been 7.67 miles apart. The earth is some 33,000 miles in circumference. That would mean that one of these giants could circle the earth in only 4302.48 strides. They could have likely transverse the circumference of the earth in a single day. You would think that there would be some indentations in the form of a footprint left somewhere on the earth. Either this is a gross exaggeration or someone goofed in the translation.

Also, included in the folk lore of almost every culture on Earth are stories of giants dwelling on the Earth at some ancient point in time. Can all these reports be mere myths? I have found that all myths, even the mythical gods have some loose connection to the truth. For example, the Greek tradition is that all the gods came out of a watery chaos. This could be talking of the beginning of the creation week in Genesis 1 or reference to the Noation flood and some cultures did indeed end up worshipping Noah and his sons, under a variety of different names, as gods following their deaths. Emperor worship was even common in Yahushua’s day and the disciple Paul ran into this type of Gentile worship wherever he went.

Noah

The following verses describe the birth of Noah.

Enoch 106

1 And after some days my son Methuselah took a wife for his son Lamech, and she became 2 pregnant by him and bore a son. And his body was white as snow and red as the blooming of a rose, and the hair of his head and his long locks were white as wool, and his eyes beautiful. And when he opened his eyes, he lighted up the whole house like the sun, and the whole house 3 was very bright. And thereupon he arose in the hands of the midwife, opened his mouth, and conversed with the Lord of righteousness. 4 And his father Lamech was afraid of him and 5 fled, and came to his father Methuselah. And he said unto him: ' I have begotten a strange son, diverse from and unlike man, and resembling the sons of the God of heaven; and his nature is different and he is not like us, and his eyes are as the rays of the sun, and his 6 countenance is glorious. And it seems to me that he is not sprung from me but from the angels, and I fear that in his days a wonder may be 7 wrought on the earth. And now, my father, I am here to petition thee and implore thee that thou mayest go to Enoch, our father, and learn from him the truth, for his dwelling-place is 8 amongst the angels.' And when Methuselah heard the words of his son, he came to me to the ends of the earth; for he had heard that 1 was there, and he cried aloud, and I heard his voice and I came to him.

It was determined before Noah was born what his mission and appointment would be. Like the Messiah, he was born into righteousness. This is such an awesome picture; I don’t know why it is omitted from the Torah. Noah emitted this great light, sat up in his nurse’s hands and conversed with Yahuwah from the moment he was born. If they ever develop a time machine, this is one of many events I would like to go back and witness.

Also notice that Methuselah travelled to some place on the earth to meet with Enoch, which supports my belief that Enoch was not taken up to heaven nor received eternal life at that point, but was merely translated someplace else on the earth where he eventually died in peace. Again, if Enoch was born into the new kingdom ahead of Yahushua, he (Enoch) would be the firstborn into the new creation instead of Yahushua.

And his father Lamech became afraid and fled to me, and did not believe that he was sprung from him, but that he was in the likeness of the angels of heaven; and behold I have come to thee that thou mayest make known to me the truth.' And I, Enoch, answered and said unto him: Yahuwah will do a new thing on the earth, and this I have already seen in a vision, and make known to thee that in the generation of my father Jared some of the angels of heaven transgressed the word of Yahuwha. And behold they commit sin and transgress the law, and have united themselves with women and commit sin with them, and have married some of them, and have begot children by them. And they shall produce on the earth giants not according to the spirit, but according to the flesh, and there shall be a great punishment on the earth, and the earth shall be cleansed from all impurity. Yea, there shall come a great destruction over the whole earth, and there shall be a deluge and 16 a great destruction for one year. And this son who has been born unto you shall be left on the earth, and his three children shall be saved with him: when all mankind that are on the earth 8 shall die [he and his sons shall be saved]. And now make known to thy son Lamech that he who has been born is in truth his son, and call his name Noah; for he shall be left to you, and he and his sons shall be saved from the destruction, which shall come upon the earth on account of all the sin and all the unrighteousness, which shall be consummated on the earth in his days. And after that there shall be still more unrighteousness than that which was first consummated on the earth; for I know the mysteries of the holy ones; for He, Yahuwah, has showed me and informed me, and I have read (them) in the heavenly tablets.

The first section that I highlighted is speaking of the flood that He was going to bring upon the earth as a result of what the fallen angels did. All the mysteries that they taught and were yet to teach mankind would be destroyed with them. However, Enoch also tells Methuselah (in the last section I highlighted) that there would still be more unrighteousness following the flood.

The fact is also brought out here that the giants born to the fallen ones were completely flesh and blood, which therefore agrees with my argument, that if these giants were 3,000 ells (81,000 feet) tall there is no way they would have been able to breathe at that altitude.

When Lamech first saw his son Noah, he feared that he had been fathered by one of the fallen angels. That is why he sent his father Methuselah to inquire of the event of Enoch in whose wisdom he trusted.

Jasher 5

12. Noah the son of Lamech refrained from taking a wife in those days, to beget children, for he said, Surely now Elohim will destroy the earth, wherefore then shall I beget children?

  1. And Noah was a just man, he was perfect in his generation, and Yahuwah chose him to raise up seed from his seed upon the face of the earth.

  2. And Yahuwah said unto Noah, Take unto thee a wife, and beget children, for I have seen thee righteous before me in this generation.

  3. And thou shalt raise up seed, and thy children with thee, in the midst of the earth; and Noah went and took a wife, and he chose Naamah the daughter of Enoch, and she was five hundred and eighty years old.

How many times have you heard, “I don’t want to have children because I do not want to bring them into such an evil world”? These were Noah’s thoughts as well. However, this was a violation of Yahuwah’s command to multiply upon the earth. Yahuwah had to correct Noah on this account and assure him his children would be safe.

16. And Noah was four hundred and ninety-eight years old, when he took Naamah for a wife.

17. And Naamah conceived and bare a son, and he called his name Japheth, saying, Elohim has enlarged me in the earth; and she conceived again and bare a son, and he called his name Shem, saying, Elohim has made me a remnant, to raise up seed in the midst of the earth.

Gen. 6:8 - But Noah found grace in the eyes of Yahuwah.

9 - These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with Elohim.

10 - And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

Gen. 9:18 - And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan.

19 - These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread.

Gen. 10:1 - Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

21 - Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

Now, when I first read the Book of Jasher, I thought he was mistaken concerning the birth order of Noah’s sons because the Torah always lists them in a different order giving the impression that Shem was the first born, followed by Ham and lastly Japheth. However, verse 10 shows that Japheth was indeed “the elder”. I had completely overlooked this verse previously. This confirms my contention that we must never stop searching for all truth. No matter how confident we are in what we already “know” we must never assume that what we know is the absolute truth and be ready at all times to test our knowledge.

Nimrod

The Torah makes only a brief mention of this character, Nimrod.

Gen. 10:8 - And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

9 - He was a mighty hunter before Yahuwah: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before Yahuwah.

10 - And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

11 - Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,

12 - And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.

13 - And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

14 - And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.

The Book of Jasher goes into much greater detail.

Jasher 7

23. And Cush the son of Ham, the son of Noah, took a wife in those days in his old age, and she bare a son, and they called his name Nimrod, saying, At that time the sons of men again began to rebel and transgress against Elohim, and the child grew up, and his father loved him exceedingly, for he was the son of his old age.

24. And the garments of skin which Elohim made for Adam and his wife, when they went out of the garden, were given to Cush.

  1. For after the death of Adam and his wife, the garments were given to Enoch, the son of Jared, and when Enoch was taken up to Elohim, he gave them to Methuselah, his son.

  2. And at the death of Methuselah, Noah took them and brought them to the ark, and they were with him until he went out of the ark.

  3. And in their going out, Ham stole those garments from Noah his father, and he took them and hid them from his brothers.

  4. And when Ham begat his first born Cush, he gave him the garments in secret, and they were with Cush many days.

  5. And Cush also concealed them from his sons and brothers, and when Cush had begotten Nimrod, he gave him those garments through his love for him, and Nimrod grew up, and when he was twenty years old he put on those garments.

30. And Nimrod became strong when he put on the garments, and Elohim gave him might and strength, and he was a mighty hunter in the earth, yea, he was a mighty hunter in the field, and he hunted the animals and he built altars, and he offered upon them the animals before Yahuwah.

The Torah makes no mention whatsoever concerning these garments that Yahuwah made for Adam being passed on from generation to generation or having any particular power associated to them. Jasher claims that wearing these garments gave Nimrod his great strength and imparted righteousness to him somehow. At least it would seem that Nimrod was blessed in his earliest exploits by Yahuwah. The wearing of these garments would have likely been seen by the general population as a symbol of authority over the rest of the earth. According to the birth order commonly rendered in the Torah it was obviously Shem who was favoured by Yahuwah. If Ham had not of stolen these garments, I am reasonably sure that they would have gone to Shem.

  1. And Nimrod strengthened himself, and he rose up from amongst his brethren, and he fought the battles of his brethren against all their enemies round about.

  2. And Yahuwah delivered all the enemies of his brethren in his hands, and Elohim prospered him from time to time in his battles, and he reigned upon earth.

  3. Therefore it became current in those days, when a man ushered forth those that he had trained up for battle, he would say to them, Like Elohim did to Nimrod, who was a mighty hunter in the earth, and who succeeded in the battles that prevailed against his brethren, that he delivered them from the hands of their enemies, so may Elohim strengthen us and deliver us this day.

The entire world wanted to be like Nimrod – brave, strong, mighty in battle and a great hunter. He was their hero, their Superman, their messiah, etc. They began to worship him in place of Yahuwah; and Nimrod’s celebrity status went right to his head and he started to imitate the same abomination as men did before the flood.

  1. And when Nimrod was forty years old, at that time there was a war between his brethren and the children of Japheth, so that they were in the power of their enemies.

  2. And Nimrod went forth at that time, and he assembled all the sons of Cush and their families, about four hundred and sixty men, and he hired also from some of his friends and acquaintances about eighty men, and be gave them their hire, and he went with them to battle, and when he was on the road, Nimrod strengthened the hearts of the people that went with him.

  3. And he said to them, Do not fear, neither be alarmed, for all our enemies will be delivered into our hands, and you may do with them as you please.

Nimrod was pretty confident that Yahuwah was on his side at this point.

  1. And all the men that went were about five hundred, and they fought against their enemies, and they destroyed them, and subdued them, and Nimrod placed standing officers over them in their respective places.

  2. And he took some of their children as security, and they were all servants to Nimrod and to his brethren, and Nimrod and all the people that were with him turned homeward.

  3. And when Nimrod had joyfully returned from battle, after having conquered his enemies, all his brethren, together with those who knew him before, assembled to make him king over them, and they placed the regal crown upon his head.

The implication here is that not only were the people making Nimrod their king but their “god” as well.

  1. And he set over his subjects and people, princes, judges, and rulers, as is the custom amongst kings.

  2. And he placed Terah the son of Nahor the prince of his host, and he dignified him and elevated him above all his princes.

Terah was from the line of Shem – his great, great, great, great, great, great grandson. However, he did not follow the instruction of Noah and Shem, who were both still alive and living elsewhere to the west. Instead, Terah followed the customs and abominations of the followers of Nimrod. Yet Yahuwah had predetermined that the royal lineage was to continue through Terah by way of his son Abram (Abraham).

  1. And whilst he was reigning according to his heart's desire, after having conquered all his enemies around, he advised with his counselors to build a city for his palace, and they did so.

Like so many of the kings before him, Nimrod became puffed up with power and began to do whatever was pleasing in his sight.

  1. And they found a large valley opposite to the east, and they built him a large and extensive city, and Nimrod called the name of the city that he built Shinar, for Yahuwah had vehemently shaken his enemies and destroyed them.

  2. And Nimrod dwelt in Shinar, and he reigned securely, and he fought with his enemies and he subdued them, and he prospered in all his battles, and his kingdom became very great.

  3. And all nations and tongues heard of his fame, and they gathered themselves to him, and they bowed down to the earth, and they brought him offerings, and he became their lord and king, and they all dwelt with him in the city at Shinar, and Nimrod reigned in the earth over all the sons of Noah, and they were all under his power and counsel.

What it is saying here is that the population of the entire earth gathered to worship Nimrod and recognize him as the only authority under Yahuwah on the Earth. This is much the same as the Catholic’s view of their Pope today. Pope worship, emperor worship, it’s all the same thing – worship of anyone other than the One True Elohim. Such is the way of the world. It wants a deity that they can see, touch, blame and cast down if necessary.

  1. And all the earth was of one tongue and words of union, but Nimrod did not go in the ways of Yahuwah, and he was more wicked than all the men that were before him, from the days of the flood until those days.

  2. And he made gods of wood and stone, and he bowed down to them, and he rebelled against Yahuwah, and taught all his subjects and the people of the earth his wicked ways; and Mardon his son was more wicked than his father.

  3. And every one that heard of the acts of Mardon the son of Nimrod would say, concerning him, From the wicked goeth forth wickedness; therefore it became a proverb in the whole earth, saying, From the wicked goeth forth wickedness, and it was current in the words of men from that time to this.

A fellow Believer and Truth Seeker from Texas, Cathy Key, sent me this juicy tidbit.

Oh and by the way, during my quiet time the other morning as I was reading from the HalleluYah Scriptures, I stumbled across something that I'd just read in Yasher. It was the ancient saying "Out of the wicked comes forth wickedness", referring to Nimrod's evil son, Mardon. Well, I was reading in Shemu'el 1 (1 Samuel) chapter 24 about the future King Dawid's continual escapes from King Shaul, when low and behold, here is what Dawid says to Shaul... "As the proverb of the ancients says, 'Wickedness comes from the wicked'." King Dawid was quoting directly from Yasher!

1 Sam. 24:13 - As saith the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness proceedeth from the wicked: but mine hand shall not be upon thee.

This reference to the Book of Jasher is not mentioned by any of the Bible commentators that I know of. Therefore, I believe that all the credit goes to Cathy for this discovery.

Jasher 7

  1. And Terah the son of Nahor, prince of Nimrod's host, was in those days very great in the sight of the king and his subjects, and the king and princes loved him, and they elevated him very high.

  2. And Terah took a wife and her name was Amthelo the daughter of Cornebo; and the wife of Terah conceived and bare him a son in those days.

  3. Terah was seventy years old when he begat him, and Terah called the name of his son that was born to him Abram, because the king had raised him in those days, and dignified him above all his princes that were with him.

It is strange that someone not even descended from Cush would have been promoted over all the other rightfully descended princes. This speaks volumes of the wisdom and other qualities that Terah brought to the table that endeared him to the people.

Jasher 8

  1. And it was in the night that Abram was born, that all the servants of Terah, and all the wise men of Nimrod, and his conjurors came and ate and drank in the house of Terah, and they rejoiced with him on that night.

  2. And when all the wise men and conjurors went out from the house of Terah, they lifted up their eyes toward heaven that night to look at the stars, and they saw, and behold one very large star came from the east and ran in the heavens, and he swallowed up the four stars from the four sides of the heavens.

  3. And all the wise men of the king and his conjurors were astonished at the sight, and the sages understood this matter, and they knew its import.

  4. And they said to each other, This only betokens the child that has been born to Terah this night, who will grow up and be fruitful, and multiply, and possess all the earth, he and his children for ever, and he and his seed will slay great kings, and inherit their lands.

  5. And the wise men and conjurors went home that night, and in the morning all these wise men and conjurors rose up early, and assembled in an appointed house.

  6. And they spoke and said to each other, Behold the sight that we saw last night is hidden from the king, it has not been made known to him.

These “wise men and conjurors” knew the instant they saw the sign in the heavens that Terah’s newborn son would grow up to be someone very important in Yahuwah’s scheme of things. They recognized that someone from Abram’s line of descent would eventually bring Nimrod’s empire crashing down around him. We will shortly see how that would come about.

These same “wise men and conjurors” met the next day to decide what to do, knowing that the king yet had no knowledge of the importance of this child. Fearing what would become of them if the king later found out that they had kept it from him, they decided that the king (Nimrod) must be told.

11. And thy servants were astonished at the sight which we saw, and were greatly terrified, and we made our judgment upon the sight, and knew by our wisdom the proper interpretation thereof, that this thing applies to the child that is born to Terah, who will grow up and multiply greatly, and become powerful, and kill all the kings of the earth, and inherit all their lands, he and his seed forever.

  1. And now our lord and king, behold we have truly acquainted thee with what we have seen concerning this child.

  2. If it seemeth good to the king to give his father value for this child, we will slay him before he shall grow up and increase in the land, and his evil increase against us, that we and our children perish through his evil.

  3. And the king heard their words and they seemed good in his sight, and he sent and called for Terah, and Terah came before the king.

What these wise men and conjurors overlooked or ignored was the fact that the birth of this child and his destiny came for Yahuwah. They actually thought that if they killed the child they would take care of the problem. King Herod in Yahushua’s time would seek the same solution in regards to the Messiah, Yahushua.

Terah did appear before Nimrod and was ordered to bring his son before the king so that he might be killed. Terah brought the son of one of his servants instead. The king had the child killed and thought that all good. However, Terah hid Abram for 10 years in a cave with his mother and a nurse and afterward sent him to the home of Noah and Shem to be raised in the ways of Yahuwah. And the child grew up becoming increasingly wise in the ways of Yahuwah and never ceased serving his Elohim. However, the day would come when he would return to Ur desiring to see his father and family.

Chapter 9

6. And Terah took Abram his son secretly, together with his mother and nurse, and he concealed them in a cave, and he brought them their provisions monthly.

7. And Yahuwah was with Abram in the cave and he grew up, and Abram was in the cave ten years, and the king and his princes, soothsayers and sages, thought that the king had killed Abram.

10. And there was not a man found in those days in the whole earth, who knew Yahuwah (for they served each man his own Elohim) except Noah and his household, and all those who were under his counsel knew Yahuwah in those days.

No one on earth except for Noah and his household knew or were obedient to Yahuwah. How unbelievable is that? Only eight generations after the flood and the world is right back where it started. How can mankind be duped so easily? HaSatan is a much greater adversary than most can imagine.

One other significant event took place before Abraham returned to Ur.

The Tower of Babylon

21. And all the princes of Nimrod and his great men took counsel together; Phut, Mitzraim, Cush and Canaan with their families, and they said to each other, Come let us build ourselves a city and in it a strong tower, and its top reaching heaven, and we will make ourselves famed, so that we may reign upon the whole world, in order that the evil of our enemies may cease from us, that we may reign mightily over them, and that we may not become scattered over the earth on account of their wars.

22. And they all went before the king, and they told the king these words, and the king agreed with them in this affair, and he did so.

23. And all the families assembled consisting of about six hundred thousand men, and they went to seek an extensive piece of ground to build the city and the tower, and they sought in the whole earth and they found none like one valley at the east of the land of Shinar, about two days' walk, and they journeyed there and they dwelt there.

24. And they began to make bricks and burn fires to build the city and the tower that they had imagined to complete.

25. And the building of the tower was unto them a transgression and a sin, and they began to build it, and whilst they were building against Yahuwah Elohim of heaven, they imagined in their hearts to war against him and to ascend into heaven.

26. And all these people and all the families divided themselves in three parts; the first said We will ascend into heaven and fight against him; the second said, We will ascend to heaven and place our own gods there and serve them; and the third part said, We will ascend to heaven and smite him with bows and spears; and Elohim knew all their works and all their evil thoughts, and he saw the city and the tower which they were building.

27. And when they were building they built themselves a great city and a very high and strong tower; and on account of its height the mortar and bricks did not reach the builders in their ascent to it, until those who went up had completed a full year, and after that, they reached to the builders and gave them the mortar and the bricks; thus was it done daily.

28. And behold these ascended and others descended the whole day; and if a brick should fall from their hands and get broken, they would all weep over it, and if a man fell and died, none of them would look at him.

29. And Yahuwah knew their thoughts, and it came to pass when they were building they cast the arrows toward the heavens, and all the arrows fell upon them filled with blood, and when they saw them they said to each other, Surely we have slain all those that are in heaven.

30. For this was from Yahuwah in order to cause them to err, and in order; to destroy them from off the face of the ground.

31. And they built the tower and the city, and they did this thing daily until many days and years were elapsed.

These men were foolish to the point of being almost retarded. It was like they had no concept of distance or height. They obviously had no knowledge concerning the atmosphere above the earth. They obviously started out with a good solid base if it took two days to walk around it; however, I believe that its height has been greatly exaggerated.

Dictionary.com

atmosphere Envelope of gases surrounding the Earth and shielding it from the harsh environment of space. The gases it contains are vital to life. About 95% by weight of the Earth's atmosphere lies below the 25km (15 mile) altitude; the mixture of gases in the lower atmosphere is commonly called air. The atmosphere's composition by weight is: nitrogen 78.09%, oxygen 20.9%, argon 0.93%, 0.03% of carbon dioxide, plus 0.05% of hydrogen, the inert gases and varying amounts of water vapour. The atmosphere can be conceived as concentric shells; the innermost is the troposphere, in which dust and water vapour create clouds and weather. The stratosphere extends from 10–55km (8–36mi) and is cooler and clearer and contains ozone. Above, to a height of 70km (43mi), is the mesosphere in which chemical reactions occur, powered by sunlight. The temperature climbs steadily in the thermosphere, which gives way to the exosphere at c.400km (250mi), where helium and hydrogen may be lost into space. The ionosphere ranges from c.50km (30mi) out into the Van Allen radiation belts.

Now, I have been involved in the building trade most of my life. I have done a lot of work on high ladders and scaffolds and when I first read that it took one full year for these labourers to climb to the top of this tower, I was immediately skeptical. We know that when airplanes flying at an altitude of only 1-1 ½ miles above the earth run into trouble the very first concern is oxygen to breath. Therefore, how could these men have reached that height or higher without oxygen? Let’s use the least ridiculous scenario and say that this tower was only one mile high. One mile equals 5280 ft. Divide that by 365 days to find out how far they climbed in one day. 5280 / 365 = 14.46 ft. per day. Even using the Hebrew measure of a year, you only get 14.66 ft. per day. I could climb that far in about ½ a minute. A sloth could climb faster. Let look at it from a different angle. Let’s give these workmen the benefit of the doubt and say that they were able to climb 1,000 feet a day, which I feel would be reasonable. 365 x 1,000 = 365,000 feet in one year. Divide 365,000 ft. by 5,280 ft and you get 69.13 miles as the height of this tower. That would put the top of the tower within 1 mile of the mesosphere, 68 times the altitude that our passenger planes fly. This is so far beyond the realm of reality that one has to be skeptical of this report. Yet, I’d bet that most reading this even today, would pass over it without a second thought. We examined the claim of the height of the giants earlier. Both claims together prove one thing; our ancient ancestors had no concept of how to accurately measure height.

Of course, the whole point of the story is about their attitude towards Yahuwah. Their intent was to overthrown the Creator of the universe. How stupid and backwards could these people have been? And yet, in the last day, the armies of the world are going to collaborate to fight against Yahushua and his army of angels when he returns. This demonstrates the blinding effect of the Way of HaSatan and the fact that mankind has not really changed all that much since the days of Nimrod. The conclusion is simply that sin makes one stupid.

Abraham Returns to Ur

  1. And in the fiftieth year of the life of Abram son of Terah, Abram came forth from the house of Noah, and went to his father's house.

  2. And Abram knew Yahuwah, and he went in his ways and instructions, and Yahuwah his Elohim was with him.

  3. And Terah his father was in those days, still captain of the host of king Nimrod, and he still followed strange elohim.

  4. And Abram came to his father's house and saw twelve elohim standing there in their temples, and the anger of Abram was kindled when he saw these images in his father's house.

  5. And Abram said, As Yahuwah liveth these images shall not remain in my father's house; so shall Yahuwah who created me do unto me if in three days' time I do not break them all.

The whole story is quite lengthy so I will condense it for the purpose of this study and only insert key verses; however, I do encourage everyone to read it for themselves.

The following is the discourse between Abram and his father Terah after Terah found out what he had done.

38. And he found Abram his son still sitting in the house; and he said to him, What is this work thou hast done to my elohim?

39. And Abram answered Terah his father and he said, Not so my lord, for I brought savory meat before them, and when I came nigh to them with the meat that they might eat, they all at once stretched forth their hands to eat before the great one had put forth his hand to eat.

40. And the large one saw their works that they did before him, and his anger was violently kindled against them, and he went and took the hatchet that was in the house and came to them and broke them all, and behold the hatchet is yet in his hand as thou seest.

41. And Terah's anger was kindled against his son Abram, when he spoke this; and Terah said to Abram his son in his anger, What is this tale that thou hast told? Thou speakest lies to me.

42. Is there in these gods spirit, soul or power to do all thou hast told me? Are they not wood and stone, and have I not myself made them, and canst thou speak such lies, saying that the large god that was with them smote them? It is thou that didst place the hatchet in his hands, and then sayest he smote them all.

43. And Abram answered his father and said to him, And how canst thou then serve these idols in whom there is no power to do any thing? Can those idols in which thou trustest deliver thee? can they hear thy prayers when thou callest upon them? can they deliver thee from the hands of thy enemies, or will they fight thy battles for thee against thy enemies, that thou shouldst serve wood and stone which can neither speak nor hear?

44. And now surely it is not good for thee nor for the sons of men that are connected with thee, to do these things; are you so silly, so foolish or so short of understanding that you will serve wood and stone, and do after this manner?

Abraham did keep his oath and destroyed all the vain images belonging to his father. Terah readily admitted that the images that he had made were useless but such is the way of man, always wanting to "tailor make” the gods whom they serve. His father was very angry with Abraham and reported his actions to King Nimrod without thinking about the consequences of his actions. After all, he had delivered to Nimrod the infant of one of his servants in place of Abraham to be murdered. Now he would have to come up with an excuse to explain why he had not done as the king ordered.

I was once doing some work for a Greek home builder and somehow we got into a discussion on religion. One comment he made was, “God did not make man, man made God”. I did not realize the truth of this statement until years later. This is precisely the foundation of all pagan religions. They make gods to suit their carnal desires.

Abraham was brought before the king and the following was his answer to the charges against him.

50. And Terah, seeing all that Abram had done, hastened to go from his house, and he went to the king and he came before Nimrod and stood before him, and he bowed down to the king; and the king said, What dost thou want?

51. And he said, I beseech thee my lord, to hear me--Now fifty years back a child was born to me, and thus has he done to my gods and thus has he spoken; and now therefore, my lord and king, send for him that he may come before thee, and judge him according to the law, that we may be delivered from his evil.

52. And the king sent three men of his servants, and they went and brought Abram before the king. And Nimrod and all his princes and servants were that day sitting before him, and Terah sat also before them.

53. And the king said to Abram, What is this that thou hast done to thy father and to his gods? And Abram answered the king in the words that he spoke to his father, and he said, The large elohim that was with them in the house did to them what thou hast heard.

54. And the king said to Abram, Had they power to speak and eat and do as thou hast said? And Abram answered the king, saying, And if there be no power in them why dost thou serve them and cause the sons of men to err through thy follies?

55. Dost thou imagine that they can deliver thee or do anything small or great, that thou shouldst serve them? And why wilt thou not sense the Elohim of the whole universe, who created thee and in whose power it is to kill and keep alive?

56. 0 foolish, simple, and ignorant king, woe unto thee forever.

Here is an example of one who feared no man, only the Creator Elohim. Here he was before the king of the entire earth (not that he was the rightful king) and he not only slams his religious beliefs, but calls him a fool, simple and ignorant. How’s that for getting off on the wrong foot? For all Nimrods power and authority, he was behaving like the biggest fool on the planet and leading all his subjects in his folly. The king consulted with his princes and wise men who recommended the following.

Jasher 12

5.And they all answered the king saying, The man who revileth the king should be hanged upon a tree; but having done all the things that he said, and having despised our elohim, he must therefore be burned to death, for this is the law in this matter.

  1. If it pleaseth the king to do this, let him order his servants to kindle a fire both night and day in thy brick furnace, and then we will cast this man into it. And the king did so, and he commanded his servants that they should prepare a fire for three days and three nights in the king's furnace, that is in Casdim; and the king ordered them to take Abram from prison and bring him out to be burned.

  2. And all the king's servants, princes, lords, governors, and judges, and all the inhabitants of the land, about nine hundred thousand men, stood opposite the furnace to see Abram.

  3. And all the women and little ones crowded upon the roofs and towers to see what was doing with Abram, and they all stood together at a distance; and there was not a man left that did not come on that day to behold the scene.

  4. And when Abram was come, the conjurors of the king and the sages saw Abram, and they cried out to the king, saying, Our sovereign lord, surely this is the man whom we know to have been the child at whose birth the great star swallowed the four stars, which we declared to the king now fifty years since.

  5. And behold now his father has also transgressed thy commands, and mocked thee by bringing thee another child, which thou didst kill.

  6. And when the king heard their words, he was exceedingly wroth, and he ordered Terah to be brought before him.

By his own foolishness, Terah exposed his crime. Now he had to do some fast talking to save his neck.

15. And the king said Who advised thee to this? Tell me, do not hide aught from me, and then thou shalt not die.

  1. And Terah was greatly terrified in the king's presence, and he said to the king, It was Haran my eldest son who advised me to this; and Haran was in those days that Abram was born, two and thirty years old.

  2. But Haran did not advise his father to anything, for Terah said this to the king in order to deliver his soul from the king, for he feared greatly; and the king said to Terah, Haran thy son who advised thee to this shall die through fire with Abram; for the sentence of death is upon him for having rebelled against the king's desire in doing this thing.

  3. And Haran at that time felt inclined to follow the ways of Abram, but he kept it within himself.

  4. And Haran said in his heart, Behold now the king has seized Abram on account of these things which Abram did, and it shall come to pass, that if Abram prevail over the king I will follow him, but if the king prevail I will go after the king.

Haran was what we would call today a “fence sitter”. He was inclined to follow Abram, but feared Nimrod over Yahuwah. In other words, he feared for his physical life over his spiritual. He decided he would wait to see the outcome of this dispute between Abram and Nimrod before he chose who to follow. This would prove to be a huge mistake.

21. And they brought them both, Abram and Haran his brother, to cast them into the fire; and all the inhabitants of the land and the king's servants and princes and all the women and little ones were there, standing that day over them.

22. And the king's servants took Abram and his brother, and they stripped them of all their clothes excepting their lower garments which were upon them.

23. And they bound their hands and feet with linen cords, and the servants of the king lifted them up and cast them both into the furnace.

24. And Yahuwah loved Abram and he had compassion over him, and Yahuwah came down and delivered Abram from the fire and he was not burned.

25. But all the cords with which they bound him were burned, while Abram remained and walked about in the fire.

26. And Haran died when they had cast him into the fire, and he was burned to ashes, for his heart was not perfect with Yahuwah; and those men who cast him into the fire, the flame of the fire spread over them, and they were burned, and twelve men of them died.

27. And Abram walked in the midst of the fire three days and three nights, and all the servants of the king saw him walking in the fire, and they came and told the king, saying, Behold we have seen Abram walking about in the midst of the fire, and even the lower garments which are upon him are not burned, but the cord with which he was bound is burned.

28. And when the king heard their words his heart fainted and he would not believe them; so he sent other faithful princes to see this matter, and they went and saw it and told it to the king; and the king rose to go and see it, and he saw Abram walking to and fro in the midst of the fire, and he saw Haran's body burned, and the king wondered greatly.

29. And the king ordered Abram to be taken out from the fire; and his servants approached to take him out and they could not, for the fire was round about and the flame ascending toward them from the furnace.

30. And the king's servants fled from it, and the king rebuked them, saying, Make haste and bring Abram out of the fire that you shall not die.

31. And the servants of the king again approached to bring Abram out, and the flames came upon them and burned their faces so that eight of them died.

32. And when the king saw that his servants could not approach the fire lest they should be burned, the king called to Abram, O servant of the Elohim who is in heaven, go forth from amidst the fire and come hither before me; and Abram hearkened to the voice of the king, and he went forth from the fire and came and stood before the king.

33. And when Abram came out the king and all his servants saw Abram coming before the king, with his lower garments upon him, for they were not burned, but the cord with which he was bound was burned.

This is an amazing story of courage and faith. It is difficult to believe that it is not included in the Torah account. When Abram was called to come out of the fire and present himself before the king, the king inquired how it was that he was not burnt. The following was Abram’s answer.

34. And the king said to Abram, How is it that thou wast not burned in the fire?

35. And Abram said to the king, The Elohim of heaven and earth in whom I trust and who has all in his power, he delivered me from the fire into which thou didst cast me.

36. And Haran the brother of Abram was burned to ashes, and they sought for his body, and they found it consumed.

37. And Haran was eighty-two years old when he died in the fire of Casdim. And the king, princes, and inhabitants of the land, seeing that Abram was delivered from the fire, they came and bowed down to Abram.

38. And Abram said to them, Do not bow down to me, but bow down to the Elohim of the world who made you, and serve him, and go in his ways for it is he who delivered me from out of this fire, and it is he who created the souls and spirits of all men, and formed man in his mother's womb, and brought him forth into the world, and it is he who will deliver those who trust in him from all pain.

39. And this thing seemed very wonderful in the eyes of the king and princes, that Abram was saved from the fire and that Haran was burned; and the king gave Abram many presents and he gave him his two head servants from the king's house; the name of one was Oni and the name of the other was Eliezer.

Nimrod and all his princes bowed down before Abram and sought to worship him but he stopped them and diverted all worship rightfully towards Yahuwah Elohim who created all things.

Abram remained in Ur for two more years. Then the king had a dream which the wise men and magicians once again interpreted as meaning that his rule would end by Abram’s hand and sought once more to kill Abram.

Jasher 12

57. Now therefore my king, surely thou knowest that it is now fifty-two years since thy sages saw this at the birth of Abram, and if my king will suffer Abram to live in the earth it will be to the injury of my lord and king, for all the days that Abram liveth neither thou nor thy kingdom will be established, for this was known formerly at his birth; and why will not my king slay him, that his evil may be kept from thee in latter days?

  1. And Nimrod hearkened to the voice of Anuki, and he sent some of his servants in secret to go and seize Abram, and bring him before the king to suffer death.

Thankfully, one of the two servants (Eliezer) that Nimrod gave to Abraham two years earlier had overheard the conversation between Nimrod and Anuki and warned Abraham to flee. And flee he did, back to the house of Noah. Of course Nimrod knew better than to seek Abraham in Noah’s house, as he was truly feared as the sole representative of Yahuwah on Earth. Now if Nimrod had of had any sense, he would have heeded Abraham’s instructions to return to the worship of Yahuwah, but he did not. Instead he chose to “kill the messenger”.

Jasher 13

4. And now therefore if thou wilt hearken to my voice and keep my commandments, my statutes and my laws, then will I cause thy enemies to fall before thee, and I will multiply thy seed like the stars of heaven, and I will send my blessing upon all the works of thy hands, and thou shalt lack nothing.

This is more proof that the commandments, statutes and laws existed from the creation of man and were for all men not just the Jews. They were never formerly spelt out like they were to Moshe and the children of Israel, but they obviously existed and were likely part of the instructions that Noah, Shem and Abraham gave to all who wanted to know Yahuwah. If these laws existed from creation, who was Emperor Constantine to say that they were done away with? Obviously Constantine was abusing his authority and power for his own agenda, as did Nimrod, which was to bring all his subjects under one form of religion. Clearly the laws of Yahuwah stand today as they did at the beginning of creation. NO MAN has the authority or the right to change the law or claim that it has been done away with. Any who do are anathema to the Creator Elohim.

In Jasher 14 there is a short discourse concerning burial of the dead that I want to bring to everyone’s attention.

Jasher 14

14. And he commanded them, saying, Thus saith the king, Strengthen yourselves and be valiant men, and let no man be buried here until two hundred pieces of silver be given, and then he may be buried; and those men did according to the order of Rikayon to the people of Egypt the whole of that year.

  1. And in eight months time Rikayon and his men gathered great riches of silver and gold, and Rikayon took a great quantity of horses and other animals, and he hired more men, and he gave them horses and they remained with him.

  2. And when the year came round, at the time the king went forth into the town, all the inhabitants of Egypt assembled together to speak to him concerning the work of Rikayon and his men.

  3. And the king went forth on the appointed day, and all the Egyptians came before him and cried unto him, saying,

  4. May the king live forever. What is this thing thou doest in the town to thy servants, not to suffer a dead body to be buried until so much silver and gold be given? Was there ever the like unto this done in the whole earth, from the days of former kings yea even from the days of Adam, unto this day, that the dead should not be buried only for a set price?

Since the creation of man it had been unthinkable to have to pay to bury a dead body. Today it is a huge money making business. We should be able to bury a dead body in any fashion they ask for. Today one can actually go to jail on charges of indignity to a dead body if you do not dispose of a body as prescribed by law. (So much for my Viking funeral).

In those days, the king of Egypt only made a public appearance once a year. When he did appear before the people, they all cried out to him about the injustice of Rikayon in charging them to bury their dead. The king was very angry and ordered that Rikayon be brought before him. Rikayon showed up with a thousand of his “children” and gave great gifts to the king. The king was overjoyed at the gifts and his anger turned to awe and respect. Following the king’s example, the people suddenly changed their attitude towards Rikayon from hatred to love and respect. The end result was that Rikayon became the first Pharaoh of Egypt and every king after him was also given that title.

This is a prime example of how emperor worship works. The people of Egypt had made the king their god and obeyed his every command; however, when it came to the true Elohim, who is only visible to the righteous, they couldn’t care less concerning His laws.

27 - And the king answered and said to Rikayon, Thy name shall no more be called Rikayon but Pharaoh shall be thy name, since thou didst exact a tax from the dead; and he called his name Pharaoh.

31- And Rikayon Pharaoh cunningly usurped the government of Egypt, and he exacted a tax from all the inhabitants of Egypt.

32 - And all the inhabitants of Egypt greatly loved Rikayon Pharaoh, and they made a decree to call every king that should reign over them and their seed in Egypt, Pharaoh.

33 - Therefore all the kings that reigned in Egypt from that time forward were called Pharaoh unto this day.

Isn’t that peculiar how the mind of society works? Here you have a criminal who robbed the people, bribed the king with riches and they loved him so much that they made him their king and joyfully paid taxes to him.

This puts me in mind of the huge business corporations today. They make huge contributions to both sides of those running for the highest office in the country (a form of bribery) and in return get repaid in political favours and changes to the law that favour their agendas, without any regard for the people. In such a manor they too “usurped the government”. The people are manipulated, brainwashed and deceived over and over again, and yet, they still do not comprehend what is happening to them. Many will consider it their “patriotic duty” to pay taxes and report anyone they know who does not pay their due diligence.

In the beginning it was not so. Man was intended to be independent. If Adam had not of sinned, this would be the way today also. There would have been no such thing as death and disease. Man was commanded in the beginning to multiply and care for the Earth. They would have had food in abundance, rain in due season and all the other blessings of Yahuwah. There would have been no need of a police force, military, walled cities and politicians. It truly would have been one planet under Yahuwah and peace would have been the norm, rather than the exception. Every family would have had their own plot of land and would have truly loved their neighbour as themselves. The burial of the dead would have been free as it should be. A few years back, I paid $10,000 to bury my father.

The following points to one more discrepancy between the Book of Jasher and the Torah.

Jasher 16

11 And Adonizedek king of Jerusalem, the same was Shem, went out with his men to meet Abram and his people, with bread and wine, and they remained together in the valley of Melech.

12 And Adonizedek blessed Abram, and Abram gave him a tenth from all that he had brought from the spoil of his enemies, for Adonizedek was a priest before Elohim.

Torah

Gen. 14:18 - And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the Most High Elohim.

19 - And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the Most High Elohim, possessor of heaven and earth:

20 - And blessed be the Most High Elohim, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

In the Book of Genesis as well as the book of Hebrews, it is made very clear that it was Melchizadek that met Abraham following his victory. No mention of Adonizedek is made until the Book of Joshua (chapter 10). Both titles are similar in meaning and apply to the same office, but the former applied to Shem, who was long dead by the time of Adonizedek. I am not sure of the reason for the change to this title, but they were definitely two different and distinct human beings. Shem was true to Yahuwah, but the Adonizedek of Joshua’s time was certainly hostile towards Yahuwah and His anointed people, Israel.

The following is a confirmation of the Shema.

Jasher 26

22 - And he commanded him saying, Dost thou not know and understand Yahuwah is Elohim in heaven and in earth, and there is no other beside him?

This statement is made numerous times throughout the Scriptures and the entire Hebrew faith is centered around it. Yet the lying ministers continue to espouse their ridiculous theories about a Trinity or a Binity of the “godhead”. Both theories come straight out of paganism, but the people blindly follow their blind leaders in these unrighteous doctrines. We will soon get into what Enoch has to say concerning the Messiah.

The Torah does not mention the demise of King Nimrod at all. The following is what the Book of Jasher has to say concerning it.

Jasher 27

1. And Esau at that time, after the death of Abraham, frequently went in the field to hunt.

2. And Nimrod king of Babel, the same was Amraphel, also frequently went with his mighty men to hunt in the field, and to walk about with his men in the cool of the day.

3. And Nimrod was observing Esau all the days, for a jealousy was formed in the heart of Nimrod against Esau all the days.

4. And on a certain day Esau went in the field to hunt, and he found Nimrod walking in the wilderness with his two men.

5. And all his mighty men and his people were with him in the wilderness, but they removed at a distance from him, and they went from him in different directions to hunt, and Esau concealed himself for Nimrod, and he lurked for him in the wilderness.

6. And Nimrod and his men that were with him did not know him, and Nimrod and his men frequently walked about in the field at the cool of the day, and to know where his men were hunting in the field.

7. And Nimrod and two of his men that were with him came to the place where they were, when Esau started suddenly from his lurking place, and drew his sword, and hastened and ran to Nimrod and cut off his head.

8. And Esau fought a desperate fight with the two men that were with Nimrod, and when they called out to him, Esau turned to them and smote them to death with his sword.

Other stories that I have heard concerning the death of Nimrod were, 1 – that he was killed by Shem and 2 – that he was gored by a wild boar. This is the only recorded account in either of the three books we are studying as to what actually happened to him.

15 And when Nimrod the son of Cush died, his men lifted him up and brought him in consternation, and buried him in his city, and all the days that Nimrod lived were two hundred and fifteen years and he died.

Here is another excerpt from Jasher that is not mentioned in the Torah.

18 At that time Isaac sent his younger son Jacob to the house of Shem and Eber, and he learned the instructions of Yahuwah, and Jacob remained in the house of Shem and Eber for thirty-two years, and Esau his brother did not go, for he was not willing to go, and he remained in his father's house in the land of Canaan.

Jasher 34

68 And with thy strong hand and outstretched arm deliver my sons and their servants from them, for power and might are in thy hands to do all this.

Both of these terms appear frequently throughout the Torah. Both apply to the pre-incarnate Messiah.

I have skipped over many chapters here that deal with the exploits of the sons of Jacob. They are well worth reading. The following is yet one more discrepancy between the Torah and the Book of Jasher concerning the Ark of the Covenant.

Jasher 56

13 Let not Levi carry with you, for he and his sons will carry the ark of the covenant of Yahuwah with the Israelites in the camp, neither let Joseph my son carry, for as a king so let his glory be; howbeit, Ephraim and Manasseh shall be in their stead.

The Ark of the Covenant is not mentioned in the Torah until the time of the exodus. Exodus 25, verses 10-16 gives the account of how Yahuwah instructed it to be built. If there had been a previous Ark of the Covenant, no mention is made of it in the Torah. Genesis 50 gives the account of Jacob’s burial, but no mention is made of the Ark of the Covenant. Neither does it mention that the descendants of Esau tried to prevent Joseph and the other sons of Israel from burying Jacob there.

50. And they came unto Kireath-arba, to the cave, and as they came Esau stood with his sons against Joseph and his brethren as a hindrance in the cave, saying, Jacob shall not be buried therein, for it belongeth to us and to our father.

51. And Joseph and his brethren heard the words of Esau's sons, and they were exceedingly wroth, and Joseph approached unto Esau, saying, What is this thing which they have spoken? surely my father Jacob bought it from thee for great riches after the death of Isaac, now five and twenty years ago, and also all the land of Canaan he bought from thee and from thy sons, and thy seed after thee.

52. And Jacob bought it for his sons and his seed after him for an inheritance forever, and why speakest thou these things this day?

53. And Esau answered, saying, Thou speakest falsely and utterest lies, for I sold not anything belonging to me in all this land, as thou sayest, neither did my brother Jacob buy aught belonging to me in this land.

Esau out and out lied to Joseph thinking that he did not witness the transaction and therefore could not prove that it took place. He did not know that Jacob had recorded the transaction and that the document was in Egypt. Jacob sent his brother Naphtali to go get the document; however, Esau did not want to wait for he knew he would be proven a liar. Instead he decided to do battle with the sons of Jacob. Big mistake!

60 And when Esau saw that Naphtali had gone to fetch the records, he and his sons increased their resistance against the cave, and Esau and all his people rose up against Joseph and his brethren to battle.

  1. And all the sons of Jacob and the people of Egypt fought with Esau and his men, and the sons of Esau and his people were smitten before the sons of Jacob, and the sons of Jacob slew of Esau's people forty men.

  2. And Chushim the son of Dan, the son of Jacob, was at that time with Jacob's sons, but he was about a hundred cubits distant from the place of battle, for he remained with the children of Jacob's sons by Jacob's bier to guard it.

  3. And Chushim was dumb and deaf, still he understood the voice of consternation amongst men.

  4. And he asked, saying, Why do you not bury the dead, and what is this great consternation? and they answered him the words of Esau and his sons; and he ran to Esau in the midst of the battle, and he slew Esau with a sword, and he cut off his head, and it sprang to a distance, and Esau fell amongst the people of the battle.

The book of Jasher then goes on in great detail concerning the exploit of the Israelites in Egypt and the later enslavement of them and all the hardships that they endured. After reading their exploits I had to wonder why they took so much abuse from the Egyptians. Two possible conclusions are that Yahuwah did not want them to or the Israelites had lost faith in their Elohim to guarantee them a victory.

One character mentioned in this section is Balaam the son of Beor. He is also mentioned in the Torah but not much background is given there.

Jasher 61

8. And amongst the servants of Angeas was a youth fifteen years old, Balaam the son of Beor was his name and the youth was very wise and understood the art of witchcraft.

9. And Angeas said unto Balaam, Conjure for us, I pray thee, with the witchcraft, that we may know who will prevail in this battle to which we are now proceeding.

10. And Balaam ordered that they should bring him wax, and he made thereof the likeness of chariots and horsemen representing the army of Angeas and the army of Egypt, and he put them in the cunningly prepared waters that he had for that purpose, and he took in his hand the boughs of myrtle trees, and he exercised his cunning, and he joined them over the water, and there appeared unto him in the water the resembling images of the hosts of Angeas falling before the resembling images of the Egyptians and the sons of Jacob.

11. And Balaam told this thing to Angeas, and Angeas despaired and did not arm himself to go down to Egypt to battle, and he remained in his city.

Also mentioned in this chapter is the existence of a creature we know as a centaur.

14 And it was one day that Zepho lost a young heifer, and he went to seek it, and he heard it lowing round about the mountain.

15 And Zepho went and he saw and behold there was a large cave at the bottom of the mountain, and there was a great stone there at the entrance of the cave, and Zepho split the stone and he came into the cave and he looked and behold, a large animal was devouring the ox; from the middle upward it resembled a man, and from the middle downward it resembled an animal, and Zepho rose up against the animal and slew it with his swords.

According to Dictionary.com a centaur is, “one of a race of monsters having the head, trunk, and arms of a man, and the body and legs of a horse.” Jasher does not clarify what sort of animal the bottom half was.

The following concerns a man named Job.

Jasher 66

15 And an officer, one of the king's counsellors, whose name was Job, from Mesopotamia, in the land of Uz, answered the king, saying,

  1. If it please the king, let him hear the counsel of his servant; and the king said unto him, Speak.

  2. And Job spoke before the king, the princes, and before all the elders of Egypt, saying,

  3. Behold the counsel of the king which he advised formerly respecting the labor of the children of Israel is very good, and you must not remove from them that labor forever.

  4. But this is the advice counselled by which you may lessen them, if it seems good to the king to afflict them.

  5. Behold we have feared war for a long time, and we said, When Israel becomes fruitful in the land, they will drive us from the land if a war should take place.

  6. If it please the king, let a royal decree go forth, and let it be written in the laws of Egypt which shall not be revoked, that every male child born to the Israelites, his blood shall be spilled upon the ground.

  7. And by your doing this, when all the male children of Israel shall have died, the evil of their wars will cease; let the king do so and send for all the Hebrew midwives and order them in this matter to execute it; so the thing pleased the king and the princes, and the king did according to the word of Job.

Job 1:1 - There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared Elohim, and eschewed evil.

2 - And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.

3 - His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

It is hard to believe that these two books are talking about the same person. Is it just a coincidence that both have the same name and come from the land of Uz? The Job of Jasher certainly does not seem as righteous as the Job from the book of the same name in Scriptures. In fact he seems quite the opposite.

Moshe

Jasher 67

18 And Balaam the son of Beor answered the king and said unto him, This means nothing else but a great evil that will spring up against Egypt in the latter days.

19 For a son will be born to Israel who will destroy all Egypt and its inhabitants, and bring forth the Israelites from Egypt with a mighty hand.

20 Now therefore, O king, take counsel upon this matter, that you may destroy the hope of the children of Israel and their expectation, before this evil arise against Egypt.

The following occurred after the Pharaoh decreed that all male children born to the Israelites were to be cast into the river (to drown).

54. And from that day forward, when the time of delivery arrived to those women of Israel who had remained with their husbands, they went to the field to bring forth there, and they brought forth in the field, and left their children upon the field and returned home.

55. And Yahuwah who had sworn to their ancestors to multiply them, sent one of his ministering angels which are in heaven to wash each child in water, to anoint and swathe it and to put into its hands two smooth stones from one of which it sucked milk and from the other honey, and he caused its hair to grow to its knees, by which it might cover itself; to comfort it and to cleave to it, through his compassion for it.

56. And when Elohim had compassion over them and had desired to multiply them upon the face of the land, he ordered his earth to receive them to be preserved therein till the time of their growing up, after which the earth opened its mouth and vomited them forth and they sprouted forth from the city like the herb of the earth, and the grass of the forest, and they returned each to his family and to his father's house, and they remained with them.

57. And the babes of the children of Israel were upon the earth like the herb of the field, through Elohim 's grace to them.

58. And when all the Egyptians saw this thing, they went forth, each to his field with his yoke of oxen and his ploughshare, and they ploughed it up as one ploughs the earth at seed time.

59. And when they ploughed they were unable to hurt the infants of the children of Israel, so the people increased and waxed exceedingly.

60. And Pharaoh ordered his officers daily to go to Goshen to seek for the babes of the children of Israel.

61. And when they had sought and found one, they took it from its mother's bosom by force, and threw it into the river, but the female child they left with its mother; thus did the Egyptians do to the Israelites all the days.

I know, this sounds a little fairy-tailish, but then so do most of the miracles of Yahuwah, so who can say. The only part the Scriptures mention is the command of the Pharaoh to cast the new born males into the river.

Jasher 68

  1. And it was at that time the spirit of God was upon Miriam the daughter of Amram the sister of Aaron, and she went forth and prophesied about the house, saying, Behold a son will be born unto us from my father and mother this time, and he will save Israel from the hands of Egypt.

  2. And when Amram heard the words of his daughter, he went and took his wife back to the house, after he had driven her away at the time when Pharaoh ordered every male child of the house of Jacob to be thrown into the water.

  3. So Amram took Jochebed his wife, three years after he had driven her away, and he came to her and she conceived.

  4. And at the end of seven months from her conception she brought forth a son, and the whole house was filled with great light as of the light of the sun and moon at the time of their shining.

  5. And when the woman saw the child that it was good and pleasing to the sight, she hid it for three months in an inner room.

At the time, because of the command of the Pharaoh for the Israelites to slay all male children born to them, many of the men of Israel separated themselves from their wives so that they would not become pregnant and therefore they would not have to slay their children. However, when Amram heard the words of his daughter, he knew that her vision was of Yahuwah and he returned to his wife so that she might conceive this child of whom others had also prophesied. Here we also see that Moshe was born 2 months prematurely, perhaps so that his mother did not show too much and give away the fact that she was pregnant. I suspect that where it talks about the house being filled with great light at his birth; this was either the Shekinah glory filling the house, or, like with Noah, this child’s face also shone like the sun.

24 And at the end of two years, when the child grew up, she brought him to the daughter of Pharaoh, and he was unto her as a son, and she called his name Moses, for she said, Because I drew him out of the water.

25 And Amram his father called his name Chabar, for he said, It was for him that he associated with his wife whom he had turned away.

26. And Jochebed his mother called his name Jekuthiel, Because, she said, I have hoped for him to the Almighty, and God restored him unto me.

27. And Miriam his sister called him Jered, for she descended after him to the river to know what his end would be.

28. And Aaron his brother called his name Abi Zanuch, saying, My father left my mother and returned to her on his account.

29. And Kehath the father of Amram called his name Abigdor, because on his account did God repair the breach of the house of Jacob, that they could no longer throw their male children into the water.

30. And their nurse called him Abi Socho, saying, In his tabernacle was he hidden for three months, on account of the children of Ham.

31. And all Israel called his name Shemaiah, son of Nethanel, for they said, In his days has God heard their cries and rescued them from their oppressors.

This must have been quite confusing having so many different names. I wonder why the Scriptures stuck with his Egyptian name? I kind of like the name “Shemaiah” best. It was likely originally spelt Shamayah. The Shema, of course is at the core of the Hebrew faith glorifying Yahuwah as the only true Creator Elohim. “Yah” of course is the abbreviated form of the name, Yahuwah.

Apparently the young Moshe had at one point snatched the crown from the head of Pharaoh and put it on his own head. Pharaoh had called all his wise men together to find out what this meant. They all interpreted the action as a sign that the child would grow up and usurp Pharaoh. They all recommended that he be put to death. However, Yahuwah had sent one of his angels among them also and he recommended a different course of action.

20 - And Balaam said to the king, Let us moreover call for all the judges of Egypt and the wise men thereof, and let us know if the judgment of death is due to this boy as thou didst say, and then we will slay him.

21 - And Pharaoh sent and called for all the wise men of Egypt and they came before the king, and an angel of Yahuwah came amongst them, and he was like one of the wise men of Egypt.

22 - And the king said to the wise men, Surely you have heard what this Hebrew boy who is in the house has done, and thus has Balaam judged in the matter.

23 - Now judge you also and see what is due to the boy for the act he has committed.

24 - And the angel, who seemed like one of the wise men of Pharaoh, answered and said as follows, before all the wise men of Egypt and before the king and the princes:

25 - If it please the king let the king send for men who shall bring before him an onyx stone and a coal of fire, and place them before the child, and if the child shall stretch forth his hand and take the onyx stone, then shall we know that with wisdom has the youth done all that he has done, and we must slay him.

26 - But if he stretch forth his hand upon the coal, then shall we know that it was not with knowledge that he did this thing, and he shall live.

27 - And the thing seemed good in the eyes of the king and the princes, so the king did according to the word of the angel of Yahuwah.

28 - And the king ordered the onyx stone and coal to be brought and placed before Moses.

29 - And they placed the boy before them, and the lad endeavored to stretch forth his hand to the onyx stone, but the angel of Yahuwah took his hand and placed it upon the coal, and the coal became extinguished in his hand, and he lifted it up and put it into his mouth, and burned part of his lips and part of his tongue, and he became heavy in mouth and tongue.

30 - And when the king and princes saw this, they knew that Moses had not acted with wisdom in taking off the crown from the king's head.

31- So the king and princes refrained from slaying the child, so Moses remained in Pharaoh's house, growing up, and Yahuwah was with him.

Well, now we know what sort of speech impediment Moshe had and the cause of it.

33 And when Moses grew up in the king's house, Bathia the daughter of Pharaoh considered him as a son, and all the household of Pharaoh honored him, and all the men of Egypt were afraid of him.

34. And he daily went forth and came into the land of Goshen, where his brethren the children of Israel were, and Moses saw them daily in shortness of breath and hard labor.

  1. And Moses asked them, saying, Wherefore is this labor meted out unto you day by day?

  2. And they told him all that had befallen them, and all the injunctions which Pharaoh had put upon them before his birth.

  3. And they told him all the counsels which Balaam the son of Beor had counselled against them, and what he had also counselled against him in order to slay him when he had taken the king's crown from off his head.

  4. And when Moses heard these things his anger was kindled against Balaam, and he sought to kill him, and he was in ambush for him day by day.

  5. And Balaam was afraid of Moses, and he and his two sons rose up and went forth from Egypt, and they fled and delivered their souls and betook themselves to the land of Cush to Kikianus, king of Cush.

  6. And Moses was in the king's house going out and coming in, Yahuwah gave him favor in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants, and in the eyes of all the people of Egypt, and they loved Moses exceedingly.

It looks like all of Balaam’s false prophesies did an about face and bit him in the backside. None of this is in the Torah either. I did pass over other references to Balaam as well, but I am thinking to do a separate study on him later.

51 And Moses became great in the eyes of all the Egyptians, and in the eyes of all the children of Israel, seeking good for his people Israel and speaking words of peace regarding them to the king.

Nothing is mentioned in the Torah concerning Moshe advocating for his people before the Pharaoh previous to his flight from Egypt.

Jasher 71

  1. And when Moses was eighteen years old, he desired to see his father and mother and he went to them to Goshen, and when Moses had come near Goshen, he came to the place where the children of Israel were engaged in work, and he observed their burdens, and he saw an Egyptian smiting one of his Hebrew brethren.

  2. And when the man who was beaten saw Moses he ran to him for help, for the man Moses was greatly respected in the house of Pharaoh, and he said to him, My lord attend to me, this Egyptian came to my house in the night, bound me, and came to my wife in my presence, and now he seeks to take my life away.

  3. And when Moses heard this wicked thing, his anger was kindled against the Egyptian, and he turned this way and the other, and when he saw there was no man there he smote the Egyptian and hid him in the sand, and delivered the Hebrew from the hand of him that smote him.

We are told Moshe’s age at the time of this incident and, also, the fact that this Egyptian did not only beat the Hebrew man, but that he had gone to the man’s house the night before, tied him up, made him watch as he raped his wife and was now bent on murdering him. So this was more than just a simple beating to make him work harder.

4. And the Hebrew went to his house, and Moses returned to his home, and went forth and came back to the king's house.

  1. And when the man had returned home, he thought of repudiating his wife, for it was not right in the house of Jacob, for any man to come to his wife after she had been defiled.

  2. And the woman went and told her brothers, and the woman's brothers sought to slay him, and he fled to his house and escaped.

Following his salvation from certain death, the Hebrew man returned home and sought to do evil towards his wife – wanting to divorce her, even though she was raped and did not commit adultery. It sounds a lot like what is practiced in some Muslim countries today, only they don’t divorce their wives, they kill them, as they do with their daughters also. He was clearly a witness to the rape, so he had no excuse for his actions. Thank Yahuwah for the women’s rights we have in our Western nations.

9. And Pharaoh heard of this affair, and he ordered Moses to be slain, so Elohim sent his angel, and he appeared unto Pharaoh in the likeness of a captain of the guard.

10. And the angel of Yahuwah took the sword from the hand of the captain of the guard, and took his head off with it, for the likeness of the captain of the guard was turned into the likeness of Moses.

  1. And the angel of Yahuwah took hold of the right hand of Moses, and brought him forth from Egypt, and placed him from without the borders of Egypt, a distance of forty days' journey.

We are not told of this event in the Torah either. It seems that angels can be pretty tricky when they want to be. He made himself appear as the captain of the guard and the captain of the guard appeared as Moshe.

Jasher 72

22 And Moses was eighteen years old when he fled from Egypt from the presence of Pharaoh, and he fled and escaped to the camp of Kikianus, which at that time was besieging Cush.

23. And Moses was nine years in the camp of Kikianus king of Cush, all the time that they were besieging Cush, and Moses went out and came in with them.

  1. And the king and princes and all the fighting men loved Moses, for he was great and worthy, his stature was like a noble lion, his face was like the sun, and his strength was like that of a lion, and he was counsellor to the king.

  2. And at the end of nine years, Kikianus was seized with a mortal disease, and his illness prevailed over him, and he died on the seventh day.

34. And they wished to choose on that day a man for king from the army of Kikianus, and they found no object of their choice like Moses to reign over them.

  1. And they hastened and stripped off each man his garments and cast them upon the ground, and they made a great heap and placed Moses thereon.

  2. And they rose up and blew with trumpets and called out before him, and said, May the king live, may the king live!

Jasher 73

5. Moses was twenty-seven years old when he began to reign over Cush, and forty years did he reign.

The Torah gives the impression that Moses went immediately to the land of Midian, took a wife and began a family. No mention is made anywhere concerning him becoming a king over these people and serving them for 40 years, plus the 9 years he was with them before his coronation.

28 And Balaam the magician, when he saw that the city was taken, he opened the gate and he and his two sons and eight brothers fled and returned to Egypt to Pharaoh king of Egypt.

29 They are the sorcerers and magicians who are mentioned in the book of the law, standing against Moses when Yahuwah brought the plagues upon Egypt.

30 So Moses took the city by his wisdom, and the children of Cush placed him on the throne instead of Kikianus king of Cush.

31 And they placed the royal crown upon his head, and they gave him for a wife Adoniah the Cushite queen, wife of Kikianus.

32 And Moses feared Yahuwah Elohim of his fathers, so that he came not to her, nor did he turn his eyes to her.

33 For Moses remembered how Abraham had made his servant Eliezer swear, saying unto him, Thou shalt not take a woman from the daughters of Canaan for my son Isaac.

The following is the reason why none of the seed of Abraham were allowed to choose wives from the Canaanites.

35. For Yahuwah our Elohim gave Ham the son of Noah, and his children and all his seed, as slaves to the children of Shem and to the children of Japheth, and unto their seed after them for slaves, forever.

Genesis 9:20 - And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:

21 - And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.

22 - And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.

23 - And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father’s nakedness.

24 - And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.

25 - And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.

26 - And he said, Blessed be Yahuwah Elohim of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

27 - Elohim shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.

The implication here is that because Ham gazed upon his father’s nakedness and did not cover him. Some believe that Ham may have even committed some sort of homosexual act on his father or gazed upon him with homosexual lust. Yahuwah cursed his youngest son, Canaan, because of his father’s sin. Therefore, were the sons of Ham cursed through Canaan’s line.

Also included in the Book of Jasher is the story of the first group of Israelites to try to leave Egypt before the allotted time that Yahuwah had determined for them to remain there.

Jasher 75

  1. At that time, in the hundred and eightieth year of the Israelites going down into Egypt, there went forth from Egypt valiant men, thirty thousand on foot, from the children of Israel, who were all of the tribe of Joseph, of the children of Ephraim the son of Joseph.

  2. For they said the period was completed which Yahuwah had appointed to the children of Israel in the times of old, which he had spoken to Abraham.

  3. And these men girded themselves, and they put each man his sword at his side, and every man his armor upon him, and they trusted to their strength, and they went out together from Egypt with a mighty hand.

  4. But they brought no provision for the road, only silver and gold, not even bread for that day did they bring in their hands, for they thought of getting their provision for pay from the Philistines, and if not they would take it by force.

  5. And these men were very mighty and valiant men, one man could pursue a thousand and two could rout ten thousand, so they trusted to their strength and went together as they were.

These men did not consult Yahuwah in this matter, but trusted in their own strength, assuming that Yahuwah would be with them as in all the times before.

15. And these men were engaged in battle with the children of Ephraim, and Yahuwah delivered the children of Ephraim into the hands of the Philistines.

16. And they smote all the children of Ephraim, all who had gone forth from Egypt, none were remaining but ten men who had run away from the engagement.

  1. For this evil was from Yahuwah against the children of Ephraim, for they transgressed the word of Yahuwah in going forth from Egypt, before the period had arrived which Yahuwah in the days of old had appointed to Israel.

The following describes the end of Moshe’s rule over the children of Cush.

Jasher 76

  1. And Moses the son of Amram was still king in the land of Cush in those days, and he prospered in his kingdom, and he conducted the government of the children of Cush in justice, in righteousness, and integrity.

  2. And all the children of Cush loved Moses all the days that he reigned over them, and all the inhabitants of the land of Cush were greatly afraid of him.

  3. And in the fortieth year of the reign of Moses over Cush, Moses was sitting on the royal throne whilst Adoniah the queen was before him, and all the nobles were sitting around him.

  4. And Adoniah the queen said before the king and the princes, What is this thing which you, the children of Cush, have done for this long time?

  5. Surely you know that for forty years that this man has reigned over Cush he has not approached me, nor has he served the gods of the children of Cush.

  6. Now therefore hear, O ye children of Cush, and let this man no more reign over you as he is not of our flesh.

  7. Behold Menacrus my son is grown up, let him reign over you, for it is better for you to serve the son of your lord, than to serve a stranger, slave of the king of Egypt.

  8. And all the people and nobles of the children of Cush heard the words which Adoniah the queen had spoken in their ears.

  9. And all the people were preparing until the evening, and in the morning they rose up early and made Menacrus, son of Kikianus, king over them.

  10. And all the children of Cush were afraid to stretch forth their hand against Moses, for Yahuwah was with Moses, and the children of Cush remembered the oath which they swore unto Moses, therefore they did no harm to him.

  11. But the children of Cush gave many presents to Moses, and sent him from them with great honor.

  12. So Moses went forth from the land of Cush, and went home and ceased to reign over Cush, and Moses was sixty-six years old when he went out of the land of Cush, for the thing was from Yahuwah, for the period had arrived which he had appointed in the days of old, to bring forth Israel from the affliction of the children of Ham.

  13. So Moses went to Midian, for he was afraid to return to Egypt on account of Pharaoh, and he went and sat at a well of water in Midian.

Although the people of Cush had given Moshe one of their women (the wife of the former king) for a wife, he would not touch her, for the entire 40 years that he reigned there, because she was not of Israelite descent. Adoniah used this fact, plus the fact that Moshe refused to worship their false gods, to encourage the people of Cush to dethrone Moshe and place Adoniah’s son on the throne. This is perhaps the only recorded time that the subjects of the king did not follow his system of worship. However, they were afraid to do any harm to Moshe because they knew Yahuwah was with him. I find it curious that even though they recognized the fact that Yahuwah was so much greater than their own gods, they did nothing to learn the ways of Yahuwah. On the other hand, perhaps it was Yahuwah that did not want them to know Him. So, they merely sent Moshe away with great riches and he travelled on to the land of the Midianites. The report in Exodus differs somewhat from that of Jasher.

Exodus 2:15 - Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.

16 - Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock.

17 - And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.

18 - And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?

19 - And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.

20 - And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that ye have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.

21 - And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.

22 - And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.

Jasher 76

17 And they came home to their father Reuel, and told him what Moses did for them.

18. And they said, An Egyptian man has delivered us from the hands of the shepherds, he drew up water for us and watered the flock.

  1. And Reuel said to his daughters, And where is he? wherefore have you left the man?

  2. And Reuel sent for him and fetched him and brought him home, and he ate bread with him.

  3. And Moses related to Reuel that he had fled from Egypt and that he reigned forty years over Cush, and that they afterward had taken the government from him, and had sent him away in peace with honor and with presents.

  4. And when Reuel had heard the words of Moses, Reuel said within himself, I will put this man into the prison house, whereby I shall conciliate the children of Cush, for he has fled from them.

  5. And they took and put him into the prison house, and Moses was in prison ten years, and whilst Moses was in the prison house, Zipporah the daughter of Reuel took pity over him, and supported him with bread and water all the time.

Apparently it was the custom of the Midianites to cast people into the prison with no food so that they might die there.

Jasher 77

26. And Moses the son of Amram was still confined in the dungeon in those days, in the house of Reuel the Midianite, and Zipporah the daughter of Reuel did support him with food secretly day by day.

  1. And Moses was confined in the dungeon in the house of Reuel for ten years.

  2. And at the end of ten years which was the first year of the reign of Pharaoh over Egypt, in the place of his father,

  3. Zipporah said to her father Reuel, No person inquires or seeks after the Hebrew man, whom thou didst bind in prison now ten years.

  4. Now therefore, if it seem good in thy sight, let us send and see whether he is living or dead, but her father knew not that she had supported him.

  5. And Reuel her father answered and said to her, Has ever such a thing happened that a man should be shut up in a prison without food for ten years, and that he should live?

  6. And Zipporah answered her father, saying, Surely thou hast heard that the Elohim of the Hebrews is great and awful, and does wonders for them at all times.

  7. He it was who delivered Abraham from Ur of the Chaldeans, and Isaac from the sword of his father, and Jacob from the angel of Yahuwah who wrestled with him at the ford of Jabbuk.

  8. Also with this man has he done many things, he delivered him from the river in Egypt and from the sword of Pharaoh, and from the children of Cush, so also can he deliver him from famine and make him live.

  9. And the thing seemed good in the sight of Reuel, and he did according to the word of his daughter, and sent to the dungeon to ascertain what became of Moses.

  10. And he saw, and behold the man Moses was living in the dungeon, standing upon his feet, praising and praying to the God of his ancestors.

  11. And Reuel commanded Moses to be brought out of the dungeon, so they shaved him and he changed his prison garments and ate bread.

Meanwhile, back in Egypt, the Pharaoh who sought to kill Moshe had died and one of his sons ruled in his place.

Jasher 76

52. And Othri the first born of the king was an idiot, precipitate and hurried in his words.

  1. But Adikam was a cunning and wise man and knowing in all the wisdom of Egypt, but of unseemly aspect, thick in flesh, and very short in stature; his height was one cubit.

  2. And when the king saw Adikam his son intelligent and wise in all things, the king resolved that he should be king in his stead after his death.

Jasher 77

6. And Adikam was exceedingly ugly, and he was a cubit and a span and he had a great beard which reached to the soles of his feet.

This was the same Pharaoh that Moshe confronted when he returned to Egypt. A cubit and a span would be approximately 3 ½ feet or 42 inches.

The following is concerning the stick or staff that Moshe held in his hand when appeared before the Pharaoh.

Jasher 77

77. And afterward Moses went into the garden of Reuel which was behind the house, and he there prayed to Yahuwah his Elohim, who had done mighty wonders for him.

78. And it was that whilst he prayed he looked opposite to him, and behold a sapphire stick was placed in the ground, which was planted in the midst of the garden.

  1. And he approached the stick and he looked, and behold the name of Yahuwah Elohim of hosts was engraved thereon, written and developed upon the stick.

  2. And he read it and stretched forth his hand and he plucked it like a forest tree from the thicket, and the stick was in his hand.

  3. And this is the stick with which all the works of our Elohim were performed, after he had created heaven and earth, and all the host of them, seas, rivers and all their fishes.

  4. And when Elohim had driven Adam from the garden of Eden, he took the stick in his hand and went and tilled the ground from which he was taken.

  5. And the stick came down to Noah and was given to Shem and his descendants, until it came into the hand of Abraham the Hebrew.

  6. And when Abraham had given all he had to his son Isaac, he also gave to him this stick.

  7. And when Jacob had fled to Padan-aram, he took it into his hand, and when he returned to his father he had not left it behind him.

  8. Also when he went down to Egypt he took it into his hand and gave it to Joseph, one portion above his brethren, for Jacob had taken it by force from his brother Esau.

  9. And after the death of Joseph, the nobles of Egypt came into the house of Joseph, and the stick came into the hand of Reuel the Midianite, and when he went out of Egypt, he took it in his hand and planted it in his garden.

  10. And all the mighty men of the Kinites tried to pluck it when they endeavored to get Zipporah his daughter, but they were unsuccessful.

  11. So that stick remained planted in the garden of Reuel, until he came who had a right to it and took it.

  12. And when Reuel saw the stick in the hand of Moses, he wondered at it, and he gave him his daughter Zipporah for a wife.

Here is another odd discrepancy that only appears in the Torah. The name of Moshe’s father-in-law is first known as Reuel.

Ex. 2:18 - And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon to day?

Exodus 3:1 - Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of Elohim, even to Horeb.

No explanation is given for this change of names. The Book of Jasher; however, does not deviate from the name, Reuel. The answer is that the name Jethro is not a proper name, but rather a title given to the priests of Midian.

The following account is not mentioned in the Torah either. The following is an account of when Moshe and Aaron first went to the Pharaoh.

21. And when they came to the king's gate, two young lions were confined there with iron instruments, and no person went out or came in from before them, unless those whom the king ordered to come, when the conjurors came and withdrew the lions by their incantations, and this brought them to the king.

22. And Moses hastened and lifted up the stick upon the lions, and he loosed them, and Moses and Aaron came into the king's house.

23. The lions also came with them in joy, and they followed them and rejoiced as a dog rejoices over his master when he comes from the field.

  1. And when Pharaoh saw this thing he was astonished at it, and he was greatly terrified at the report, for their appearance was like the appearance of the children of Elohim.

No mention is made in the Torah of these lions. I have always thought that before Adam’s sin, he would have had such dominion over all the animal kingdom. There were no carnivores at the time. Lions ate hey like the cattle. It was as it is prophesied for the end, the lion will lay down with the lamb and a child will lead them.

Also, not mentioned in the Torah is the fact that both Moshe and Aaron bore the “appearance of the children of Elohim”, This is talking of angels, not men. So, both of their faces would have been shining like the sun.

Another discrepancy concerns the length of time between the first sign Moshe showed Pharaoh and the second sign.

Jasher 80

  1. And at the end of two years, Yahuwah again sent Moses to Pharaoh to bring forth the children of Israel, and to send them out of the land of Egypt.

Ex. 7:12 - For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.

13 - And he hardened Pharaoh’s heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as Yahuwah had said.

14 - And Yahuwah said unto Moses, Pharaoh’s heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go.

15 - Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river’s brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand.

The Torah has Moshe returning to the Pharaoh the next day and Jasher claims it was two years before he returned. A two year wait really does not make much sense to me.

19. And when the Egyptians hid themselves on account of the swarm of animals, they locked their doors after them, and Elohim ordered the Sulanuth which was in the sea, to come up and go into Egypt.

  1. And she had long arms, ten cubits in length of the cubit of a man.

  2. And she went upon the roofs and uncovered the raftering and flooring and cut them, and stretched forth her arm into the house and removed the lock and the bolt, and opened the houses of Egypt.

  3. Afterward came the swarm of animals into the houses of Egypt, and the swarm of animals destroyed the Egyptians, and it grieved them exceedingly.

From the description give, a Sulanuth is either an octopus or a squid. This plague is not mentioned in the Torah.

37 At that time died many of the people of Israel who had rebelled against Yahuwah and who would not hearken to Moses and Aaron, and believed not in them that Elohim had sent them.

  1. And who had said, We will not go forth from Egypt lest we perish with hunger in a desolate wilderness, and who would not hearken to the voice of Moses.

  2. And Yahuwah plagued them in the three days of darkness, and the Israelites buried them in those days, without the Egyptians knowing of them or rejoicing over them.

The Torah makes no mention of this incident.

6. And the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in the land of Egypt in hard labor, was two hundred and ten years.

  1. And at the end of two hundred and ten years, Yahuwah brought forth the children of Israel from Egypt with a strong hand.

It is commonly believed that the children of Israel were in Egypt for 400-430 years. I could not find a verse in the Torah that agrees with this estimate. If anyone knows the verse that confirms this please let me know.

Jasher 83

26 At that time the children of Israel continued their journey from the wilderness of Sinai, and they took a journey of three days, and the cloud rested upon the wilderness of Paran; there the anger of Yahuwah was kindled against Israel, for they had provoked Yahuwah in asking him for meat, that they might eat.

27. And Yahuwah hearkened to their voice, and gave them meat which they ate for one month.

  1. But after this the anger of Yahuwah was kindled against them, and he smote them with a great slaughter, and they were buried there in that place.

Ex. 16:35 – And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.

36 - Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah.

The only meat mentioned in the Torah is the Quail and I thought they received the quail forty years. However, Exodus 16 only mentions them receiving the manna for 40 years. Therefore, the account in Jasher may be quite true. If they wanted meat so bad, why didn’t they eat from the great abundance of their flocks? Perhaps it was their greed that angered Yahuwah so much, in not wanted to use up their own meat.

Jasher 84

15. And Sihon sent messengers to Beor the son of Janeas, the son of Balaam, counsellor to the king of Egypt, and to Balaam his son, to curse Moab, in order that it might be delivered into the hand of Sihon.

There were two Balaams. The original was the great grandfather of the latter. Both were magicians or false prophets. Today, those who preach for a pay cheque are no different than the false prophets spoken of here. In this case; however, the false prophet actually harkened to the voice of Yahuwah and refused to curse Israel, even for pay.

Jasher 85

52. And when the children of Israel abode in the plain of Shittim, they began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab.

Jasher does not mention that it was Balaam that came up with the plan to entice the men of Israel to mate with their women.

Jasher 86

  1. And the children of Israel warred against Midian, and they slew every male, also the five princes of Midian, and Balaam the son of Beor did they slay with the sword.

This was the younger Balaam, not the great grandfather.

Jasher 88

64 And Yahuwah hearkened to the voice of Joshua, and the sun stood still in the midst of the heavens, and it stood still six and thirty moments, and the moon also stood still and hastened not to go down a whole day.

65. And there was no day like that, before it or after it that Yahuwah hearkened to the voice of a man, for Yahuwah fought for Israel.

Joshua 10:12 - Then spake Joshua to Yahuwah in the day when Yahuwah delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.

13 - And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

14 - And there was no day like that before it or after it that Yahuwah hearkened unto the voice of a man: for Yahuwah fought for Israel.

Both Jasher and the Torah agree concerning this highly controversial event. The only difference seems to be the amount of time that the sun remained still. Jasher has it staying for six and thirty moments. I am not sure what they mean by a moment or if they are referring to the time that the sun began to stand still. In this report it sounds like only the moon stood still the whole day. However, since the Torah verifies the sun stood still the whole day (24 hours) I’m not sure what to make of Jasher’s report.

More from Enoch

The Book of Jasher only covers the events up until the death of Joshua (Yahushua), so, I have covered all significant comparisons/compliments from that book. Enoch only covers up until the time of the flood and I have basically covered all comparisons/compliments to the Torah as well. However, Enoch has much other information that is not covered by either of the other two books that is worth addressing, especially concerning the pre-incarnate Messiah and the fallen angels. Originally Enoch was written as one continuous story. I have no idea why those that broke it up into different chapters separated the verses the way they did (in the middle of a sentence) but I found it quite annoying.

Enoch declares that there were 200 fallen angels in all and reveals names the 20 leaders, each of which had 10 other angels under them.

Chapter 6

Later in the book, Enoch refers to these fallen angels as the satans (plural) as they were all adversaries. He names the leader as Semjaza. This could be the actual name of the one we have always know as the Devil or Satan. It was he who got the others to confirm a contract or covenant to be of one mind in this matter. You will notice that only 19 or the leaders are mentioned here. Later on he lists all 20. He gives us a time frame when this event occurred (in the days of Jared) as well as the location where they descended (Mount Hermon).

Parson’s Bible Dictionary

Hermon A PEAK, THE EASTERN PROLONGATION OF THE ANTI-LEBANON RANGE, REACHING TO THE HEIGHT OF ABOUT 9,200 FEET ABOVE THE MEDITERRANEAN. IT MARKS THE NORTH BOUNDARY OF PALESTINE (Deut. 3:8, 4:48; Josh. 11:3, 17; 13:11; 12:1), and is seen from a great distance. It is about 40 miles north of the Sea of Galilee. It is called “the Hermonites” (Ps. 42:6) because it has more than one summit. The Sidonians called it Sirion, and the Amorites Shenir (Deut. 3:9; Song 4:8). It is also called Baal-hermon (Judg. 3:3; 1 Chr. 5:23) and Sion (Deut. 4:48). There is every probability that one of its three summits was the scene of the transfiguration (q.v.). The “dew of Hermon” is referred to (Ps. 89:12). Its modern name is Jebel-esh-Sheikh, “the chief mountain.” It is one of the most conspicuous mountains in Palestine or Syria. “In whatever part of Palestine the Israelite turned his eye northward, Hermon was there, terminating the view. From the plain along the coast, from the Jordan valley, from the heights of Moab and Gilead, from the plateau of Bashan, the pale, blue, snow-capped cone forms the one feature in the northern horizon.” Our Lord and his disciples climbed this “high mountain apart” one day, and remained on its summit all night, “weary after their long and toilsome ascent.” During the night “he was transfigured before them; and his face did shine as the sun.” The next day they descended to Caesarea Philippi.

Jared DESCENT. (1.) The fourth antediluvian patriarch in descent from Seth (Gen. 5:15-20; Luke 3:37), the father of Enoch; called Jered in 1 Chr. 1:2. (2.) A son of Ezra probably (1 Chr. 4:18).

Chapter 8

And as men perished, they cried, and their cry went up to heaven . . .

Three of these fallen angels were not named previously among the leaders - Azazel, Araqiel and Shamsiel.

Chapter 9

Thou seest what Azazel hath done, who hath taught all unrighteousness on earth and revealed the eternal secrets which were (preserved) in heaven, which 7 men were striving to learn:

Chapter 10

And again Yahuwah said to Raphael: 'Bind Azazel hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening 5 in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may 6,7 not see light. And on the day of the great judgement he shall be cast into the fire.

Even though Azazel is singled out for this punishment, I do believe that the place where he was imprisoned is the infamous “bottomless pit” and where it is located.

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/1461896/posts

“In the Book of Enoch, we are told that as punishment for his sins, the fallen angel of war, Azazel, was thrown into a pit in the ‘Wilderness of Dudael,’ and left there to await Final Judgment. Although no one knows to where the name ‘Dudael’ refers, ‘Dudael’ also means ‘Great Desert’ and ‘Fiery Caldron.’ Furthermore, there is one place in Israel that fits that description: the Negev, which has one of its borders on…Gaza/Aza.

So how do places come by their names? Oftentimes, they are given names either relating to important people, events, history and the like. Is it mere coincidence that Gaza/Aza has the same name as one of the leaders of the fallen angels?”

Chapter 10

And the whole earth has been corrupted 9 through the works that were taught by Azazel: to him ascribe all sin.

Of all the fallen angels, all sin was ascribed to Azazel. This relates, of course, to the custom of the Israelites on the Day of Atonement of casting lots to choose between two goats, which was to be the Azazel goat that was released into the wilderness. Enoch describes the sin of Azazel back in Ch. 8;

This was all knowledge that Yahuwah did not want made known to man; some for obvious reasons (like the art of war) and other for less obvious reasons (like the workings of precious metals) which ultimately led to vanity and fornication (beautifying oneself to look more sexually alluring). Azazel is later named as the missing leader (of the above list).

Chapter 10

And to Gabriel said Yahuwah: 'Proceed against the bastards and the reprobates, and against the children of fornication: and destroy [the children of fornication and] the children of the Watchers from amongst men [and cause them to go forth]: send them one against the other that they may destroy each other in 10 battle: for length of days shall they not have. And no request that they (i.e. their fathers) make of thee shall be granted unto their fathers on their behalf; for they hope to live an eternal life, and 11 that each one of them will live five hundred years.' And Yahuwah said unto Michael: 'Go, bind Semjaza and his associates who have united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves 12 with them in all their uncleanness. And when their sons have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgement and of their consummation, till the judgement that is 13 for ever and ever is consummated. In those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire: and 14 to the torment and the prison in which they shall be confined for ever.

The Watchers were the angels who descended to Earth. Their offspring were given a limited existence of 500 years. The angels who corrupted the earth were sentenced to seventy generations “in the valleys of the earth” till “the day of their judgement and of their consummation”. By human standards (a generation = 30 years according to Encyclopedia.com) this would equal 2100 years; however, I see no significance to this figure since no precise beginning point is given where to start counting from. This must speak of the generations of men since the angels would not have generations. They obviously were individually created by Yahuwah through Yahushua, not procreated as we are.

Chapter 14

5 And from henceforth you shall not ascend into heaven unto all eternity, and in bonds of the earth the decree 6 has gone forth to bind you for all the days of the world.

“All the days of the world” I believe is referring to the six thousand years allotted to mankind to govern himself. However, Enoch later states in chapter 18:15-16; “And the stars which roll over the fire are they which have transgressed the commandment of Yahuwah in the beginning of 16 their rising, because they did not come forth at their appointed times. And He was wroth with them, and bound them till the time when their guilt should be consummated (even) for ten thousand years.”

Going back now to chapter 14, we have the account of Enoch’s vision of the throne of Yahuwah.

Enoch 14 - Vision of Throne

8 - And the vision was shown to me thus: Behold, in the vision clouds invited me and a mist summoned me, and the course of the stars and the lightnings sped and hastened me, and the winds in 9 the vision caused me to fly and lifted me upward, and bore me into heaven. And I went in till I drew nigh to a wall which is built of crystals and surrounded by tongues of fire: and it began to affright 10 me. And I went into the tongues of fire and drew nigh to a large house which was built of crystals: and the walls of the house were like a tesselated floor (made) of crystals, and its groundwork was 11 of crystal. Its ceiling was like the path of the stars and the lightnings, and between them were 12 fiery cherubim, and their heaven was (clear as) water. A flaming fire surrounded the walls, and its 13 portals blazed with fire. And I entered into that house, and it was hot as fire and cold as ice: there 14 were no delights of life therein: fear covered me, and trembling got hold upon me. And as I quaked 15 and trembled, I fell upon my face.

The first house Enoch is shown is that of the future imprisonment of the fallen angels. All that he saw and felt there terrified him.

And I beheld a vision, And lo! there was a second house, greater 16 than the former, and the entire portal stood open before me, and it was built of flames of fire. And in every respect it so excelled in splendour and magnificence and extent that I cannot describe to 17 you its splendour and its extent. And its floor was of fire, and above it were lightnings and the path 18 of the stars, and its ceiling also was flaming fire. And I looked and saw therein a lofty throne: its appearance was as crystal, and the wheels thereof as the shining sun, and there was the vision of 19 cherubim. And from underneath the throne came streams of flaming fire so that I could not look 20 thereon. And the Great Glory sat thereon, and His raiment shone more brightly than the sun and 21 was whiter than any snow. None of the angels could enter and could behold His face by reason 22 of the magnificence and glory and no flesh could behold Him. The flaming fire was round about Him, and a great fire stood before Him, and none around could draw nigh Him: ten thousand times 23 ten thousand (stood) before Him, yet He needed no counselor. And the most holy ones who were 24 nigh to Him did not leave by night nor depart from Him. And until then I had been prostrate on my face, trembling: and Yahuwah called me with His own mouth, and said to me: ' Come hither, 25 Enoch, and hear my word.' And one of the holy ones came to me and waked me, and He made me rise up and approach the door: and I bowed my face downwards.

Notice, “None of the angels could enter and could behold His face by reason of the magnificence and glory and no flesh could behold Him.” Not even the angels can behold or gaze upon the face of Yahuwah because of the magnificence of His great glory. I knew this fact where it concerns mankind, but did not know it applied the angels as well. His face is like looking directly into the sun. And, also, the flaming fire was round about Him, and a great fire stood before Him, and none around could draw nigh Him:” This is exactly how the Cabalists picture Yahuwah and the creation – by a dot within a circle. The dot represents Yahuwah the Creator of all things. He is all by himself, not two or three like the Trinitarians and Binitarians claim. He is ONE. There is NO OTHER like Him, before Him or beside him. Every other living being is part of the circle, i.e. the creation. Even Yahushua! A vision similar to this one was shown to the apostle John in Revelation 4.

Revelation 4:1 - After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

2 - And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

Again, only One sits on the throne unapproachable by any other living being, which means that every other living being IS of the creation.

3 - And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

4 - And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

These 24 elders must be the “most holy ones” talked about by Enoch. We are not given any information concerning what makes them stand out as being more holy than any of the other angels.

5 - And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of Elohim.

Neither are we given a clear explanation of whom or what the 7 spirits of Elohim are. It is my belief that they represent the 7 great archangels who both protect the righteous and punish the wicked here on Earth. It is commonly believed that they are represented by the seven candle menorah, which I have no argument with. Some teach that the center candle represents the pre-incarnate Messiah. However, I am going to present some of Enoch’s statements presently that may refute that teaching. No matter who they are, they are clearly separate and distinct from the One who sits on the throne. I am surprised that traditional Christianity does not use this verse to claim that Yahuwah is 7 beings in one. But then, the pagan doctrines which the Christian church “borrowed” always had only a triune godhead, which were the Father, mother (Queen of Heaven) and the son.

Again in Enoch 14 verse 23 we read, “yet He needed no counselor.” No other creature possesses the full wisdom and knowledge of Yahuwah; therefore, they are in no position to counsel Him. So that is definitely not the purpose of the twenty four elders or the 7 spirits of Elohim.

Revelation 5:1 - And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

2 - And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

3 - And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

There is a not-so-obvious time lapse here. Previous to Yahushua’s victory over death no one could approach the Father. However, now that Yahushua was victorious over death and the first of the entire creation to complete the plan of Yahuwah, he IS NOW able to approach the Father, thus being the Eternal High Priest between the rest of the creation and the Creator. Although he was the Firstborn of all the creation and always represented the power and the wisdom of Elohim, created the rest of the creation by that power and wisdom, he did not possess the nature of self existence until he was re-born into the new creation.

4 - And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

5 - And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Since his re-birth, Yahshua has been self-existent, like the Father; the only one of all creation to so far possess this quality and the only one allowed to step inside the circle and approach the Father. This is the plan of Yahuwah for all of His creation. We must follow in the Messiah’s footsteps so that one day, we too, will be reborn as self existent creatures and to be able to step inside that circle and approach the Father ourselves.

Verse 5 clearly reveals that it was ONLY because he PREVAILED that he was able to approach the Father (inside the circle), actually take the book from the Father’s hand and open the 7 seals. Why would the question even have been asked of him if he were not one of the creation? If he were part of a triune or biune godhead, this would have been an absurd question. The question is not asked of the Father, because His worthiness would have always been assumed. If Yahushua was always part of that same godhead, would his worthiness not have also always been assumed?

6 - And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of Elohim sent forth into all the earth.

Does this mean that Yahushua now has seven actual horns and seven eyes, or is it speaking figuratively of having the seven spirits or archangels working directly under him? In truth I do not have a clue, but it is interesting food for thought and I am sure we will find out the answer to that mystery when reborn into the Kingdom.

7 - And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

8 - And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

9 - And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to Elohim by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 - And hast made us unto our Elohim kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Who is singing this song here? The four beasts and the 24 elders are? They are proclaiming that the Lamb is worthy. Why is he worthy? He is worthy because he was the very first being of the creation to complete the plan of Yahuwah and to be reborn into the new creation as an entirely new self-existent being. He could not possibly become a new creature if he was not formerly a creature (product of the creation). Also, the 24 elders are declaring that Yahushua had at that time opened the door for them (the 24 elders) to become kings and priests reigning on Earth. This means that the victory of Yahushua opened the door to salvation to both the angels and mankind. That means that angels DO NOT have eternal life at this moment as is commonly assumed. They are awaiting the judgment just as we are.

Enoch 15 - Immortality of angels.

1 And He answered and said to me, and I heard His voice: 'Fear not, Enoch, thou righteous 2 man and scribe of righteousness: approach hither and hear my voice. And go, say to the Watchers of heaven, who have sent thee to intercede for them: "You should intercede" for men, and not men 3 for you: Wherefore have ye left the high, holy, and eternal heaven, and lain with women, and defiled yourselves with the daughters of men and taken to yourselves wives, and done like the children 4 of earth, and begotten giants (as your) sons? And though ye were holy, spiritual, living the eternal life, you have defiled yourselves with the blood of women, and have begotten (children) with the blood of flesh, and, as the children of men, have lusted after flesh and blood as those also do who die 5 and perish. Therefore have I given them wives also that they might impregnate them, and beget 6 children by them, that thus nothing might be wanting to them on earth. But you were formerly 7 spiritual, living the eternal life, and immortal for all generations of the world. And therefore I have not appointed wives for you; for as for the spiritual ones of the heaven, in heaven is their dwelling.

Here the fallen angels are asking Enoch to intercede between them and the Creator Yahuwah. Yahuwah tells Enoch to tell them, "You should intercede" for men, and not men 3 for you”. This was originally the purpose of these angels, to intercede for mankind before Yahuwah. Instead, they wanted to be like men, having wives to bare children unto them. They wanted power and for mankind to worship them in place of Yahuwah. These angels are the root of all pagan worship. They lived amongst men. They descended upon Mt. Herman. The Greek gods descended upon Mt. Olympus. Same story, different names. With Greek Mythology there are numerous stories of super beings that are half god and half human. The similarities are obvious.

Speaking of the fallen angels, Enoch declares that they were formerly spiritual, implicating that they were no longer spiritual. They were no longer living the eternal life. They would no longer live an immortal life, but had a limit set for their length of days. These terms – spiritual, eternal life and immortal; therefore, CANNOT mean the same thing as being self-existent, else why would the angels need to be judged? It is obvious that the angels, also, are awaiting rebirth into the new creation. They WERE living AS IF they had eternal life; however, Enoch later refers to them as having continuation of days. That obviously means that the length of their days was totally dependent upon the will of the Father and that they would not have to taste death before being reborn into the new Kingdom. On the day of their judgement, only the fallen angels will taste death. None can inherit the power of self existence while they are still corruptible, neither man nor angel. Once we PROVE ourselves incorruptible and gain self existence, there is no going back to corruptible. If it were possible, the whole universe would be in very big trouble.

Isaiah 14:10 - All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? art thou become like unto us?

11 - Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.

HaSatan has already been brought down to the earth (confined here), made weak as us (has been judged worthy of eternal death), will end his days in the grave and be covered in worms (the same as we are in death).

12 - How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13 - For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Elohim: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

14 - I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Again the author is saying that he will be brought to the grave as in death.

15 - They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

16 - That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

17 - All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every one in his own house.

18 - But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.

19 - Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

Clearly Ha Satan will be destroyed and trodden under the feet of the righteous. There will be no grave stone, no marker over his grave to remind anyone that he ever existed.

Ezekiel 28:11 - Moreover the word of Yahuwah came unto me, saying,

12 - Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith Yahuwah Elohim; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

13 - Thou hast been in Eden the garden of Elohim; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14 - Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of Elohim; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

Yahuwah originally anointed HaSatan over the earth and over mankind to guide man and teach mankind kind the Way of Yahuwah. Instead, he sought to overthrow Yahuwah and seize the earth for himself and have all of mankind worship him in place of Yahuwah.

15 - Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.

HaSatan was a created being. His position was created for him. Yet, because of his beauty and perfection, he became self deceived and mistakenly thought that he already was self-existent. He then deceived 1/3 of the angels and all of mankind also, that they already were self-existent. The main requirement for attaining self-existence is that we must be PROVEN to be incorruptible. Corruption CAN NOT inherit incorruption, or the state of self-existence. There must be NO POSSIBILITY that one can ever again become corrupt once they receive eternal life.

16 - By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of Elohim: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 - Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

18 - Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

19 - All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.

The four different phrases used here all mean the same thing.

1. I will destroy thee.

2. It shall devour thee.

3. I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth.

4. And never shall thou be anymore.

All mean one thing – the death and utter destruction of HaSatan – the same as with all who are unrighteous. If HaSatan can be destroyed, so can any of the angels who corrupt themselves and their office. All living beings, both angelic and human are under the same sword. All are awaiting eternal (self-existent) life. Yahushua also was under this sword. If he had failed in his mission and given into sin, he would remain in the grave to this very day. Instead he triumphed over death and was the first to be promoted to eternal, self-existent life. He is the first to become part of the inner circle with Yahuwah Elohim.

Enoch 18 – Location of the abyss

And I proceeded and saw a place which burns day and night, where there are seven mountains of magnificent stones, 7 three towards the east, and three towards the south. And as for those towards the east, was of coloured stone, and one of pearl, and one of jacinth, and those towards the south of red stone. 8 But the middle one reached to heaven like the throne of Elohim, of alabaster, and the summit of the 9,10 throne was of sapphire. And I saw a flaming fire. And beyond these mountains Is a region the end of the great earth: there the heavens were completed. And I saw a deep abyss, with columns of heavenly fire, and among them I saw columns of fire fall, which were beyond measure alike towards 12 the height and towards the depth. And beyond that abyss I saw a place which had no firmament of the heaven above, and no firmly founded earth beneath it: there was no water upon it, and no 13 birds, but it was a waste and horrible place. I saw there seven stars like great burning mountains, 14 and to me, when I inquired regarding them, The angel said: 'This place is the end of heaven and earth: this has become a prison for the stars and the host of heaven. And the stars which roll over the fire are they which have transgressed the commandment of Yahuwah in the beginning of 16 their rising, because they did not come forth at their appointed times. And He was wroth with them, and bound them till the time when their guilt should be consummated (even) for ten thousand years.'

This place sounds like it might be outside the earth’s atmosphere for he refers to it as “This is the end of heaven and earth”, and also that it had “no firmament of heaven above” (which would be the earth’s atmosphere) and “no firmly founded earth beneath it.” The columns of heavenly fire are not the type of fire that we know, but a spiritual type of fire like the flames of fire that hovered above the disciples on that first Day of Pentecost following the resurrection. It would seem that this type of fire can have multiple purposes. It is also noted here that these angels “transgressed the commandment of Yahuwah “in the beginning of 16 their rising”, because they did not come forth at their appointed times.” It would seem that they transgressed the commandments at a very early stage of their development and never realized the great potential that Yahuwah had in store for them – nor will they ever – just as with most of mankind.

The set time they are allotted to live is 10,000 years. Either the beginning of their internment occurred 3,000 years before the creation of man, or their day of judgement will not occur until 3,000 years after Yahuwah comes to dwell with mankind. We are at the end of the 6,000 years allotted to man and the beginning of the 7th millennium now.

Chapter 20

1,2 And these are the names of the holy angels who watch. Uriel, one of the holy angels, who is 3 over the world and over Tartarus. Raphael, one of the holy angels, who is over the spirits of men. 4,5 Raguel, one of the holy angels who takes vengeance on the world of the luminaries. Michael, one 6 of the holy angels, to wit, he that is set over the best part of mankind and over chaos. Saraqael, 7 one of the holy angels, who is set over the spirits, who sin in the spirit. Gabriel, one of the holy 8 angels, who is over Paradise and the serpents and the Cherubim. Remiel, one of the holy angels, whom God set over those who rise.

These are the seven chief angels over the earth and the sons of men. What puzzles me is the mention of Uriel being over the world and over Tartarus. Tartarus is a place out of Greek Mythology. I’ve always thought that such a place did not exist. Is it a mistranslation? Should it be “grave” instead?

Tartarus

The Oxford Dictionary of Phrase and Fable | 2006 | ELIZABETH KNOWLES | © The Oxford Dictionary of Phrase and Fable 2006, originally published by Oxford University Press 2006. (Hide copyright information) Copyright

Tartarus a part of the underworld where the wicked suffered punishment for their misdeeds, especially those such as Ixion and Tantalus who had committed some outrage against the gods.

You will also notice in the order that the names are mentioned that Michael is placed in the middle. In relationship to the menorah, he would be the center candle since the prophet Daniel refers to him as the great prince. He is “over the best part of mankind and over chaos.” This likely means that he is over the chosen of Yahuwah and chaos or confusion. Perhaps this means that he creates confusion in the minds of those who refuse to serve Yahuwah. Some Christian denominations teach that it is the Messiah that holds the center position of the menorah. This teaching is obviously erroneous.

Chapter 24

Enoch is then taken to a beautiful place where there are seven mountains, one of which is much taller than the rest and in the shape of a throne. There are fragrant trees surrounding this mountain and one in particular that Enoch delights in.

6 Then answered Michael, one of the holy and honoured angels who was with me, and was their leader.

One minute Uriel is the leader and the next, Michael is the leader. My only guess is that there are multiple princes amongst the angelic realm with different duties and different angels under them.

Chapter 25

1 And he said unto me: 'Enoch, why dost thou ask me regarding the fragrance of the tree, 2 and why dost thou wish to learn the truth?' Then I answered him saying: 'I wish to 3 know about everything, but especially about this tree.' And he answered saying: 'This high mountain which thou hast seen, whose summit is like the throne of Elohim, is His throne, where the Holy Great One, Yahuwah of Glory, the Eternal King, will sit, when He shall come down to visit 4 the earth with goodness. And as for this fragrant tree no mortal is permitted to touch it till the great judgement, when He shall take vengeance on all and bring (everything) to its consummation 5 forever. It shall then be given to the righteous and holy. Its fruit shall be for food to the elect: it shall be transplanted to the holy place, to the temple of Yahuwah, the Eternal King.

6 Then shall they rejoice with joy and be glad,

And into the holy place shall they enter;

And its fragrance shall be in their bones,

And they shall live a long life on earth,

Such as thy fathers lived:

And in their days shall no sorrow or plague

Or torment or calamity touch them.'

This passage confuses me somewhat. The life we are looking forward to is not that which our forefathers enjoyed, which, through their sins was eventually terminated by death. The righteous (sinless) will be the first to be resurrected – but their resurrection shall be to eternal spirit life, not as mortals. So, I am wondering if this could be talking of the millennial rule of HaMashiyack where the physical population that survives his return, will live lives as their forefathers did – almost one thousand years.

Another thing that brings me to this conclusion is that verse 5 mentions that the fragrant tree will be transplanted to the temple. In John’s account he mentions that there will be no temple following the final judgement.

Rev. 21:22 - And I saw no temple therein: for Yahuwah Elohim Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

Chapter 32

1 And after these fragrant odours, as I looked towards the north over the mountains I saw seven mountains full of choice nard and fragrant trees and cinnamon and pepper. 2 And thence I went over the summits of all these mountains, far towards the east of the earth, and passed above the Erythraean sea and went far from it, and passed over the angel Zotiel. And I came to the Garden of Righteousness, 3 and from afar off trees more numerous than these trees and great-two trees there, very great, beautiful, and glorious, and magnificent, and the tree of knowledge, whose holy fruit they eat and know great wisdom. 4 That tree is in height like the fir, and its leaves are like (those of) the Carob tree: and its fruit 5 is like the clusters of the vine, very beautiful: and the fragrance of the tree penetrates afar. Then 6 I said: 'How beautiful is the tree, and how attractive is its look!' Then Raphael the holy angel, who was with me, answered me and said: 'This is the tree of wisdom, of which thy father old (in years) and thy aged mother, who were before thee, have eaten, and they learnt wisdom and their eyes were opened, and they knew that they were naked and they were driven out of the garden.'

The two great trees mentioned here are, of course the tree of life and the tree of knowledge (of good and evil). The point of the two trees has always been that one must eat from the tree of life first, and afterward (with Yahuwah’s consent) from the tree of knowledge. Eternal life lies in faith and obedience to Yahuwah, not how much knowledge of the truth one might have. Eating of these trees in the improper order is what caused all the chaos and confusion that has devastated this earth for the past 6,000 years. If Adam and Eve had of eaten of the tree of life first, which they had open access to but did not eat, everything on the earth would have been much different afterward. Death, sickness, calamity and disease would have never been known. There would have been no need for kings and priests because every man, woman and child would have been righteous before Yahuwah. I believe that at the end of one thousand years we would have been simply changed into eternal living spirit beings and then had access to the tree of knowledge. That way we would have been able to correctly determine good from evil without question.

Enoch 37

Section 2 – The Parables

1 The second vision which he saw, the vision of wisdom -which Enoch the son of Jared, the son 2 of Mahalaleel, the son of Cainan, the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, saw. And this is the beginning of the words of wisdom which I lifted up my voice to speak and say to those which dwell on earth: Hear, ye men of old time, and see, ye that come after, the words of the Holy 3 One which I will speak before Yahuwah of Spirits. It were better to declare (them only) to the men of old time, but even from those that come after we will not withhold the beginning of wisdom. 4 Till the present day such wisdom has never been given by Yahuwah of Spirits as I have received according to my insight, according to the good pleasure of Yahuwah of Spirits by whom the lot of 5 eternal life has been given to me. Now three Parables were imparted to me, and I lifted up my voice and recounted them to those that dwell on the earth.

The words of wisdom that Enoch was given to speak, should have been spoken to the immediate children of Adam and Eve, but were withheld because of their parent’s sin. Instead it was spoken to Enoch, the seventh from Adam, because of his great faith in and obedience to Yahuwah. You have heard it said that sins of the father will be passed on to the sons of the third and fourth generation.

Gen. 4:26 - And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of Yahuwah.

If men did not call upon the name of Yahuwah until after the birth of Enos, that could mean that Enos, although born into sin, was the first to live a totally sinless life, and would have had to of been followed by Cainan, Mahalaleel and Jared for Enoch to have not had any sin attributed to him. He would have been the 2nd person in all of man’s history up until that time to have been born without sin; Adam being the first. Therefore, in is recorded in both the Torah and the Book of Jasher that Enoch escaped death. However, since the Scriptures declare that Yahushua was the firstborn of the new creation, Enoch could not have inherited eternal self-existence at that time; else he would have been the firstborn of the new creation. He had to have been given an angelic form of life (continual depending on the grace of Yahuwah) not the self-existent form of life that Yahushua alone (of all the creation) now enjoys. Enoch’s job, following his ascension from the earth, was to teach the fallen angels the true way of Yahuwah, which they should have been teaching to Enoch, not the other way around.

Chapter 38 of Enoch is the beginning of the first parable.

The first Parable

Chapter 38

When the congregation of the righteous shall appear,

And sinners shall be judged for their sins,

And shall be driven from the face of the earth:

2 And when the Righteous One shall appear before the eyes of the righteous,

Whose elect works hang upon Yahuwah of Spirits,

And light shall appear to the righteous and the elect who dwell on the earth,

Where then will be the dwelling of the sinners,

The “congregation of the righteous” will be those resurrected at the time of Yahushua’s return, along with the righteous that are still alive at that time. The Righteous One is, of course, Yahushua. He is the light who will appear to the righteous and the elect.

And where the resting-place of those who have denied Yahuwah of Spirits?

It had been good for them if they had not been born.

3 When the secrets of the righteous shall be revealed and the sinners judged,

And the godless driven from the presence of the righteous and elect,

4 From that time those that possess the earth shall no longer be powerful and exalted:

And they shall not be able to behold the face of the holy,

For Yahuwah of Spirits has caused His light to appear

On the face of the holy, righteous, and elect.

The “secrets of the righteous” are the same as the mysteries of Yahuwah, which have been withheld from the unrighteous. Their minds simply cannot fathom the truth of Yahuwah unless He visits upon them the spirit of truth, as he did with us. They may be very wise in their own minds and ways, but their wisdom is but foolishness to Yahuwah. They are both spiritually and mentally handicapped. They are spiritually blinded to the truth and knowledge of Yahuwah, yet they glory in their blindness and ignorance. Those throughout all time that truly sought after Yahuwah have learned only the truth and knowledge revealed to them from Yahuwah. He only gives us enough at one time as we can handle. He has His own good reasons and He knows us better than we know ourselves. It is in this manner and for this cause that we must learn patience.

At this future time, the unrighteous will not be able to behold (gaze upon) the faces of the righteous (those who follow our eldest brother, Yahushua) because our faces will shine as the sun, exactly like His does. Of course, that light ultimately comes from the Father.

5 Then shall the kings and the mighty perish

And be given into the hands of the righteous and holy.

6 And thenceforward none shall seek for themselves mercy from Yahuwah of Spirits

For their life is at an end.

It will be too late for the unrighteous at this time (those dwelling on the earth at HaMashiyack’s return), for their death has already been determined. They will have had an opportunity for the previous 3 ½ years to hear the teachings and warnings of the two end-time witnesses, and totally disregard and hate them for their words of condemnation and the cursings of correction that they bring upon the earth. Their pride will simply prevent them from following the path to repentance.

Chapter 39

1 [And it shall come to pass in those days that elect and holy children will descend from the 2 high heaven, and their seed will become one with the children of men. And in those days Enoch received books of zeal and wrath, and books of disquiet and expulsion.]

And mercy shall not be accorded to them, saith Yahuwah of Spirits.

3 And in those days a whirlwind carried me off from the earth,

And set me down at the end of the heavens.

4 And there I saw another vision, the dwelling-places of the holy,

And the resting-places of the righteous.

5 Here mine eyes saw their dwellings with His righteous angels,

And their resting-places with the holy.

And they petitioned and interceded and prayed for the children of men,

And righteousness flowed before them as water,

And mercy like dew upon the earth:

Thus it is amongst them for ever and ever.

Again, I am convinced that this is talking of the millennial rule of Yahushua. The holy ones of heaven will dwell with the holy ones of earth – all who survive and are converted during the great and awesome Day of Yahuwah.

6a And in that place mine eyes saw the Elect One of righteousness and of faith,

7a And I saw his dwelling-place under the wings of Yahuwah of Spirits.

6b And righteousness shall prevail in his days,

The “Elect One” is Yahushua. This term simply means that he was elected to his office. This could never be said of the Father because He has always been self-existent and there was no other to “elect” him to any office. Being said of the son, verifies that he was one (the beginning) of the creation. He was created for this purpose or office. He was also given the freedom of choice, but freely chose to follow in his Father’s footsteps. If he had failed to do so at anytime, he would have been counted among the unrighteous, and another would have to of been chosen, elected, etc. to take his place. This is how he became both the root (firstborn, seed of the creation) and the fruitful branch of the tree of life (since he was always faithful).

Verse 7a plainly states that his (the Son’s) dwelling place is “is under the wings of Yahuwah of Spirits”. The implication being that he was of the creation, and did not possess the power of self-existence from infinity. That glory belongs to the Father alone. It was not until Yahushua PROVED himself to be WORTHY of such an honour, unto death, that he was promoted to this glory and given the power of self-existence.

Hebrews 1:1 - Elohim, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2 - Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3 - Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; 4 - Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5 - For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6 - And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of Elohim worship him.

7 - And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

8 - But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O Elohim, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

9 - Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore Elohim, even thy Elohim, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

10 - And, Thou, Yahuwah, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

11 - They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

12 - But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

13 - Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

I cover all these verses in my article “Who Was/Is Yahushua”. The general gist is that if Yahushua were indeed part of a trine or biune “godhead”, why is he compared to other angels? He is a son like any other son – a bi-product of his Father. He earned his position and inherited all things. He was made so much better than the angels. If the Trinity theory were true, wouldn’t he have always been better than the angels? “And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of Elohim worship him.” If Yahushua were indeed one and the same as the Father, would not the angels have always worshipped him? “therefore Elohim, even thy Elohim, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.”

The Father is the Elohim of Yahushua, just as he is ours. Why would he have to be anointed above his fellows? Why are the other angels called his fellows if he were not himself an angel or, at least of the same substance as angels? Verse 12 again compares him to angels.

Enoch

And the righteous and elect shall be without number before Him for ever and ever.

7b And all the righteous and elect before Him shall be strong as fiery lights,

And their mouth shall be full of blessing,

The righteous, both of men and angels will dwell as one with Yahushua, the Firstborn of the new creation; and the Son will dwell “under the wings of Yahuwah of Spirits. Here again Yahushua is under not equal to the Father Yahuwah.

And their lips extol the name of Yahuwah of Spirits,

And righteousness before Him shall never fail,

[And uprightness shall never fail before Him.]

8 There I wished to dwell,

And my spirit longed for that dwelling-place:

To be born of the new creation there must be absolutely no chance that the elect can ever again become corrupted. Corruptibility must be completely rooted out of their nature before reaching that state. It is imperative that we become pure of mind, pure of thought, pure of heart, pure of speech, and pure of deed. We must leave no stone unturned in our quest for such purity.

And there heretofore hath been my portion,

For so has it been established concerning me before Yahuwah of Spirits.

9 In those days I praised and extolled the name of Yahuwah of Spirits with blessings and praises, because He hath destined me for blessing and glory according to the good pleasure of Yahuwah of 10 Spirits. For a long time my eyes regarded that place, and I blessed Him and praised Him, saying: 'Blessed is He, and may He be blessed from the beginning and for evermore. And before Him there is no ceasing. He knows before the world was created what is for ever and what will be from 12 generation unto generation. Those who sleep not bless Thee: they stand before Thy glory and bless, praise, and extol, saying: "Holy, holy, holy, is Yahuwah of Spirits: He filleth the earth with 3 spirits."' And here my eyes saw all those who sleep not: they stand before Him and bless and say: 'Blessed be Thou, and blessed be the name of Yahuwah for ever and ever.' And my face was changed; for I could no longer behold.

Just as when Moshe came down from Mt. Sinai with his face shining like the glory of Yahuwah, so was Enoch’s face changed. This is our goal. When our faces shin in this manner we will know that Yahuwah has confirmed that we are ready to be born into the new creation.

Chapter 40

1 And after that I saw thousands of thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand, I saw a multitude 2 beyond number and reckoning, who stood before Yahuwah of Spirits. And on the four sides of Yahuwah of Spirits I saw four presences, different from those that sleep not, and I learnt their names: for the angel that went with me made known to me their names, and showed me all the hidden things. 3 And I heard the voices of those four presences as they uttered praises before Yahuwah of glory. 4,5 The first voice blesses Yahuwah of Spirits for ever and ever. And the second voice I heard blessing 6 the Elect One and the elect ones who hang upon Yahuwah of Spirits. And the third voice I heard pray and intercede for those who dwell on the earth and supplicate in the name of Yahuwah of Spirits. 7 And I heard the fourth voice fending off the Satans and forbidding them to come before Yahuwah 8 of Spirits to accuse them who dwell on the earth. After that I asked the angel of peace who went with me, who showed me everything that is hidden: 'Who are these four presences which I have 9 seen and whose words I have heard and written down?' And he said to me: 'This first is Michael, the merciful and long-suffering: and the second, who is set over all the diseases and all the wounds of the children of men, is Raphael: and the third, who is set over all the powers, is Gabriel: and the fourth, who is set over the repentance unto hope of those who inherit eternal life, is named Phanuel.' 10 And these are the four angels of Yahuwah of Spirits and the four voices I heard in those days.

With so many angels one would wonder what all their jobs are. I am certain they do not sit around all day and do nothing. The Elect One is Yahushua. And the elect ones are the righteous angels and men. It makes one wonder how many angels there are? The Torah talks about that there were a third of the angels that followed HaSatan. Yet there were only 200 that left their heavenly domain and mated with the women of earth. What are the rest of the 1/3 doing?

In the 7th verse we read, “And I heard the fourth voice fending off the Satans and forbidding them to come before Yahuwah 8 of Spirits to accuse them who dwell on the earth.” The satans, the adversaries, are presented here in the plural sense. That means that the name Satan is not a personal name of just one being but a general name for all the angels who transgressed their domain.

In verse 9 we are given the names of the four main or chief angels over the earth. Michael is called the merciful and long suffering. Sounds a lot like Yahushua but then any following after Yahushua should be just like him.

Chapter 42

1 Wisdom found no place where she might dwell;

Then a dwelling-place was assigned her in the heavens.

2 Wisdom went forth to make her dwelling among the children of men,

And found no dwelling-place:

Wisdom returned to her place,

And took her seat among the angels.

Yahshua should have had his place with men from the beginning; however, mankind rejected him, so he returned to heaven and resumed his place with the righteous angels, leaving mankind with the “god” whom they chose over him, HaSatan.

3 And unrighteousness went forth from her chambers:

Whom she sought not she found,

And dwelt with them,

As rain in a desert

And dew on a thirsty land.

Here wisdom is spoken of in the same sense as in Proverbs 8. It seems like it is talking of a woman, but that is not necessarily so. In many languages certain words are given either a feminine or masculine tense. The word wisdom is simply given the feminine tense, but when translated into English which does not subscribe to this practice, it comes out sounding like it is talking of a woman.

In this parable it is basically saying that wisdom (Yahushua) came to earth looking for a place to dwell amongst mankind, but could find no dwelling place – meaning that mankind did not hold wisdom (Yahushua) in very high regard. Yet, when unrighteousness (HaSatan) came to earth seeking the same dwelling place, it readily found a dwelling place. Perhaps Proverbs explains it better.

Proverbs 8:1 - Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

2 - She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

3 - She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

4 - Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

5 - O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

6 - Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

7 - For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

8 - All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

9 - They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

10 - Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.

11 - For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

First comes knowledge and afterward comes wisdom. The knowledge and wisdom of Yahuwah should be and is the most valuable commodity on the face of the earth, but foolish man values material things such as gold and silver as being more valuable. That is why unrighteousness had no problem finding a home amongst men. They value the lie rather than the truth.

Enoch - Chapter 43

1 And I saw other lightnings and the stars of heaven, and I saw how He called them all by their 2 names and they hearkened unto Him. And I saw how they are weighed in a righteous balance according to their proportions of light: (I saw) the width of their spaces and the day of their appearing, and how their revolution produces lightning: and (I saw) their revolution according to the 3 number of the angels, and (how) they keep faith with each other. And I asked the angel who went 4 with me who showed me what was hidden: 'What are these?' And he said to me: ‘Yahuwah of Spirits hath showed thee their parabolic meaning (lit. 'their parable'): these are the names of the holy who dwell on the earth and believe in the name of Yahuwah of Spirits for ever and ever.'

The “lightnings” talked about are the spirits of the righteous in their new form. Rather than being referred to a stars as the angels are, they are referred to as lightnings.

Chapter 44

Also another phenomenon I saw in regard to the lightnings: how some of the stars arise and become lightnings and cannot part with their new form.

The meaning here is not completely clear to me, but we know that the stars represent angels and the lightnings represent the spirits of righteous men once they are born into the new creation. So, I believe it means that some of the angels will be joining the spirits of the righteous in the new creation and men and angles will be of the same form forever more – self-existent beings.

The Second Parable

Chapter 45

1 And this is the second Parable concerning those who deny the name of the dwelling of the holy ones and Yahuwah of Spirits.

2 And into the heaven they shall not ascend,

And on the earth they shall not come:

Such shall be the lot of the sinners

Who have denied the name of Yahuwah of Spirits,

Who are thus preserved for the day of suffering and tribulation.

3 On that day Mine Elect One shall sit on the throne of glory

And shall try their works,

And their places of rest shall be innumerable.

Yahushua is that Elect One. He has prevailed and earned the right to sit on his own throne of glory next to the Father. He will judge who makes it into the new creation. Since he was tasted what it is like to be flesh, he can have compassion on them. It is also quite clear here that we will be tried by our works in the judgement. How then can salvation not have anything to do with works, as the Christians claim?

And their souls shall grow strong within them when they see Mine Elect Ones,

And those who have called upon My glorious name:

4 Then will I cause Mine Elect One to dwell among them.

When we become the Elect Ones, our glory will be similar to that of Yahushua’s and he will dwell amongst us. This creation was made by and for him. His glory is the greatest of all the creation.

And I will transform the heaven and make it an eternal blessing and light

5 And I will transform the earth and make it a blessing:

And I will cause Mine elect ones to dwell upon it:

But the sinners and evil-doers shall not set foot thereon.

6 For I have provided and satisfied with peace My righteous ones

And have caused them to dwell before Me:

Only the elect and righteous ones will take their part in the new creation. They will be those who Yahuwah has chosen and called and who answered His call. They will be those who repented, were baptized, and who dedicated the rest of their lives to serving Yahuwah and Yahushua in truth, obedience to the law and dedication to seeking out and exposing all truth and all deception.

But for the sinners there is judgement impending with Me,

So that I shall destroy them from the face of the earth.

Chapter 46

1 And there I saw One who had a head of days,

And His head was white like wool,

And with Him was another being whose countenance had the appearance of a man,

And his face was full of graciousness, like one of the holy angels.

The One with the head of days is the Father. The other being with the Father had the countenance of a man and “his face was full of graciousness, like one of the holy angels”. Of course this is talking of Yahushua who is with the Father but is like one of the holy angels. He has been elected over the angels and been appointed to his position, yet he is clearly one of them as far as substance goes. At that point he had yet to be born of the new creation.

2 And I asked the angel who went with me and showed me all the hidden things, concerning that 3 Son of Man, who he was, and whence he was, (and) why he went with the Head of Days? And he answered and said unto me:

This is the son of Man who hath righteousness,

With whom dwelleth righteousness,

And who revealeth all the treasures of that which is hidden,

Yahushua possessed his righteousness before any of the rest of the creation was created. He possessed all wisdom and all knowledge before anything else was created. He was the only being to have been created directly by the Father. The rest of the creation was made by the Son. Yet at the same time, his form was as one of the angels and his countenance was that of a man, representing both the form that he was and the form that he was destined to become. He knows “all the treasures of that which is hidden”. That is the treasures of all knowledge and wisdom pertaining to the Father.

Because Yahuwah of Spirits hath chosen him,

And whose lot hath the pre-eminence before Yahuwah of Spirits in uprightness forever.

Yahuwah CHOSE Yahushua before He created him for this very special purpose. He trained him to fulfill this role for who knows how long. Time means nothing to them. He has the pre-eminence before Yahuwah and above every other creature.

4 And this Son of Man whom thou hast seen

Shall raise up the kings and the mighty from their seats,

[And the strong from their thrones]

And shall loosen the reins of the strong,

And break the teeth of the sinners.

Aside from the Father there is none greater than the Son. There is absolutely no doubt that he will end up victorious and will prevail.

5 [And he shall put down the kings from their thrones and kingdoms]

Because they do not extol and praise Him,

Nor humbly acknowledge whence the kingdom was bestowed upon them.

6 And he shall put down the countenance of the strong,

And shall fill them with shame.

The present day leaders will go to their eternal demise in shame and humiliation, while Yahushua triumphs and reigns supreme.

And darkness shall be their dwelling,

And worms shall be their bed,

And they shall have no hope of rising from their beds,

Because they do not extol the name of Yahuwah of Spirits.

There will be no chance of resurrection for these evil men. They will remain in the “bed” that they made for themselves (death) forever. Extolling or proclaiming the name of Yahuwah also seems to be a significant factor in our journey towards salvation. The name should not be hidden behind such terma as “the Lord” or “HaShem”, etc.

7 And these are they who judge the stars of heaven,

[And raise their hands against the Most High],

And tread upon the earth and dwell upon it.

And all their deeds manifest unrighteousness,

And their power rests upon their riches,

And their faith is in the gods which they have made with their hands,

And they deny the name of Yahuwah of Spirits,

8 And they persecute the houses of His congregations,

And the faithful who hang upon the name of Yahuwah of Spirits.

As if it isn’t bad enough that the unrighteous deny the Creator Elohim themselves, they feel they must all persecute the truth servants of Yahuwah as well. They deny His name and worship the names of fallen angels. We who are trying to become righteous, must not err in this manner. The Creator Elohim has a name and we must honour and proclaim his name to all the earth, with the hope that some might hear, become wise and be saved. There is power in His name and those who call on His name will receive power.

Enoch 48

2 And at that hour that Son of Man was named In the presence of Yahuwah of Spirits,

And his name before the Head of Days.

3 Yea, before the sun and the signs were created,

Before the stars of the heaven were made,

His name was named before Yahuwah of Spirits.

The name of the Messiah was chosen (as a parent chooses their child’s name) for him in the presence of and before Yahuwah before the physical universe was created. The angels were not mention in this passage so they may or may not have been on the scene at that time. His name might have also been changed more than once; as we know that he now has a name that no one knows. The Torah says the following:

Proverbs 30:4 - Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? Who hath gathered the wind in his fists? Who hath bound the waters in a garment? Who hath established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?

Enoch 48

4 He shall be a staff to the righteous whereon to stay themselves and not fall,

And he shall be the light of the Gentiles,

And the hope of those who are troubled of heart.

5 All who dwell on earth shall fall down and worship before him,

And will praise and bless and celebrate with song Yahuwah of Spirits.

6 And for this reason hath he been chosen and hidden before Him,

Before the creation of the world and for evermore.

The identity of the Son had been previously hidden. Obviously the knowledge of his existence was known, but no one (on Earth at least) knew his name else why would Yahuwah have asked the question in Proverbs 30:4? Why and how was he kept hidden? I believe that the possible answer is that Yahushua always appeared as the Father’s representative and in speaking on behalf of the Father, in the first person and everyone assumed that he was the Father. Thus he was hidden. He came in the name of the Father.

10 And on the day of their affliction there shall be rest on the earth,

And before them they shall fall and not rise again:

And there shall be no one to take them with his hands and raise them:

For they have denied Yahuwah of Spirits and His Anointed.

The name of Yahuwah of Spirits be blessed.

It is Yahuwah that anointed Yahushua. Therefore, since it is always the greater who anoints the lesser, they CANNOT be of the same stature and glory. Neither can they be one and the same person. This is how the Trinitarians and Binitarians get confused, because in the Scriptures the two really are indistinguishable and this is the manner in which Yahushua, the Son was hidden.

Enoch - Chapter 49

l For wisdom is poured out like water,

And glory faileth not before him for evermore.

2 For he is mighty in all the secrets of righteousness,

And unrighteousness shall disappear as a shadow,

And have no continuance;

Because the Elect One standeth before Yahuwah of Spirits,

And his glory is for ever and ever,

And his might unto all generations.

3 And in him dwells the spirit of wisdom,

And the spirit which gives insight,

And the spirit of understanding and of might,

And the spirit of those who have fallen asleep in righteousness.

4 And he shall judge the secret things,

And none shall be able to utter a lying word before him;

For he is the Elect One before Yahuwah of Spirits according to His good pleasure.

The great glory of the Son was also hidden from the world. His glory is separate from the Father’s in that the Son was created by the Father. He was the ONLY one created DIRECTLY by the Father – i.e. the only begotten Son. In fact, he was begotten THREE times. He was the firstborn of all creation. He was the first to be born of a woman, yet fathered by the Creator Elohim. And finally, in the culmination of his glory, he was the first to be born of the new creation. He was elected or selected from the beginning and purposed for this glory that belongs to him alone.

Enoch – Chapter 50

3 They shall have no honour through the name of Yahuwah of Spirits,

Yet through His name shall they be saved,

And Yahuwah of Spirits will have compassion on them,

For His compassion is great.

This simply means that none are WORTHY or DESERVING of salvation. It is ONLY by Yahuwah’s good pleasure that any receive this blessing. We have been under the sentence of death since the day we were born. It is not by our works that we are saved, but by the works of our eldest brother Yahushua. He, by himself and of his own free will, chose obedience to the Father’s every word and thus qualified himself as the Messiah who would lead the righteous of creation from the grave to the new creation.

Does it matter if we were baptized in the name “Jesus” or “God” and not in their true names? The answer is right here before you. The name “Jesus” is only 400 years old, so it is certainly not the Son’s name. Rather, it comes from the Greek name for the Messiah, Iesous, which literally means “praise Zeus”. The name Zeus is the Greek equivalent for the Babylonian name Baal. One of the many names of Baal was Baal-Gad or Gaud, both of which are pronounced exactly the same as our modern day “God”. Do the math, my brethren. This really is a no brainer. If you have not been baptized in the true names, you might want to consider being re-baptized. I was shortly after learning their true names.

Enoch – Chapter 51

5a For in those days the Elect One shall arise,

2 And he shall choose the righteous and holy from among them:

For the day has drawn nigh that they should be saved.

3 And the Elect One shall in those days sit on My throne,

And his mouth shall pour forth all the secrets of wisdom and counsel:

For Yahuwah of Spirits hath given (them) to him and hath glorified him.

If you find the numbering of these verses or the changing of styles a little confusing in the Book of Enoch, you are not alone. Since these were added later, I would just ignore them.

The Elect One (Yahushua) will sit on the Father’s throne. This creation was made for him. This is his inheritance. Who knows what the future holds. Perhaps Yahuwah will go off to create new universes? Perhaps He has already created more than one. We simply have no idea. We only know the here and now. And all we know right now is that the Father “programmed” all of his attributes into the Son and that he is the perfect reflection of the Father. It was the Father who gave him “all the secrets of wisdom and counsel” and glorified him. How can any righteous mind fathom that they are one and the same person?

Enoch – Chapter 54

4 And I asked the angel of peace who went with me, saying: ' For whom are these chains being prepared ? ' And he said unto me: ' These are being prepared for the hosts of Azazel, so that they may take them and cast them into the abyss of complete condemnation, and they shall cover their jaws with rough stones as Yahuwah of Spirits commanded.

Once again, the names “Satan” and “Azazel” appear to be synonymous – speaking of the same being. If not, then Azazel must be his prototype on Earth – a false messiah.

Enoch – Chapter 55

4 Ye mighty kings who dwell on the earth, ye shall have to behold Mine Elect One, how he sits on the throne of glory and judges Azazel, and all his associates, and all his hosts in the name of Yahuwah of Spirits.'

Yahushua will sit upon and judge from the Father’s throne, fully representing the Father before the rest of creation.

The Third Parable

Chapter 58

3 And the righteous shall be in the light of the sun.

And the elect in the light of eternal life:

The days of their life shall be unending,

And the days of the holy without number.

5 And after this it shall be said to the holy in heaven

That they should seek out the secrets of righteousness, the heritage of faith:

For it has become bright as the sun upon earth,

And the darkness is past.

6 And there shall be a light that never endeth,

And to a limit (lit. ' number ') of days they shall not come,

For the darkness shall first have been destroyed,

[And the light established before Yahuwah of Spirits]

And the light of uprightness established for ever before Yahuwah of Spirits.

These verses sum up the whole parable. The reward of the righteous will be eternal life. There will be no more darkness, only the light of Yahuwah. It almost sounds like our very nature will be light energy personified. We definitely won’t have to worry about keeping fresh batteries in our flashlights.

A Fragment of the Book of Noah

Chapter 60

1 In the year 500, in the seventh month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the life of Enoch. In that Parable I saw how a mighty quaking made the heaven of heavens to quake, and the host of the Most High, and the angels, a thousand thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand, were 2 disquieted with a great disquiet. And the Head of Days sat on the throne of His glory, and the angels and the righteous stood around Him.

Here we have proof that Enoch was alive and well SOMEWHERE following his ascension. Also, this day that is mentioned is the day before the beginning of the feast of tabernacles.

The later part of verse 2 is pictured perfectly by the Cabalist symbol of the circle with the dot in the middle. The Father alone stands inside the circle and none of the creation can approach him beyond the circle. In other words no one else is like Him. No one shares the glory that is His alone.

3 And a great trembling seized me,

And fear took hold of me,

And my loins gave way,

And dissolved were my reins,

And I fell upon my face.

4 And Michael sent another angel from among the holy ones and he raised me up, and when he had raised me up my spirit returned; for I had not been able to endure the look of this host, and the 5 commotion and the quaking of the heaven. And Michael said unto me: ' Why art thou disquieted with such a vision ? Until this day lasted the day of His mercy; and He hath been merciful and 6 long-suffering towards those who dwell on the earth. And when the day, and the power, and the punishment, and the judgement come, which Yahuwah of Spirits hath prepared for those who worship not the righteous law, and for those who deny the righteous judgement, and for those who take His name in vain-that day is prepared, for the elect a covenant, but for sinners an inquisition. 25 When the punishment of Yahuwah of Spirits shall rest upon them, it shall rest in order that the punishment of Yahuwah of Spirits may not come, in vain, and it shall slay the children with their mothers and the children with their fathers. Afterwards the judgement shall take place according to His mercy and His patience.'

Yahuwah definitely has been merciful and long-suffering all these years. Mankind has taken advantage of his mercy and long-suffering, thinking “Yahuwah delays His coming”, as an excuse to run amuck and do whatever it is they please. They do not comprehend (or care) that they only have to the end of their physical lives to GET IT RIGHT.

The punishment is for those who “worship not the righteous law”. Well, that will certainly includes all the traditional Christians, because they teach that the law is done away with. Since it was Emperor Constantine who gave the command that no Roman citizen was to follow the religion of the Jews, Christianity is obedient to a long-dead, 4th century Roman Emperor instead of Yahuwah, making Constantine their “god” in place of Yahuwah Elohim. It was also Constantine who gave the command that Sunday was the official Roman Sabbath. Emperor worship began with king Nimrod and the worship of Mystery Babylon (the ancient-day Great Whore). Therefore, it is easy to recognize the modern-day Great Whore – the Roman Catholic Church. Of course, all the other religions of the earth come from Mystery Babylon as well and are the Harlot Daughters mentioned in Revelation. The Hebrew faith may have come from Yahuwah, but it has been tainted by Mystery Babylon as well.

It appears here (verse 25) that the punishment comes before the judgement. I have no explanation for that one.

7 And on that day were two monsters parted, a female monster named Leviathan, to dwell in the 8 abysses of the ocean over the fountains of the waters. But the male is named Behemoth, who occupied with his breast a waste wilderness named Duidain, on the east of the garden where the elect and righteous dwell, where my grandfather was taken up, the seventh from Adam, the first 9 man whom the Lord of Spirits created.

23 And the angel of peace who was with me said to me: ' These two monsters, prepared conformably to the greatness of God, shall feed . . (fragment missing).

These two monsters are introduced, but the fragment describing their purpose is sadly missing. This bears more investigation.

Leviathan

The sea serpent Leviathan is mentioned several times in the Old Testament of the Bible. Legends about this immense and powerful creature were based on earlier stories about Tiamat, a dragon defeated by the god Marduk in a Babylonian creation myth. Later a similar tale appeared among the ancient Canaanites, who claimed that the god Baal slaughtered a seven-headed primeval serpent named Lotan.

primeval from the earliest times

chaos great disorder or confusion

In the Bible, Leviathan roamed the sea, breathing fire and spewing smoke from his nostrils. The book of Psalms describes how the Hebrew god Yahweh struggled with the many-headed Leviathan and killed it during a battle with the waters of chaos. Yahweh then created the universe, day and night, and the four seasons. Scriptural references to the end of time say that the flesh of Leviathan will be part of a feast served on the Day of Judgment.

behemoth

behemoth a huge or monstrous creature. The name comes from a Hebrew word occurring several times in the Old Testament and generally translated as ‘beast’; however, in Job 40:15, the Authorized Version has ‘behemoth’. The animal mentioned in Job is probably the hippopotamus, but the word came to be used generally for a particularly large and strong animal.

It is too bad that the fragment explaining their importance is missing from the Book of Enoch.

Chapter 62

1 And thus Yahuwah commanded the kings and the mighty and the exalted, and those who dwell on the earth, and said:

' Open your eyes and lift up your horns if ye are able to recognize the Elect One.'

2 And Yahuwah of Spirits seated him on the throne of His glory,

And the spirit of righteousness was poured out upon him,

And the word of his mouth slays all the sinners,

And all the unrighteous are destroyed from before his face.

3 And there shall stand up in that day all the kings and the mighty,

And the exalted and those who hold the earth,

And they shall see and recognize How he sits on the throne of his glory,

And righteousness is judged before him,

And no lying word is spoken before him.

What is the world going to think when they see the “Elect One” coming in glory? They are going to be scared out of their wits, that’s what. They will likely think it is an invasion from outer space. In a way they will be right. They certainly will not be thinking that it is Yahushua.

It is Yahuwah of Spirits who sits the Elect One on His throne. It is the One who is greater that presents Yahushua with his throne. The two are in no way equal. One is the Creator and the other is of the creation. Even though the Son is now in every way like the Father, he remains obligated to the Father for creating him and giving to him his all-important role.

This universe was created for the only begotten Son, Yahushua. Once the plan of Yahuwah is complete, Yahuwah is going to turn the rulership of the universe over to Yahushua. This is His (Yahushua’s) universe. Of course we know from Revelation 21 that the Father is also going to come down and dwell among us. There are at least two things we don’t know. First, has Yahuwah created other universes in the past? Secondly, is he going to remain on Earth just long enough to see everything off to a good start and then move on to create another universe?

These Ideas are all hypothetical, of course; but what makes me think that he has created other universes in the past is the wording in Genesis 1.

Gen. 1:12 - And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and Elohim saw that it was good.

13 - And the evening and the morning were the third day.

21 - And Elohim created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and Elohim saw that it was good.

24 - And Elohim said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

25 - And Elohim made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and Elohim saw that it was good.

26 - And Elohim said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 - So Elohim created man in his own image, in the image of Elohim created he him; male and female created he them.

We know of a certainty that we were created after the elohim kind, which already existed before the creation of this universe. Could the different “kinds” of animals, birds and fish have previously existed also in a prier universe? Could the Father be in the business of creating universes and then turning them over to the firstborn in His image in each? I believe these are good questions but likely won’t be answered for some long time yet.

Yahushua will be recognized when he is given his throne of glory. He will judge righteousness. He will know our minds and hearts better than we do and will certainly know if we try to lie. It’s no problem telling when I lie, I turn as red as a stop light; so I just don’t bother even trying anymore. In the day of judgement it is of the utmost importance that we tell the truth, no matter how bad our secret is. Tell the truth and show Yahushua that you have a truly repentant heart.

4 Then shall pain come upon them as on a woman in travail,

[And she has pain in bringing forth]

When her child enters the mouth of the womb,

And she has pain in bringing forth.

And one portion of them shall look on the other,

And they shall be terrified,

And they shall be downcast of countenance,

And pain shall seize them,

When they see that Son of Man Sitting on the throne of his glory.

This is similar to what it says in Revelation 16.

Rev. 16:8 - And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of Elohim, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

And blasphemed the Elohim of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

This event could be brought on by massive solar flares. We used to have an intact Ozone layer to protect us from the brunt of such storms, but we now have a huge hole in the Ozone layer that will allow us to receive the full impact of such a solar storm, one of which is on its way to Earth as I write (March 8, 2012) and is expected to knock out power grids, GPS systems and disrupt air traffic. That storm passed without any of the predictions coming true. However, a much larger storm is predicted for this summer, the size of which has not been witnessed since the 1800’s when our Ozone layer was intact. In preparation for the solar storm that is going to strike us this summer, the U.S. (and perhaps other nations too) have huge underground survival facilities already in place. Of course, only the “important” people and those able to afford the price of admission will be allowed into these facilities.

6 And the kings and the mighty and all who possess the earth shall bless and glorify and extol him who rules over all, who was hidden.

7 For from the beginning the Son of Man was hidden,

And the Most High preserved him in the presence of His might,

And revealed him to the elect.

The Messiah or his identity has been hidden from the creation. He has only been revealed to elect of the earth. Only the elect will recognize him when he returns. Throughout the Old Testament he manifested himself in the Father’s name; therefore, creating the confusion by which the Trinitarians and Binitarians come up with their erroneous theories concerning Yahushua’s nature. Everyone knew him as the Father rather than the Son. By this means, his name was hidden.

8 And the congregation of the elect and holy shall be sown,

And all the elect shall stand before him on that day.

By sown, I believe he means sealed.

9 And all the kings and the mighty and the exalted and those who rule the earth

Shall fall down before him on their faces,

And worship and set their hope upon that Son of Man,

And petition him and supplicate for mercy at his hands.

Those who rule the earth will make a last ditch attempt to save themselves. They showed no mercy towards others when they ruled but then they will expect mercy for themselves in the last days. They will indeed appear pretty pathetic.

10 Nevertheless Yahuwah of Spirits will so press them

That they shall hastily go forth from His presence,

And their faces shall be filled with shame,

And the darkness grow deeper on their faces.

11 And He will deliver them to the angels for punishment,

To execute vengeance on them because they have oppressed His children and His elect.

12 And they shall be a spectacle for the righteous and for His elect:

They shall rejoice over them,

Because the wrath of Yahuwah of Spirits rests upon them,

And His sword is drunk with their blood.

This will be when the righteous will finally see justice. This will be when all hidden sin will be revealed. That is why it is best to weed out all hidden sin now and repent of it. Once we repent of it and are forgiven, it will never be brought up before us again. Better now than on the day of judgement. It is partly these hidden sins that prevent us from becoming one with the Creator. Get it all out in the open now and put it out of our lives.

The mighty ones of the earth will be too proud to repent and will be sent away in shame and turned over to the angels for destruction.

14 And Yahuwah of Spirits will abide over them,

And with that Son of Man shall they eat

And lie down and rise up for ever and ever.

The righteous will dwell with the Father and the “Son of Man” forever. The Father will always be the greater, but the Son will rule over the earth and the entire universe from the throne that the Father will give to him.

Chapter 63

4 We have now learnt that we should glorify

And bless Yahuwah of kings and Him who is king over all kings.'

Yahuwah is the master of all kings and Yahushua is the King of kings - two different beings, two different glories.

Chapter 65

1, 2 And in those days Noah saw the earth that it had sunk down and its destruction was nigh. And he arose from thence and went to the ends of the earth, and cried aloud to his grandfather Enoch: 3 and Noah said three times with an embittered voice: Hear me, hear me, hear me.' And I said unto him: ' Tell me what it is that is falling out on the earth that the earth is in such evil plight 4 and shaken, lest perchance I shall perish with it ? ' And thereupon there was a great commotion , on the earth, and a voice was heard from heaven, and I fell on my face. And Enoch my grandfather came and stood by me, and said unto me: ' Why hast thou cried unto me with a bitter cry and weeping 6 And a command has gone forth from the presence of Yahuwah concerning those who dwell on the earth that their ruin is accomplished because they have learnt all the secrets of the angels, and all the violence of the Satans, and all their powers -the most secret ones- and all the power of those who practice sorcery, and the power of witchcraft, and the power of those who make molten images 7 for the whole earth: And how silver is produced from the dust of the earth, and how soft metal 8 originates in the earth. For lead and tin are not produced from the earth like the first: it is a fountain 9 that produces them, and an angel stands therein, and that angel is pre-eminent.' And after that my grandfather Enoch took hold of me by my hand and raised me up, and said unto me: ' Go, for I have 10 asked Yahuwah of Spirits as touching this commotion on the earth. And He said unto me: “Because of their unrighteousness their judgement has been determined upon and shall not be withheld by Me for ever. Because of the sorceries which they have searched out and learnt, the earth and those 11 who dwell upon it shall be destroyed." And these-they have no place of repentance for ever, because they have shown them what was hidden, and they are the damned: but as for thee, my son, Yahuwah of Spirits knows that thou art pure, and guiltless of this reproach concerning the secrets.

Noah went to the “ends of the earth” to find his grandfather. It is not clear if Enoch was actually dwelling in this place, on the earth, or in heaven. However, this definitely took place long after Enoch was taken up.

The fallen angels were responsible for all the evils that were taking place upon the earth – “because they have learnt all the secrets of the angels, and all the violence of the Satans, and all their powers -the most secret ones- and all the power of those who practice sorcery, and the power of witchcraft, and the power of those who make molten images”. Once again, all the fallen angels are referred to as “Satans”. All are adversaries. The angel that was pre-eminent amongst them was Azazel. There is no place of repentance for these angels forever – meaning that there is no forgiveness for their actions.

12 And He has destined thy name to be among the holy,

And will preserve thee amongst those who dwell on the earth,

And has destined thy righteous seed both for kingship and for great honours,

And from thy seed shall proceed a fountain of the righteous and holy without number for ever.

At least Enoch had hoped that all the seed Noah produced following the flood would be holy and righteous without number, but Yahuwah knew different. He knew that would not come until after the end of days. Enoch figured that following such a great lesson like the flood there would be a change in the nature of men. However, it did not happen that way. The nature of HaSatan was so strongly linked to the nature of man, that the flood was barely over before the spirit of HaSatan entered Noah’s son Ham and unrighteousness sprung up all over again.

Chapter 67

1 And in those days the word of Elohim came unto me, and He said unto me: ' Noah, thy lot has come 2 Up before Me, a lot without blame, a lot of love and uprightness. And now the angels are making a wooden (building), and when they have completed that task I will place My hand upon it and preserve it, and there shall come forth from it the seed of life, and a change shall set in so that the 3 earth will not remain without inhabitant. And I will make fast thy seed before me for ever and ever, and I will spread abroad those who dwell with thee: it shall not be unfruitful on the face of the earth, but it shall be blessed and multiply on the earth in the name Yahuwah.”

Yahuwah definitely had higher hopes for the seed of Noah than were actually produced. Surely He who knows the end from the beginning knew better. Perhaps this was speaking of the Messiah who would later come through Noah’s seed.

Chapter 68

4 And it came to pass when he stood before Yahuwah of Spirits, Michael said thus to Raphael: ' I will not take their part under the eye of Yahuwah; for Yahuwah of Spirits has been angry with them because they do 5 as if they were Yahuwah. Therefore all that is hidden shall come upon them for ever and ever; for neither angel nor man shall have his portion (in it), but alone they have received their judgement for ever and ever.

Michael likely wished that it might not be so with these fallen angels (his former comrades) – that they would repent and be able to save themselves from the judgement of Yahuwah; however, their fate was already pronounced and even if they did repent, there would be no forgiveness granted them, nor would forgiveness be granted to unrighteous men. Both do “as if they were Yahuwah”.

Chapter 69

1 And after this judgement they shall terrify and make them to tremble because they have shown this to those who dwell on the earth. 2 And behold the names of those angels [and these are their names: the first of them is Samjaza, the second Artaqifa, and the third Armen, the fourth Kokabel, the fifth Turael, the sixth Rumjal, the seventh Danjal, the eighth Neqael, the ninth Baraqel, the tenth Azazel, the eleventh Armaros, the twelfth Batarjal, the thirteenth Busasejal, the fourteenth Hananel, the fifteenth Turel, and the sixteenth Simapesiel, the seventeenth Jetrel, the eighteenth Tumael, the nineteenth Turel, 3 the twentieth Rumael, the twenty-first Azazel. And these are the chiefs of their angels and their names, and their chief ones over hundreds and over fifties and over tens]. 4 The name of the first Jeqon: that is, the one who led astray [all] the sons of God, and brought them 5 down to the earth, and led them astray through the daughters of men. And the second was named Asbeel: he imparted to the holy sons of God evil counsel, and led them astray so that they defiled 6 their bodies with the daughters of men. And the third was named Gadreel: he it is who showed the children of men all the blows of death, and he led astray Eve, and showed [the weapons of death to the sons of men] the shield and the coat of mail, and the sword for battle, and all the weapons 7 of death to the children of men. And from his hand they have proceeded against those who dwell 8 on the earth from that day and for evermore. And the fourth was named Penemue: he taught the 9 children of men the bitter and the sweet, and he taught them all the secrets of their wisdom. And he instructed mankind in writing with ink and paper, and thereby many sinned from eternity to 10 eternity and until this day.

Here we are given the names of 21 of the chiefs of fallen angels. Under these 21 another 4 are mentioned. The third one, Gadreel, is named as the one who tempted Eve. It is interesting that the first part of his name is also one of the names attached to Baal (Baal-Gad) Gad is also in some places in the Torah spelt “Gaud”. All three – Gad, Gaud and God – are pronounced exactly the same – G-o-d.

It is also interesting that there are now 21 chiefs instead of 20 as previously mentioned; and that Azazel is named twice - once as number 10 and again as number 21. I have no idea what to make of this.

For men were not created for such a purpose, to give confirmation 11 to their good faith with pen and ink. For men were created exactly like the angels, to the intent that they should continue pure and righteous, and death, which destroys everything, could not have taken hold of them, but through this their knowledge they are perishing, and through this power 12 it is consuming me.

We know that the righteous are not to make oaths, but that their yeas and nays (their word) should be enough. Perhaps this Penemue is the angel of lawyers who insist on having everything in writing? Lol. The knowledge of making paper and ink was known in those days. How long after the flood did it take man to regain this knowledge? Have these angels already been released from the bottomless pit? Is it with their help that we have come to the degree of knowledge we have today?

Also interesting in this passage is the mention that men were created exactly like angels. Of course this is talking in the spiritual sense. Both men and angels are created beings created with free choice. The only difference is that most of the angels are righteous and most of mankind is unrighteous. It even affirms here that the unrighteous in both cases are looking at death because of their unrighteousness.

And the fifth was named Kasdeja: this is he who showed the children of men all the wicked smitings of spirits and demons, and the smitings of the embryo in the womb, that it may pass away, and [the smitings of the soul] the bites of the serpent, and the smitings 13 which befall through the noontide heat, the son of the serpent named Taba'et. And this is the task of Kasbeel, the chief of the oath which he showed to the holy ones when he dwelt high 4 above in glory, and its name is Biqa. This (angel) requested Michael to show him the hidden name, that he might enunciate it in the oath, so that those might quake before that name and oath who revealed all that was in secret to the children of men. And this is the power of this oath, for it is powerful and strong, and he placed this oath Akae in the hand of Michael.

This fifth fallen angel is the one who taught men to murder. It was they who first committed murder by enticing Eve to take of the Tree of Knowledge. Notice too that included in the list is “the smitings of the embryo in the womb that it may pass away”. What does that have to say of abortions? Abortions = murder. And what about birth control? Would that fall under this heading too? I am worried now about the vasectomy I had almost 20 years ago. I am going have to take that matter before Yahuwah now and seek His forgiveness. This is what is meant by hidden sin. It is better to seek forgiveness now than wait till the judgement. And, it is wise to seek Yahuwah’s will before doing the act, which I did not.

What about the son of the serpent mentioned here, Taba’et? I have never run across this word or expression before and haven’t a clue who he might be.

Notice also that there are two different oaths mentioned here, “Biqa” and “Akae”. The chief of the oath, Biqa, asks of Michael to show him the hidden name. What hidden name could they talking about except the name of the Son? It must not have been part of the oath at that time but Kasbeel wanted to add it to the oath, likely for the purpose of revealing the hidden name to mankind. If Yahuwah wanted man to know this name I am sure He would have revealed it to them himself. He placed the oath Akae in Michael’s hand for some reason. Perhaps Michael demanded it of him because he was no longer worthy of being responsible for it. It is not mentioned if Michael revealed this “hidden name” to him or not, so I would assume that he did not. There are still many mysteries that we will not know (nor were meant to) until we are born into the Kingdom.

16 And these are the secrets of this oath . . .

And they are strong through his oath:

And the heaven was suspended before the world was created,

And for ever.

These oaths, obviously, held much power and were not intended to be used casually or by the wrong individuals. The “hidden name” obviously would make these oaths even that much more powerful.

Another mystery is unveiled here also – “And the heaven was suspended before the world was created, And for ever.” Whatever is meant by that? I have no idea, but this is why we must never stop studying, brethren. There is not enough paper produced on Earth to contain all of the mysteries of Heaven. We will always have more to learn.

26 And there was great joy amongst them,

And they blessed and glorified and extolled

Because the name of that Son of Man had been revealed unto them.

The Son’s name was revealed to mankind at his first coming. His new name will be revealed at his second coming.

27 And he sat on the throne of his glory,

And the sum of judgement was given unto the Son of Man,

And he caused the sinners to pass away and be destroyed from off the face of the earth,

And those who have led the world astray.

The sum of judgement was given to the Son of Man. Again, why would it have had to of been given to him if he were already one and the same as the Father?

28 With chains shall they be bound,

And in their assemblage-place of destruction shall they be imprisoned,

And all their works vanish from the face of the earth.

29 And from henceforth there shall be nothing corruptible;

For that Son of Man has appeared,

And has seated himself on the throne of his glory,

And all evil shall pass away before his face,

And the word of that Son of Man shall go forth.

The Son’s throne was prepared for him by the Father; however it was the Son (of his own free will) who qualified himself to sit on it.

Chapter 71

1 And it came to pass after this that my spirit was translated

And it ascended into the heavens:

And I saw the holy sons of Yahuwah.

They were stepping on flames of fire:

Their garments were white [and their raiment],

And their faces shone like snow.

This and the following verses are talking about the future when Yahushua has overcome sin and sits on his throne. At that time Yahuwah spirit will fill us to over flowing and the light of His glory will emanate from us.

2 And I saw two streams of fire,

And the light of that fire shone like hyacinth,

And I fell on my face before Yahuwah of Spirits.

Here is another vision of heaven.

3 And the angel Michael [one of the archangels] seized me by my right hand,

And lifted me up and led me forth into all the secrets,

And he showed me all the secrets of righteousness.

Whatever could these “secrets” of righteousness be? How are we supposed to come to full righteousness if we don’t know what these secrets are?

4 And he showed me all the secrets of the ends of the heaven,

And all the chambers of all the stars, and all the luminaries,

Whence they proceed before the face of the holy ones.

5 And he translated my spirit into the heaven of heavens,

And I saw there as it were a structure built of crystals,

And between those crystals tongues of living fire.

How many heavens are there?

6 And my spirit saw the girdle which girt that house of fire,

And on its four sides were streams full of living fire,

And they girt that house.

What is meant by “living fire”?

7 And round about were Seraphin, Cherubic, and Ophannin:

And these are they who sleep not

And guard the throne of His glory.

Seraphin and Cherubic we should know, but what does the name Ophannin refer to? I have never heard the term before and could not find the answer in any reference books I have available to me. If any readers know the meaning of this term, I would deeply appreciate it if you would email me the info and the source of it.

8 And I saw angels who could not be counted,

A thousand thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand,

Encircling that house.

And Michael, and Raphael, and Gabriel, and Phanuel,

And the holy angels who are above the heavens,

Go in and out of that house.

I am wondering if these four angels will be the ones who hold back the plagues in Revelation. I am now beginning to doubt that Michael and Yahushua are the same person as I suspected in other articles. I will have to do some editing.

9 And they came forth from that house,

And Michael and Gabriel, Raphael and Phanuel,

And many holy angels without number.

10 And with them the Head of Days,

His head white and pure as wool,

And His raiment indescribable.

11 And I fell on my face,

And my whole body became relaxed,

And my spirit was transfigured;

And I cried with a loud voice, . . .

with the spirit of power,

And blessed and glorified and extolled.

12 And these blessings which went forth out of my mouth were well pleasing before that Head of Days. And that Head of Days came with Michael and Gabriel, Raphael and Phanuel, thousands and ten thousands of angels without number.

[Lost passage wherein the Son of Man was described as accompanying the Head of Days, and Enoch asked one of the angels (as in xlvi. 3) concerning the Son of Man as to who he was.]

14 And he (i.e. the angel) came to me and greeted me with His voice, and said unto me '

This is the Son of Man who is born unto righteousness,

And righteousness abides over him,

And the righteousness of the Head of Days forsakes him not.'

15 And he said unto me:

' He proclaims unto thee peace in the name of the world to come;

For from hence has proceeded peace since the creation of the world,

And so shall it be unto thee for ever and for ever and ever.

Here again we have proof of the origin of Yahushua, who was BORN into righteousness. In other words, he was born (created) into the role he would later play. He bore the exact same righteousness as the “Head of Days”. If not for the sin of Adam, the world would have known peace for the past 6,000 years, instead of war, death, disease and misery.

16 And all shall walk in his ways since righteousness never forsaketh him:

With him will be their dwelling-places, and with him their heritage,

And they shall not be separated from him forever and ever and ever.

And so there shall be length of days with that Son of Man,

And the righteous shall have peace and an upright way

In the name of Yahuwah of Spirits forever and ever.'

Yahushua dwells in righteousness forever. He passed all tests with flying colours. The righteous of the earth that are born into the new creation will have the same “length of days” as the Son and will dwell with him forever.

Chapter 72

1 The book of the courses of the luminaries of the heaven, the relations of each, according to their classes, their dominion and their seasons, according to their names and places of origin, and according to their months, which Uriel, the holy angel, who was with me, who is their guide, showed me; and he showed me all their laws exactly as they are, and how it is with regard to all the years of the world 2 and unto eternity, till the new creation is accomplished which dureth till eternity.

The laws of Yahuwah stand as they are from infinity and to eternity. They never change. They were never done away with, except for in the minds of the unrighteous. The one who proclaimed the law done away with and the Sabbath day changed was Emperor Constantine.

I have heard it said so many times that when we die, we become angels. This idea greatly distorts and denies the great glory that Yahuwah has intended for us. We are to be entirely NEW creatures – both men and angels. We will possess the exact same power of self existence as Yahushua, the firstborn of the new creation. Neither angels nor mankind have ever possessed this power before.

The 364 Day Year

1. its appearance, according as Yahuwah commanded. As he rises, so he sets and decreases not, and rests not, but runs day and night, and his light is sevenfold brighter than that of the moon; but as regards size they are both equal.

Obviously Enoch was not quite as wise as assumed. We now know that the moon gives off no light of its own and we also know that the sun is much larger than the moon; however, looking at them from the earth they look the same size.

The following verses were related to Enoch by the angel.

Chapter 74

1 And I saw another course, a law for her, (and) how according to that law she performs her monthly 2 revolution. And all these Uriel, the holy angel who is the leader of them all, showed to me, and their positions, and I wrote down their positions as he showed them to me, and I wrote down their months 3 as they were, and the appearance of their lights till fifteen days were accomplished. In single seventh parts she accomplishes all her light in the east, and in single seventh parts accomplishes all her 4 darkness in the west. And in certain months she alters her settings, and in certain months she pursues 5 her own peculiar course. In two months the moon sets with the sun: in those two middle portals the 6 third and the fourth. She goes forth for seven days, and turns about and returns again through the portal where the sun rises, and accomplishes all her light: and she recedes from the sun, and in eight 7 days enters the sixth portal from which the sun goes forth. And when the sun goes forth from the fourth portal she goes forth seven days, until she goes forth from the fifth and turns back again in seven days into the fourth portal and accomplishes all her light: and she recedes and enters into the 8 first portal in eight days. And she returns again in seven days into the fourth portal from which the 9, 10 sun goes forth. Thus I saw their position -how the moons rose and the sun set in those days. And if five years are added together the sun has an overplus of thirty days, and all the days which accrue11 to it for one of those five years, when they are full, amount to 364 days. And the overplus of the sun and of the stars amounts to six days: in 5 years 6 days every year come to 30 days: and the 12 moon falls behind the sun and stars to the number of 30 days. And the sun and the stars bring in all the years exactly, so that they do not advance or delay their position by a single day unto eternity; but complete the years with perfect justice in 364 days. In 3 years there are 1,092 days, and in 5 years 1,820 days, so that in 8 years there are 2,912 days. For the moon alone the days amount in 3 years to 1,062 days, and in 5 years she falls 50 days behind: [i.e. to the sum (of 1,770) there is 5 to be added (1,000 and) 62 days.] And in 5 years there are 1,770 days, so that for the moon the days 6 in 8 years amount to 21,832 days. [For in 8 years she falls behind to the amount of 80 days], all the 17 days she falls behind in 8 years are 80. And the year is accurately completed in conformity with their world-stations and the stations of the sun, which rise from the portals through which it (the sun) rises and sets 30 days.

According to Enoch there are 364 days in a year. How did the Hebrew calendar end up with only 360 days? And the Roman calendar 365 days? All of the above is a pretty confusing explanation.

Chapter 75

1 And the leaders of the heads of the thousands, who are placed over the whole creation and over all the stars, have also to do with the four intercalary days, being inseparable from their office, according to the reckoning of the year, and these render service on the four days which are not 2 reckoned in the reckoning of the year. And owing to them men go wrong therein, for those luminaries truly render service on the world-stations, one in the first portal, one in the third portal of the heaven, one in the fourth portal, and one in the sixth portal, and the exactness of the year is 3 accomplished through its separate three hundred and sixty-four stations.

As near as I can figure out, a portal is a month and a station is a day.

Chapter 77

1 And the first quarter is called the east, because it is the first: and the second, the south, because the Most High will descend there, yea, there in quite a special sense will He who is blessed for ever 2 descend.

This is most interesting. We know that Yahushua will descend from the east. However, Enoch tells us here that the Father will descend from the south.

Chapter 78

1, 2 And the names of the sun are the following: the first Orjares, and the second Tomas. And the moon has four names: the first name is Asonja, the second Ebla, the third Benase, and the fourth 3 Erae. These are the two great luminaries: their circumference is like the circumference of the 4 heaven, and the size of the circumference of both is alike.

Now in this case, it is the angel Uriel speaking. I wonder if he is speaking of their shape of the actual size as being alike. I have no idea what the two names for the sun mean or the four names of the moon. If anyone does know the meanings of these different names please let me know.

7 And fifteen parts of light are transferred to her till the fifteenth day (when) her light is accomplished, according to the sign of the year, and she becomes fifteen parts, and the moon grows by (the addition of) fourteenth 8 parts.

A “part” is one day. The full moon occurs on the fifteenth day according to the Hebrew calendar (as we all know) and is followed by 14 more days, making twenty nine altogether. Yet ,as we will soon read, some months have 29 days and some have 30 days.

12 And on the first 13 day she is called the new moon, for on that day the light rises upon her.

The first day following the dark phase of the moon is the day that “the light rises upon her”, which is the first visible crescent. This disqualifies the dark new moon that the world (including the Jews) considers the beginning of lunar phases and in the case of the Jews, the beginning of the month. This would mean that the Jewish reckoning of the feast days are off most often by one day. This depends on what time of day the dark new moon fully occurs in reference to the first visible crescent. The Jews did not begin keeping the dark new moon as the beginning of the month until the fourth century AD. During the Messiah’s time, the head of the Sanhedrim, Gamaliel, who was also a Pharisee, would send runners out with images of each of the different phases of the moon. Each runner had to positively indentify that the moon was in the first crescent before they could start the beginning of the month. This is difficult in the seventh month because the moon only appears for a short time.

Gamaliel REWARD OF GOD. (1.) A chief of the tribe of Manasseh at the census at Sinai (Num. 1:10; 2:20; 7:54, 59). (2.) The son of rabbi Simeon, and grandson of the famous rabbi Hillel. He was a Pharisee, and therefore the opponent of the party of the Sadducees. He was noted for his learning, and was president of the Sanhedrim during the reigns of Tiberius, Caligula, and Claudius, and died, it is said, about eighteen years before the destruction of Jerusalem. When the apostles were brought before the council, charged with preaching the resurrection of Jesus, as a zealous Pharisee Gamaliel counseled moderation and calmness. By a reference to well-known events, he advised them to “refrain from these men.” If their work or counsel was of man, it would come to nothing; but if it was of God, they could not destroy it, and therefore ought to be on their guard lest they should be “found fighting against God” (Acts 5:34-40). Paul was one of his disciples (Acts 22:3).

15 And three months she makes of thirty days, and at her time she makes three months of twenty- nine days each, in which she accomplishes her waning in the first period of time, and in the first 16 portal for one hundred and seventy-seven days. And in the time of her going out she appears for three months (of) thirty days each, and for three months she appears (of) twenty-nine each. At night she appears like a man for twenty days each time, and by day she appears like the heaven, and there is nothing else in her save her light.

There are 3 months of 29 days, followed by 3 months of 30 days. I have no idea what is meant in the last sentence where it says “At night she appears like a man for twenty days each time”, nor am I clear on what is meant by the rest of the sentence.

Chapter 80

1 And in those days the angel Uriel answered and said to me: ' Behold, I have shown thee everything, Enoch, and I have revealed everything to thee that thou shouldst see this sun and this moon, and the leaders of the stars of the heaven and all those who turn them, their tasks and times and departures.

The following (I believe) is a picture of the final 3 ½ years, when the two end-time witnesses bring drought and all sorts of other curses upon the earth.

2 And in the days of the sinners the years shall be shortened,

And their seed shall be tardy on their lands and fields,

And all things on the earth shall alter,

And shall not appear in their time:

And the rain shall be kept back

And the heaven shall withhold (it).

Some catastrophic natural event is going to speed up both the earth rotation and its revolution around the sun.

3 And in those times the fruits of the earth shall be backward,

And shall not grow in their time,

And the fruits of the trees shall be withheld in their time.

4 And the moon shall alter her order,

And not appear at her time.

5 [And in those days the sun shall be seen and he shall journey in the evening on the extremity of the great chariot in the west]

And shall shine more brightly than accords with the order of light.

6 And many chiefs of the stars shall transgress the order (prescribed).

And these shall alter their orbits and tasks,

And not appear at the seasons prescribed to them.

7 And the whole order of the stars shall be concealed from the sinners,

And the thoughts of those on the earth shall err concerning them,

[And they shall be altered from all their ways],

Yea, they shall err and take them to be gods.

8 And evil shall be multiplied upon them,

And punishment shall come upon them So as to destroy all.'

These verses verify that it the end time – the 3 ½ years of the two end-time witnesses – the length of days will be shortened and the earth altered from its set path. All that we know as natural will be confused, i.e. days, months seasons growing cycles and weather patterns, the number of hours in a day, the number of days in a year.

The visions of the rest of this section picture the entire history of Israel starting with the flood, the exodus, the Israelite dynasty, captivity, return to the land, rebuilding of the temple, the coming of the Messiah and the latter days. The vision of these events came to Enoch in symbolic form, but I believe I have a handle on what they all mean; however, I am going to present them in a separate book or article because they add no more to we already know.

Section V. XCI-CIV (i.e. XCII, XCI. 1-1O, 18-19, XCIII. 1-1O, XCI. 12-17, XCIV-CIV.).

A Book of Exhortation and Promised Blessing for the Righteous and of Malediction and Woe for the Sinners.

Chapter 92

2 Let not your spirit be troubled on account of the times;

For the Holy and Great One has appointed days for all things.

3 And the righteous one shall arise from sleep,

[Shall arise] and walk in the paths of righteousness,

And all his path and conversation shall be in eternal goodness and grace.

This is talking of the resurrected Messiah, proving that he was to die and be resurrected from death to eternal glory.

Chapter 98

1 And now I swear unto you, to the wise and to the foolish,

For ye shall have manifold experiences on the earth.

2 For ye men shall put on more adornments than a woman,

And coloured garments more than a virgin:

In royalty and in grandeur and in power,

And in silver and in gold and in purple,

And in splendour and in food they shall be poured out as water.

This is talking of the rich and powerful of the earth. They have had their reward (the reward that they coveted) in this life, but because of their foolishness, they will have no reward in the future.

3 Therefore they shall be wanting in doctrine and wisdom,

And they shall perish thereby together with their possessions;

And with all their glory and their splendour,

And in shame and in slaughter and in great destitution,

Their spirits shall be cast into the furnace of fire.

Power and riches do not make one wise in doctrine. They can scoff at the true Believers all they want. We have something more valuable than gold and riches, which, for all their wealth and power, can never attain. The wisdom of Yahuwah simply cannot be purchased for a price.

4 I have sworn unto you, ye sinners, as a mountain has not become a slave,

And a hill does not become the handmaid of a woman,

Even so sin has not been sent upon the earth,

But man of himself has created it,

And under a great curse shall they fall who commit it.

It was not Yahuwah that sent sin to the earth. Everything was “pre-programmed from the beginning of the creation. The natural result of sin is death and the natural reward of righteousness is eternal life. It is because of sin that all have to die once. Man freely chose the Way of HaSatan and therefore created sin all on his own. How often, at funerals, have you heard some cry, “Where was “God”? Why did He allow so-and-so to die?” Yahuwah didn’t “allow” the person to die; it was man who chose the Way of HaSatan, which is the Way of Death. Even if it is an infant that dies, the sins of the father to the 3rd and 4th generation were placed squarely upon that child and it is their fault that the child died, not Yahuwah’s. Man has to stop blaming the Father for all his mistakes. We are merely reaping the consequences for our own decisions.

5 And barrenness has not been given to the woman,

But on account of the deeds of her own hands she dies without children.

As mentioned earlier, during the time of Enoch, the men of the earth wanted their women to remain beautiful and retain their figures. They did not want their bodies “ruined” by child birth and forced them to drink something that would render them barren – FOR LIFE.

Woe to you who set at nought the words of 5 the righteous; for ye shall have no hope of life. Woe to you who write down lying and unrighteous words; for they write down their lies that men may hear them and act unrighteously towards (their) 6 neighbour. Therefore they shall have no peace but die a sudden death.

Both the Jews and Christians are guilty of this; the Jews with their Talmud and the Christians by their warped translations of the Scriptures and the New Testament. The Jews put their Talmud before the Torah and the Christians have abandoned the Torah altogether in favour of the New Testament. In the case of the Christians, this doctrine comes straight out of Gnosticism. The Gnostics believed that Yahushua replaced the mean, nasty old “God” of the Old Testament, and; therefore, believed that the Old Testament was done away with, and all the law with it. This is how their doctrine, that all one needs to do is profess belief in the Messiah to be saved, came from. For more on Gnosticism, go to;

Chapter 99

1 Woe to you who work godlessness,

And glory in lying and extol them:

Ye shall perish, and no happy life shall be yours.

2 Woe to them who pervert the words of uprightness,

And transgress the eternal law,

And transform themselves into what they were not [into sinners]:

They shall be trodden under foot upon the earth.

Again, both the Jews and Christians are guilty of this. The Christians have abandoned the law altogether and replaced them with their own laws. The Jews merely re-interpreted the law to suit themselves. Perverting the words of “uprightness” is a very grievous offence. It causes those who believe the lie to transgress the law and die in ignorance of their sins and their blood is on the deceiver’s hands.

3 In those days make ready, ye righteous, to raise your prayers as a memorial,

And place them as a testimony before the angels,

That they may place the sin of the sinners for a memorial before the Most High.

4 In those days the nations shall be stirred up,

And the families of the nations shall arise on the day of destruction.

5 And in those days the destitute shall go forth and carry off their children,

And they shall abandon them, so that their children shall perish through them:

Yea, they shall abandon their children (that are still) sucklings, and not return to them,

And shall have no pity on their beloved ones.

This sounds like what is today happening in China. However, in the end times, people will be so destitute because of the plagues of Yahuwah that they will be thinking only of their own survival and will abandon everything and everyone else. If destitute in hunger, they may even eat their children to maintain their own existence. This verse can also be applied to all the abortions being performed worldwide.

Chapter 100

1 And in those days in one place the fathers together with their sons shall be smitten

And brothers one with another shall fall in death

Till the streams flow with their blood.

2 For a man shall not withhold his hand from slaying his sons and his sons' sons,

And the sinner shall not withhold his hand from his honoured brother:

From dawn till sunset they shall slay one another.

3 And the horse shall walk up to the breast in the blood of sinners,

And the chariot shall be submerged to its height.

9 Woe to you, ye sinners, on account of the words of your mouth,

And on account of the deeds of your hands which your godlessness as wrought,

In blazing flames burning worse than fire shall ye burn.

This also is talking of the end days, similar statements are made in the Torah. Verse 3 parallels the vision of Armageddon.

10 And now, know ye that from the angels He will inquire as to your deeds in heaven, from the sun and from the moon and from the stars in reference to your sins because upon the earth ye execute 11 judgement on the righteous. And He will summon to testify against you every cloud and mist and dew and rain; for they shall all be withheld because of you from descending upon you, and they 12 shall be mindful of your sins. And now give presents to the rain that it be not withheld from descending upon you, nor yet the dew, when it has received gold and silver from you that it may descend. When the hoar-frost and snow with their chilliness, and all the snow-storms with all their plagues fall upon you, in those days ye shall not be able to stand before them.

The fallen angels are going to be directly blamed for the sins of men, yet mankind is ultimately responsible for giving in to sin. Because of them there will be no rain in the end days and the whole order of nature on the earth will be in a state of chaos. The spirit of Yahuwah is in every living thing and witnesses our deeds before Yahuwah.

Chapter 102

1 In those days when He hath brought a grievous fire upon you,

Whither will ye flee, and where will ye find deliverance ?

And when He launches forth His Word against you Will you not be affrighted and fear ?

In a previous verse we read that the sun was going to increase in brightness in the end days. An increase in brightness likely means an increase in heat. The heat may be so intense that that it scorches the surface of the earth.

I also watched a show on either the science or history channel where they were examining evidence that a huge asteroid once struck the Gulf of Mexico. Scientists believe that this is the asteroid that extinguished all life on the planet between the Dinosaur age and ours. They did a computer reenactment of the disaster showing that a collision of that magnitude would sent out such a force of wind (almost 1,000 miles per hour) that it would suck up tons of sand and debris from the earth as it travelled and that the friction caused would heat up the surface air to over 800 degrees killing everything living – all human, animal, bird and water life, all vegetation – leaving only a barren waste land. At the speed that cloud of debris would be travelling, it could cover the entire earth in about 24-36 hours. In the Book of Revelation, it is prophesied that in the end days the earth is going to be struck by two such asteroids. One is going to strike the earth and one the sea. Could this be one of the reasons that some of the governments of this world are busy building underground survival facilities?

2 And all the luminaries shall be affrighted with great fear,

And all the earth shall be affrighted and tremble and be alarmed.

It is not just the earth that will be affected, but the whole universe. The furthest planets in our own solar system have already developed a “wobble”. The earth’s axis is shifting. The weather patterns are shifting. Could we be close to the end days? It is quite possible; however, what we really have to look for is the two end-time witnesses in Jerusalem prophesying against all the worldly powers, which, of course will follow after the formation of a One World Order. From the time the two witnesses beginning to prophesy, we will have 3 ½ years till the return of Yahushua.

3 And all the angels shall execute their commandst

And shall seek to hide themselves from the presence of the Great Glory,

And the children of earth shall tremble and quake;

And ye sinners shall be cursed for ever,

And ye shall have no peace.

We have absolutely no concept of the extent of Yahuwah’s awesome power. The heavens are going to be shaken, planets and stars moved from their present courses. The end result is going to be a new heaven and a new earth.

4 Fear ye not, ye souls of the righteous,

And be hopeful ye that have died in righteousness.

In death, nothing can hurt us. Death is a type of “Place of Safety”; however, the ultimate Place of Safety is in the arms of Yahushua. He will raise us to eternal glory where nothing can ever harm us again.

5 And grieve not if your soul into Sheol has descended in grief,

And that in your life your body fared not according to your goodness,

But wait for the day of the judgement of sinners

And for the day of cursing and chastisement.

We should not grieve for the righteous that have gone to the grave. There is nothing in this physical life that we should desire so much that we would stubbornly want to live for. We should, instead, celebrate the fact that they died in righteousness and in their next waking moment they will be born into the new creation.

6 And yet when ye die the sinners speak over you:

" As we die, so die the righteous,

And what benefit do they reap for their deeds ?

7 Behold, even as we, so do they die in grief and darkness,

And what have they more than we ?

From henceforth we are equal.

8 And what will they receive and what will they see for ever ?

Behold, they too have died,

And henceforth for ever shall they see no light."

Sinners have no comprehension of the mystery of Yahuwah – what His plan for mankind is and the great glory He purposes to deliver to us. They cannot see past the first death and therefore seek to gain their reward in this lifetime according to their riches. Sinners (the walking dead) seek after eternal physical life, because they do not believe Yahuwah concerning everlasting spiritual life. They see us die and ask why our Elohim did not save us. The answer is that He has saved us. We are safe in death. There is nothing that can any longer hurt us and when the time comes, we will be raised in glory as if we fell asleep one moment and awoke the next. Yahuwah knows what he is doing. We just have to trust that He has our best interests at heart.

Chapter 103

11 We hoped to be the head and have become the tail:

We have toiled laboriously and had no satisfaction in our toil;

And we have become the food of the sinners and the unrighteous,

And they have laid their yoke heavily upon us.

12 They have had dominion over us that hated us and smote us;

And to those that hated us we have bowed our necks

But they pitied us not.

13 We desired to get away from them that we might escape and be at rest,

But found no place whereunto we should flee and be safe from them.

Every Believer desires to escape to some place of safety. Some do find actual physical places, others do not. Some at the very end will escape death, but for most of us, death is the most likely option. I say, “Expect the worst and hope for the best”. We must not fear death if that is our lot. Stay focused on the great glory that is awaiting us in our next waking moment. Does the caterpillar fear the cocoon? Does it fear becoming a butterfly or a moth? Stay focused, brethren, on the great glory that awaits us. The unbelievers may be able to hurt and torment us physically; but as long as we remain true to Yahuwah, they cannot hurt us spiritually.

14 And are complained to the rulers in our tribulation,

And cried out against those who devoured us,

But they did not attend to our cries

And would not hearken to our voice.

15 And they helped those who robbed us and devoured us and those who made us few; and they concealed their oppression, and they did not remove from us the yoke of those that devoured us and dispersed us and murdered us, and they concealed their murder, and remembered not that they had lifted up their hands against us.

The day will come when our tormentors will get their just reward. We will be watching on the Day of Judgement when they do. The unrighteous have so deceived the world that they have caused true Believers to be very few in numbers. They conceal their oppression with their laws. They brainwash the population from infancy, through the school systems and force churches that through ordination must conform to their laws and abandon the Law of Yahuwah. We must “man up” and remain true to Yahuwah, not the physical powers of this earth, no matter what the physical consequences.

Chapter 104

And now I know this mystery, that sinners will alter and pervert the words of righteousness in many ways, and will speak wicked words, and lie, and practice great deceits, and write books concerning 11 their words. But when they write down truthfully all my words in their languages, and do not change or minish ought from my words but write them all down truthfully -all that I first testified 12 concerning them. Then, I know another mystery, that books will be given to the righteous and the 13 wise to become a cause of joy and uprightness and much wisdom. And to them shall the books be given, and they shall believe in them and rejoice over them, and then shall all the righteous who have learnt therefrom all the paths of uprightness be recompensed.'

We cannot fathom the greatness of the reward that awaits us. It will be beyond our wildest imaginations. Do not fear it. Believe it, embrace it and long for it with every fiber of our being.

I have already addressed chapter 106 (the final chapter) of the Book of Enoch under the heading “Noah”.

Conclusion

Like I said in the beginning, I have never attempted a project like this one before. Before I started it, I thought it would only take me three weeks to complete, but it has taken quite a bit longer. I hope that everyone reading this have learned as much as I have from it.

The Torah and the Book of Jasher ran pretty much in parallel up to the Book of Yahushua (Joshua). There may have been some fables thrown in like the height of the tower of Babylon, etc., and I still cannot figure out why the Book of Jasher left out any mention of the fallen angels or their giant offspring, but otherwise they are quite similar.

The Book of Enoch is also known as the Book of Wisdom, which it most certainly is. Mostly it concentrates on the visions that Enoch had shown to him by various (righteous) angels. It gives much information on the fallen angels, their names and what exactly their sins were. It also gives us information on the conduct and sins of the giant offspring of the fallen angels. The only fishy sounding part is the height of the giants.

There was just too much information in the Book of Jasher to include the great exploits of the sons of Jacob to wade through so I will leave it to the reader to explore that part of Jasher. I highly recommend reading it.

The following are the websites I got the information from.

http://www.ccel.org/a/anonymous/jasher/1.htm

http://www.nazirene.org/Enoch_intro.htm

What I found the most interesting though, was all the information on the pre-incarnate Messiah and his role in relation to the goings on in the universe. I believe that this information firmly backs up the theory in my article, “Who Was/Is Yahushua”. In fact I added the information from Enoch as an appendix. It is quite apparent that Yahushua was hidden from the creation by coming in the Fathers name and fully representing the Father in all ways. The only verse in the Scriptures (OT) that positively mentions that Yahuwah even had a pre-incarnate son is Proverbs 30:4.

The most exciting part about studying the Way of Yahuwah is coming across information that is not commonly known or found in the traditional beliefs of any religion and exposes the errors in what is commonly believed. Over time with much study, it becomes apparent that most of their doctrine came to us through a satanic filter.

Mankind freely chose HaSatan as their “god” over Yahuwah. Every single thing in our society is fashioned after the Way of HaSatan. 99% of what we learn from birth is from the Way of HaSatan; therefore, it is one of our prime duties in coming out of Babylon (which literally means confusion or chaos) to research these beliefs with an open mind (ignoring the doctrines that we have been taught from birth) and let the evidence speak for itself. Yahuwah greatly desires to reveal all truth to those who diligently seek after it. He does not reveal all things to us at once, but rather “here a little, there a little” making this a life-long quest. There will be a lot more information forthcoming when we make it into the new creation. We will then be permanent members of the Elohim family and will need to learn ALL the secrets of the universe. Everything we are learning now seems to be on a need to know basis. The earth will become the official training ground for all future elohim. We will be also trained to create life and bring life to the entire universe. We will be self-existent, life creating beings, full of righteousness in which evil no longer has any place. We will be perfect, as Yahuwah is perfect in all righteousness. The world simply has no idea, nor does it believe in the great glory that awaits us, if we will only turn away from following HaSatan and learn the Way of Yahuwah.

I often compare in my writings revealing the deceptions of Satan to peeling all the different layers of an onion and discovering one deception after another. We will never discover these deceptions if we never attempt to seek them out. That is why I urge all Believers to not believe any man (including myself) but search and prove all things to themselves, just like the “noble” Berians did and who were held in high regard and highly praised for their efforts by Yahuwah and Yahushua. This is not simply a casual suggestion but a prime duty on the part of ALL Believers.

Most professing Believers that I have met are simply satisfied to go to church every Sabbath and simply believe all that they are told, pay and pray for the ministry and feel that their salvation is guaranteed. This is a grave deception, my brethren. Believe it not! It clearly states in the Scriptures that we are each are to “work out our own salvation with fear and trembling”. There is no such thing as a free ride into the Kingdom on the coattails of any other. We have to learn to stand on our own two feet before the Eternal Living Elohim and face Him like a man (or woman). We must not be like the ancient Israelites who refused personal access to the Father but, instead, preferred that Moshe become one with Elohim and then tell them what He said. We need to desire, first and foremost, to become one with the Father as our eldest brother Yahushua was. We will know when we are one with the Father when we have the power to perform all of the miracles that Yahushua did and our faces shine from the spirit of truth dwelling in us, filled to overflowing.

Read John 17 over and over again until the truth of what I am telling you sinks in. The overriding theme of Yahushua’s prayer was that ALL his followers become one with the Father as he was. This mostly takes belief and faith but knowledge of the truth is essential as well. As long as we believe in false doctrine we will be worshipping falsely. As long as we are worshipping in pagan inspired names, we are worshipping falsely. There is only ONE NAME under heaven by which we may be saved. We must prove to ourselves what that name is, be baptized (even re-baptized) in and worship in that name. We only have one shot at this and if we truly desire the great glory that Yahuwah has purposed for us, we need to get off our back sides and GET TO WORK.

Churches are like schools. They give us the milk of knowledge but afterward we are to hunger for the meat. I am sure that we all have learned a great deal more after we left school than we ever did in school. In the same manner I feel that I have learned a great deal more since leaving my former church and became a free agent. Yahushua did not NEED a church or temple for himself. He received his education directly from the Father. Neither do we need a church or temple. Yahushua opened the door of free and open access to the Father to each and every one of us. All we need is the courage, faith and confidence to walk through it and Yahuwah will teach us directly, just as He did with Yahushua.

Have faith, my brothers and sisters. Believe every word of Yahuwah. Believe in the glorious future that he has waiting for us. Live it, speak it, think it and meditate on it. Cast off all the falsehoods that man-made religions teach us and learn directly from the Master. Hold the glorious example of Yahushua before us at all times. Imagine ourselves as the Messiah, walking perfectly in his footsteps. Seek the EXACT same oneness with the Father as he had and do not be satisfied until you can walk on water, heal the sick with a simple touch, calm the storms and the seas and raise the dead. Tear down all the protective walls that living in this life have caused us to erect around our hearts and allow Yahuwah to fully indwell us and have faith and believe that ALL things are possible with Elohim.

May Yahuwah bless us all and cause His glorious light to shine upon us.
