The New Creation

John 3:1 - There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:

2 - The same came to Yahushua by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from Elohim: for no man can do these miracles that you do, except Elohim be with him.

3 - Yahushua answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of Elohim.

4 - Nicodemus said unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born?

5 - Yahushua answered, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of Elohim.

6 - That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

7 - Marvel not that I said unto thee, You must be born again.

8 - The wind blows where it lists, and you hear the sound thereof, but can not tell where it comes from, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

9 - Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?

10 - Yahushua answered and said unto him, Are you a master of Israel, and know not these things?

11 - Verily, verily, I say unto you, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and you receive not our witness.

12 - If I have told you earthly things, and you believe not, how shall you believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

13 - And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

14 - And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:

15 - That whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 - For Elohim so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 - For Elohim sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 - He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of Elohim.

19 - And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 - For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 - But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in Elohim.

There has been much confusion concerning the words of Yahushua in this exchange with Nicodemus. Many believe that we are born again the moment we are baptized. In a sense they are right, but true rebirth will not occur till after the resurrection from the grave; and it will not apply to everyone – just those who believe in and truly follow the true Mashiyack, not the worldly “Jesus”.

So, what is truly meant (according to divine revelation) by the term, “born again”? Again, we must listen to the words and observe the example of our only true teacher, Yahushua, as to what we have revealed to us from heaven.

John 20:17 - Yahushua said unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

John 20:24 - But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Yahushua came.

25 - The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

26 - And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Yahushua, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

27 - Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither your finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither your hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

According to Hebrew custom and Mosaic Law, if one touches a dead body, one is defiled for 7 days and must go through a cleansing process before being allowed into the temple to worship again. This law was at the root of Yahushua’s command to Mary not to touch him. He had not yet ascended to his Father and his Elohim to receive his reward. He was not, at that moment, reborn into the new Kingdom as a new creation. He appeared to the disciples later the same day and gave no such command to them. Eight days later, Yahushua clearly invited Thomas to touch his wounds. Clearly, Yahushua had ascended to his Father sometime between the time he saw Mary in the morning and the time (later the same day) when he came into the midst of the disciples. What occurred during that reunion? Yahushua underwent a metamorphosis. He was changed from the old creature to a new, previously non-existent, being. This is what he meant in the exchange between himself and Nicodemus. While baptism definitely shadows this metamorphosis, it in no way represents the true manifestation of a new creature. We are undoubtedly still human – the old creature. However, from that point on we are to begin “practicing” to be a new creature. That is, we are to be living lives of total, 100% obedience to the Father (just like our eldest brother, Yahushua) and learning to be incorruptible. Nothing that remains corruptible will EVER enter into the kingdom.

How can traditional Christianity; therefore, claim that the law is done away with and we do not have to obey the Father? How does one become incorruptible outside of the Law?

Again, we have to go back in time to the 4th century A.D. for the answer. That is when the Roman Emperor, Constantine (according to the Catholics) saw the flaming cross (of Tammuz) in the sky and converted to Christianity. However, historical record clearly shows that Constantine did no such thing. If one considers murdering one’s wife and son a Christian act, then we should have nothing to do with Christianity. And if converted, why would Constantine wait till he was on his deathbed to be baptized. More than likely, this is yet another Catholic fable and Constantine was already dead when they baptized him.

Constantine did not convert to Christianity; rather, he annexed all of the religions within his empire into one officially recognized, state religion – the Universal Church, or the Roman Catholic Church. Since the Christian faith as a whole honors Constantine in place of Yahuwah in regards to the law, Sabbath and annual set apart (or holy) days, they have in essence set up Constantine as the god they worship in place of Elohim. How can anyone achieve incorruption if they throw out the measuring tool used to judge who is incorruptible and who is not? It is such an exercise in futility and foolishness that it staggers the imagination that so many are so blind to it. Traditional Christianity not only throws out the resurrection but the judgement also. They preach the dead straight up to heaven and eternal life no matter what life-style they practiced – no resurrection, no judgement. How wonderful that would be if it were true.

Again, what was Yahushua example in this regard?

Matt. 5:17 - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

18 - For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 - Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 - For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

This passage is clearly presented simply enough for any but the mentally challenged to understand; yet, so many prefer the lies of HaSatan to the clear and precise words of our Creator and Saviour. Remember that Yahuwah’s goal is to save mankind and it is HaSatan’s to destroy all who are destined to usurp him – i.e. the human race. There is no chance of our becoming incorruptible if we do not bring ourselves under the perfect model that was made manifest for us in HaMashiyack. He was perfect in obedience to his Father and therefore was deemed incorruptible and qualified to become the firstborn of the new creation. Therefore, it only makes sense that we are to exhaust all efforts to become perfect in obedience to the Father, as was our eldest brother, before we can attain perfection in obedience/incorruption, and qualify to be reborn into the new creation as new creatures.

This is the rebirth that Yahushua was trying to explain to Nicodemus; yet he had great difficulty wrapping his mind around such a concept. Yahushua was amazed that Nicodemus, a Pharisee, had no concept of the theme that is central to all faiths, the formula to attaining eternal life, when it was the Pharisees who championed the belief in resurrection from the dead. This fact is brought out later in the trial of Shaul (Paul).

Verse 13 0f John 3 tells us, “And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.” This verse clearly negates the claim that Enoch ascended to heaven. That would have made him the firstborn of the new creation. Neither could Enoch have ascended in the flesh, for flesh is corruptible and nothing that is corruptible can exist with incorruption.

What does the common man, who believes in the resurrection, expect to become? Verse 6 of John 3 tells it all, “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” We have already been born of the flesh. We are awaiting our rebirth of the spirit. Yahuwah further declares that “Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of Elohim.” So, there we have it. We must first be born of water (baptism) and then born of the spirit. When does that spiritual birth occur? Our spiritual birth will occur at the same point in our lives as it did in Yahushua’s – when we are resurrected from the grave and judged incorruptible.

What is it then that we are to be doing between getting baptized and being resurrected as incorruptible spirit beings? The answer is simple. We are to be LEARNING TO BECOME INCORRUPTIBLE. We CANNOT do this apart from obedience to Yahuwah. All who believe they can attain this state apart from obedience are living in an alternate universe – one in which HaSatan rules – one that is about to be destroyed forever. These are the same ones that are declaring that they are already reborn – liberated from the Law of Yahuwah, free to do what they want.

Am I preaching salvation by works as opposed to salvation by grace? Absolutely not! The two go hand in hand. Yahuwah, in His great wisdom, knew that we would be incapable of attaining the same degree of perfection as Yahushua and, therefore; accounted his (Yahushua’s) perfection as ours, via his sacrifice. We honour his sacrifice by first believing that he is the only begotten son of Elohim and secondly, by emulating his perfect example in ourselves. Yahushua is our only true teacher and example. If we look to him alone as our measuring stick, we cannot go wrong. We will not find perfection in any charismatic church leader; or in any supposedly righteous church member. All of our righteousness is like filthy rags. We are to WORK OUT our own salvation with all fear and trembling. We are to stand before the Almighty Living Elohim on our own two feet, with all humility, separate from the world, having done our level best to allow Yahushua to live his perfect life through us. We must constantly remember that it is Yahushua living in us that leads us to perfection, not according to our works. At the same time we are to be found continually striving for that perfection.

So, what can we expect when we are finally born of the spirit through resurrection from the dead? We can expect to be like our eldest brother, the firstborn of all creation, the firstborn of the new creation. What does this magnificent spiritual creature look like?

Rev. 1:12 - And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

13 - And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the chest with a golden girdle.

14 - His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

15 - And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

16 - And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shining in its strength.

17 - And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead.

We were created in the image of Elohim to become elohim. The above is the picture of what we are going to look like. While we will still remain subordinate to the Father and the Lamb, we will possess the very same power of self-existent (eternal) life. We will; therefore, be sources of life just as they are; and will possess the power to create life on our own. Before we can achieve this status, we must prove ourselves incorruptible. We do that by bringing ourselves under obedience to EVERY word that proceeds from the mouth of our Creator. We have to recreate ourselves into the image of Yahushua. We must put no other images before us.

The “hope” of rebirth is akin to the “hope” of salvation. All we receive upon baptism is the hope of these two rewards. In the mean time we have to work to achieve them; and I am not speaking of only on the Sabbath. We need to live, eat and breathe it 24/7. Every minute that we draw a breath is a minute wasted in this all important race if we are not working with all earnestness towards the finish line. We need to drop everything else and do what is ever necessary to achieve the status of incorruptibility before our own, personal end of days comes. We will be made to stand alone before the Creator in the judgement with Yahushua on one side defending us and HaSatan on the other accusing us. Yahushua can only defend us if there is no truth in HaSatan’s accusations. Let there be no lie found in us.

I hope and pray that all Believers see the truth in this doctrine and put it to work in their lives. Please do not believe me only; but do search and prove all things like we are commanded.

Yahuwah Bless
