In 1917, there was a general revolt in Russian ending the Russian Empire and ushering in the U.S.S.R. under the Bolsheviks. The Bolsheviks saw all religious belief as a danger to the republic; likely because of political meddling by the former Catholic Orthodox Church. The site below exposes the types of political pressure (via public posters) the government was putting on the people, who for the most part did believe in a divine Creator.

The Soviet Union was established by the Bolsheviks in 1922, in place of the Russian Empire. At the time of the 1917 Revolution, the Russian Orthodox Church was deeply integrated into the autocratic state, enjoying official status. This was a significant factor that contributed to the Bolshevik attitude to religion and the steps they took to control it.[1] Thus the USSR became the first state to have as one objective of its official ideology the elimination of existing religion, and the prevention of future implanting of religious belief, with the goal of establishing state atheism (gosateizm).[2][3][4][5] Under the doctrine of state atheism in the Soviet Union, there was a "government-sponsored program of conversion to atheism" conducted by Communists.[6][7][8] The Communist regime targeted religions based on State interests, and while most organized religions were never outlawed, religious property was confiscated, believers were harassed, and religion was ridiculed while atheism was propagated in schools.[2] In 1925 the government founded the League of Militant Atheists to intensify the persecution.[9] Accordingly, personal expressions of religious faith were not in any way privately banned, but a strong sense of social stigma was imposed on them by the official government structures and secular mass media and it was generally considered unacceptable for members of certain government professions (teachers, state bureaucrats, soldiers) to be openly religious and anti-secular.
The vast majority of people in the Russian empire were, at the time of the revolution, religious believers, whereas the communists aimed to break the power of all religious institutions and eventually replace religious belief with atheism. "Science" was counterposed to "religious superstition" in the media and in academic writing. The main religions of pre-revolutionary Russia persisted throughout the entire Soviet period, but they were only tolerated within certain limits. Generally, this meant that believers were free to worship in private and in their respective religious buildings (churches, mosques, synagogues etc.), but public displays of religion outside of such designations were prohibited. In addition, religious institutions were not allowed to express their views in any type of mass media, and many religious buildings were demolished or used for other purposes. In the long run atheism failed to win many souls. Religion strengthened underground and was revived to help fight the Second World War. It flourished after the fall of Communism. As Paul Froese explains:
Atheists waged a 70-year war on religious belief in the Soviet Union. The Communist Party destroyed churches, mosques, and temples; it executed religious leaders; it flooded the schools and media with anti-religious propaganda; and it introduced a belief system called “scientific atheism,” complete with atheist rituals, proselytizers, and a promise of worldly salvation. But in the end, a majority of older Soviet citizens retained their religious beliefs and a crop of citizens too young to have experienced pre-Soviet times acquired religious beliefs.[10]
Christians belonged to various churches: Orthodox (which had the largest number of followers), Catholic, Baptist and various other Protestant denominations. The majority of the Muslims in the Soviet Union were Sunni, with the notable exception of Azerbaijan, which was majority Shia. Judaism also had many followers. Other religions, practiced by a small number of believers, included Buddhism and Shamanism.
I take objection to the following statement in this article, “Thus the USSR became the first state to have as one objective of its official ideology the elimination of existing religion, and the prevention of future implanting of religious belief, with the goal of establishing state atheism.” That is only if one does not consider that mostly all religions on Earth today worship a false god. Isn’t that pretty much the same as worshipping no god, since the gods they worship never did exist, nor do they now exist, nor will they ever exist in the future? In this respect every nation on earth is basically a godless nation. Even the Jews have replaced the Word of Yahuwah with their Talmud. By corrupting the Word of Elohim, they have turned their backs on the Creator Elohim, making their praises of no effect.
This statement is also quite the joke, “and religion was ridiculed while atheism was propagated in schools”, when one considers all the nonsense about evolution being taught in Western schools today. Evolution is just another brand of atheism.
This statement “but a strong sense of social stigma was imposed on them by the official government structures and secular mass media and it was generally considered unacceptable for members of certain government professions (teachers, state bureaucrats, soldiers) to be openly religious and anti-secular.” really reflects what is going on in the West today; and, with the New World Order (the UN) having a communist agenda, it is easy to understand why. In the US, at several sites where the 10 Commandments once stood, there now stands a stone with the seven Noahide Laws. Schools have banned prayers and even the mention of god. People in their work places are being forced to cover or get rid of any religious symbolism – such as crosses.
We are being prepped for the coming One World Religion. Where Russian styled communism failed, they plan to succeed. This One World Religion will worship one of the pagan gods of old, Molech. The global elite are already worshipping before a statue representing Molech already (once a year at Bohemian Grove, in California). Their practices included mock child sacrifices. Since Molech is a false god who does not nor ever did exist, they basically worship “no god”.
The world has been worshipping “no god” since the days of Adam and Eve. Since they rejected Yahuwah and chose HaSatan as the god they worship, they, too, worship “no god”. HaSatan is not a member of the Elohim family. Man was created in the image of Elohim. The same cannot be scripturally confirmed of angels. Many assume that they already have eternal life. Some also believe that we become angels when we die. However, this is just one more Christian lie. The condition for acquiring eternal life is that one must be incorruptible. Well, at least one third of the angels proved that they were, indeed, corruptible. Also, an eternal living being cannot ever die. Yet, the scriptures plainly depict the destruction of HaSatan.
There are two passages in scripture that best describe HaSatan and his destruction.
Ezek. 28:14 - You are the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set you so: you were upon the holy mountain of Elohim; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.
15 - You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, till iniquity was found in you.
16 - By the multitude of your merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of Elohim: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.
17 - Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.
18 - You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you.
19 - All they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: you shalt be a terror, and never shalt you be any more.
Isa. 14:12 - How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!
13 - For you have said in your heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Elohim: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 - I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 - Yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16 - They that see you shall narrowly look upon you, and consider you, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17 - That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
18 - All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, everyone in his own house.
19 - But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit; as a carcase trodden under feet.
20 - You shall not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed your land, and slain your people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
The parts I have highlighted from these two passages clearly indicate that HaSatan will be destroyed; therefore, he cannot possess eternal life, nor can he be an elohim. Just because the scriptures call HaSatan the god of this world, does not mean that Yahuwah appointed him to this office. It simply means that he elevated himself to that position and mankind helped feed his ego. Therefore, the whole world worships “no god”. None are any better than the Russians.
Unfortunately the Russian people get painted with the same brush as the government. Therefore, the world believes that all Russians are atheists. That is like saying that all Americans are Christians or Democrats.
Men were created to be free thinking individuals, not part of some “group think” organization. Governments can try to control our thinking, but it is really a futile endeavour. People are going to believe whatever they chose to – at least in their private thoughts. And is not our relationship with Yahuwah personal and private anyway?
The last statement from Wikipedia that I would like to draw your attention to, "Science" was counter posed to "religious superstition" in the media and in academic writing.” Well, I have a scientific news update for the writer; Scientists working with nano particles (particles smaller than an atom) have come to the conclusion that life is much too complicated to have exploded into existence by accident; there had to have been some sort of intelligent design – which, of course, demands the existence of an intelligent designer. Such nano particles could go on indefinitely producing smaller and smaller particles, particles inside particles and so on. It really is much too complicated to have been an accident.
Yet, until this revelation takes hold of all the scientific community, we can expect more of the same baloney being printed in the press and promoted in our academic institutions. Personally, I think it pretty funny that the scientists were so cocky, setting out to try and prove that there is “no god” and Elohim, instead, proved to them that there certainly is an Almighty Creator.
While in the WCG, one minister made a profound statement which I have never forgotten, “Whenever you point a finger at someone else, there are always three fingers pointing back at you.” Now, I know you are all trying it to see if it is so. Good! Don’t believe me – test and prove all things for yourself. As I believe this study has shown, this is especially true of Russia. The world needs a villain, and the Western nations have chosen Russia. As for myself, I would love to visit Russia and talk to the people there. I am sure I would make some very good friendships. I am also sure that we have some Believers there, although I don’t know who. It was originally my hope that my website would draw out Believers from around the globe; however, the only ones contacting me from other nations are scammers.
The situation has now changed in Russia and they are allowed to worship under whichever religion they wish (for the most part). So basically, they are still worshipping “no god”. Ironic, isn’t it? Man just can’t win.
Conclusion
Mankind rejected Elohim almost 6,000 years ago and has suffered the consequences ever since. Yet, of course, man never fails to curse god when anything goes wrong or bad. Science has tried it best to not only deny Elohim but, at the same time, are trying to replace Elohim with science. Scientists are working feverishly to extend human life and eventually believe they can grant us eternal life by physical means. I’m not a scientist but even I know that is nonsense. Man is also attempting to conquer the stars and create settlements on other Earth-like planets. Is that not Yahuwah’s plan? For someone they pretend not to believe in, they are certainly doing their level best to imitate Him.
All of humanity has the same enemy; and they are not the Russians. It is HaSatan! It is he that divides us and turns us against one another. Through various religions he has led the entire race to him in place of Yahuwah; and mankind has been only too happy to comply.
So, hopefully we will keep this info in mind the next time we are reading some derogatory article about Russia. Funny, the first article does not mention that this was all in Russia’s past. The Russian people are Yahuwah’s children, the same as us. Many entertain some form of religious belief. Some may even be True Believers. We just do not know what we do not know. And we certainly cannot take the mainstream media seriously. They are promoting everything from atheism, to abortion, to homosexuality and state-raised children.
Search and prove all things, folks. Black is white and white is black. Don’t believe anything until you prove if it is so or not.
