Ye are Elohim

Ye are Elohim

Ps. 82:6 - I have said, Ye are elohim; and all of you are children of the Most High.

If the world only believed this statement, it would be a far better place. However, if we reveal this fact to the average person on planet Earth, they would likely laugh you to scorn. They simply do not believe Elohim. And, of course, that is quite natural considering that most do not believe in the existence of Elohim at all. I used to be one, so I know all the arguments and challenges. If not for a friend challenging me to read the Bible, I would likely still be in that state and I really don’t know where my life would have taken me. Yahuwah does, indeed, work in mysterious ways. My conversion still remains a great mystery to me.

Of course, this fact is revealed to us in the very first few pages of Scripture.

Gen. 1: 26 - And Elohim said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.

27 - So Elohim created man in his own image, in the image of Elohim created he him; male and female created he them.

As the children we produce are created in our image (humans) so are we elohim because He created us in His image. It is really simple biology. If it were anything else, it would have stated that we were created in man’s image – like all of the other creatures.

Yahushua verified this fact when accused of blaspheme for claiming to be the Son of Elohim.

John 10:34 - Yahushua answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are elohim?

35 - If he called them elohim, unto whom the word of Elohim came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

36 - Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, You blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of Elohim?

SCRIPTURE CANNOT BE BROKEN! This is one statement we need to keep close to our chests. Every word of scripture is true and eternal. Of course, any lying Christian minister will tell you otherwise; but then, they have thrown out the entire Old Testament, except when it appears to support their lies.

The Jewish scribes thought they had Yahushua here on what they perceived a clear case of blaspheme. He was basically quoting Ps. 82:6 to them, which they could not deny. How could these supposedly “learned” individuals, who studied the scriptures regularly not have known this fact? Clearly they were guilty of interpreting scripture to their own benefit. We cannot do that, folks; it will always come back to haunt us. Scripture interprets scripture. I don’t know where this saying came from but it is certainly quite true, as I have proven with my scriptural studies. And, of course, the Christian scholars are even guiltier than the Jews when it comes to manipulating scripture.

Let us take a further look at other NT verses.

John 1:12 - But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of Elohim, even to them that believe on his name:

The mistake Adam made, and, of course, all of mankind after him, was to reject Yahuwah as their father and make HaSatan their elohim instead. Then they proceeded to make themselves over into the image of HaSatan. At baptism we correct this mistake and return to the original course and our original state of being as sons of Elohim. We have virtually been adopted back into His family again. And. of course, the key is believing Yahuwah – something that no earthly religion does.

The key to becoming a son of Elohim is believing upon His name. A person cannot believe upon His name if they don’t know what His name is. The most ancient form of the names is “Yahuwah” and “Yahushua”. All Christian names and titles are of pagan origin. Calling on any of those names will bring 0 response from Yahuwah. He desires that the whole world knows and reveres His glorious name. Calling on any other name is purely an exercise in futility.

Rom. 8:14 - For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, they are the sons of Elohim.

Yahuwah verifies our adoption when He places His spirit in us at baptism. We are no longer a son of man but a son of Elohim.

Rom. 8:19 - For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifestation of the sons of Elohim.

As I have stated may times, the whole universe is a living entity and is of yet, an incomplete creation. Its creation will not be complete until the sons of Elohim have been manifested. This process began with the resurrection of our Messiah. Everyone who believes in and is baptized into His name is now a son of Elohim. We are already living in the Kingdom of Elohim as His spirit is always with us.

Yes, Yahuwah’s plan has always been to bring life to the entire universe. With baptism, we became a part of that process. As sons of Elohim, we will be the instruments by which He brings about that life. We are in an endless mission to help complete the creation of Elohim. How glorious a calling is that?

Gal. 4:6 - And because you are sons, Elohim has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

Yahuwah recognized us as sons before He even sent His spirit upon us – most likely from the womb. He, alone, knows the end from the beginning. He recognizes those who seek after truth, no matter where it is to be found or what responsibilities it brings. There is definitely a lot of responsibility that comes with knowledge.

Phil. 2:15 - That you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of Elohim, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

Our responsibility as a son of Elohim is to be blameless, harmless and without rebuke. To be “without rebuke” is to be totally obedient to every word of Yahuwah. If we are without rebuke, we will also be blameless and harmless.

We were established to become lights to the world. To shine above the rest, we must mimic HaMashiyack in everything we think, do and say. The world will simply not believe us otherwise. And, why should they. If they see no difference between ourselves and any other religious “nut” out there, why would they? We were called to be different and to model Yahushua’s character before the world. If we do not stand out in such a manner, it might be time for some introspection.

Heb 12:7 - If you endure chastening, Elohim deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens not?

Today spanking a child in some Western nations can land a parent in jail. Because of that children in those nations are almost completely out of control and rebelling against parents.

No one likes being chastened; however, we cannot gage our spiritual condition without it. Yahuwah, like any parent, chastises His children so they grow up spiritually upright. If He failed to do so, what kind of parent would He be? And, what kind of children would we be?

1John 3:1 - Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of Elohim: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.

Everything that Yahuwah does is done out of love. And yet, the majority of mankind does not recognize that fact. They see Him as the mean old god from the Old Testament and that the much kinder, gentler Yahushua has “replaced” that old mean guy. Well, I have a news flash for them – they are one and the same. Yahushua was the Elohim of the OT acting completely on the Father’s behalf. The very first few verses of the Gospel of John verify that fact.

John 1:1 - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim.

2 - The same was in the beginning with Elohim.

3 - All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.

4 - In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Yahushua was both “with” Elohim and He “was” Elohim. How does one qualify that statement? The term elohim” does not apply to an individual but to a certain class of spiritual beings. The Father is the chief Elohim. His Only Begotten Son is second in command. Everyone else is of lesser rank but elohim nevertheless.

All things were made by the Son. Why? Because the Father could not approach any form of corruption without destroying it by His mere presence. Nothing that is corruptible can withstand His magnificent presence. Therefore, Yahuwah’s first act was to create a Son for himself, who, because he too was a part of the creation, could approach corruption without destroying it and could; therefore, interact directly with mankind. And, of course, He had perfected the Father’s ways so perfectly that everyone believed He was the Father.

In Him was life – eternal life, that is. And all who seek eternal life must first seek out Yahushua. He is the blueprint of the entire creation. He is the light of the world. No one can come to eternal life without going through Him.

1John 3:2 - Beloved, now are we the sons of Elohim, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

We are the sons of Yahuwah through adoption. Yahushua was the only one created directly by the Father. Of course, we are not yet full spirit beings, but once we are, we will dwell in the same dimension as the rest of the spiritual realm and will be able to see our fellow spirit beings clearly. They will no longer be invisible to us. We will see the Father and the Son as they are. And, we will be like them – not in rank or authority but in every other way.

Yes, Yahuwah has an awesome plan for mankind. However, there are certain conditions that must first be met. Belief in Yahuwah is the main one. Obedience follows belief. And action follows belief. The road to the Kingdom is indeed a narrow one. If we do not light the way, how is anyone to find it?

Conclusion

It is a very unique privilege to be called out as a son of Elohim. Many are called but few are chosen.

Matt. 20:16 - So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

Matt. 22:14 - For many are called, but few are chosen.

The calling has, indeed, gone out to the entire world, but only a precious few have been chosen. As for all the religions on Earth, none seek after Yahuwah. Some might pretend to, but if they are calling on the names of former pagan gods, it will not be Yahuwah who is listening. Nor will it be Yahuwah who they are listening to. We definitely want to be amongst the few that are chosen.

I am sure we all learned a lot from this festival season to take home with us and study upon further. Let us all make this subject one of those, study further and become a light to the world and a model of what a son of Elohim looks, thinks and acts like.

Yahuwah Bless
