Monday, October 5, 2020: Prepped for Fall

My pumpkins are growing rather nicely! I'm excited to harvest them either tomorrow or Wednesday. For some reason this picture isn't a good quality, so I won't share it here (remembering a similar problem happening with my City Folk blog... :P) It's fun seeing all the new seasonal Halloween/spooky items in the corner of the shop.

Sable was worried about making sure I will be prepared for the colder weather ahead! I bought a bunch of clothes from their shop, like this baseball uniform as another possible costume for Halloween - I suppose if not this year, I'll have it for a future year! I always loved wearing knit hats in the previous games too, so it's fun to see them here!

Sherb must have been inspired by listening to Sylvana yesterday, as he was singing for Merengue today. Maybe she was his test audience before he sings back to Sylvana. :P Phil, I suppose, was listening too!

Avery reminded me of the Fishing Tourney yesterday, and I gave Lyman a random cedar sapling I had in my inventory. The bulletin board said his birthday is on the 13th, so I'll have to remember that! (I think that's the same day Steve from Minecraft will be added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!)

I did some cleaning out of my inventory as well. I haven't been properly making money, but I get fossils I find and occasionally hit the money rock. I'll get my loan paid off someday!

Finally, here's a look at my yard so far! I'll continue to try and play even for a little bit every day to continue to get the Halloween and autumn items. I took out my jukebox and things in the corner, just for more room. I still have some summer things on the beach that can probably be put into storage sometime.
