Wednesday, June 2, 2021: Is Avery Okay?

Isabelle told me about the summer shells as I logged into the game this morning. I forgot about those! I know my sister wanted them for the summer-themed DIY recipes for her house last year.

I got a letter from Cyrus with the wedding cake he made for me. I also put down this statue thing I found in a gift in my inventory, not totally sure from where!

My message bottle gave me a recipe for a sign board that looked very similar to the board you could put a custom design on in the GameCube game.

(The picture to the right is from IGN, I believe their 2002 review of the original game! I remember reading that as a kid.)

On the left, you can see some of the bushes starting to bloom - it's just fun seeing all the different colors pop out in the summrtime. And finally for my daytime session... Is Avery okay? This is a bit of a sneak peek at one of my videos, but... He decided to take a nap sandwiched between two trees! I'm surprised he fit!

In the evening when I logged back in, I found Celeste! She gave me a recipe for a tree branch wand! Feeling a bit more like Harry Potter, I decided to make it and use it as my new wand. I'll take a better picture in daylight in a future post (if I remember!).

And finally, Label was here - I noticed her earlier but I was too focused on making my video. Seeing as I was playing tonight, I decided to do her challenge - she wanted something theatrical.

It took me a while to decide the direction to go, and I finally ended up with creating a fantasy knight outfit. Maybe it's "I Want To Be Your Canary" from Final Fantasy IX! (We're still slogging through this game!)

Label seemed quite friendly with me, more than usual. It was really nice! Maybe she'd been talking to Sable and Mabel and trading stories or something. Now I feel kind of bad ignoring her earlier!

I also took my new guard outfit and simulated the guards in A Link to the Past that can't go down stairs. As I was about to take the video, I got bit by a mosquito! Hey, no fair! Also, how did I get bit? I have all this armor on!

Anywho, see you next time! I'm looking forward to re-watching the incredible 2006 Animal Crossing movie (a fan-dub) with a couple of friends this weekend! It was only released in Japan as a Japanese anime and is super cute and authentic to the series (particularly Wild World, as it was released a year after that entry).
