Monday, November 2, 2020: Failed Fishing Mission

It was raining in town this afternoon when I logged in, and decided I'd make a wand outfit for my rainy-day clothes. Of course, I won't need it for a few months with the snow comes, but I may as well make it.

Phil must really enjoy this wet, rainy breeze.

I picked up a couple new mushroom types as well (definitely the flat mushroom). I haven't been actively looking, but I'll keep gathering them every day I play!

I noticed the Nooklings didn't have any seasonal items in the corner of the store at the moment.

Heading around the back of the island, I saw Jolly Redd's ship while heading up to grab a fossil. I headed in to get the detailed painting, which had the Japanese signature of Ajisai Sōkeizu on it (the fake does not). I also picked up this diner clock right next to it, because... why not? It looked intriguing!

I bought a silk hat from Sylvana because she needed money to get the next volume in a series she's reading. I've started doing some reading myself in real life before bed, so of course she should get her new book!

Clay asked me for the rare villager task (at least that I've seen in this game): catch him a crucian carp! Shouldn't be too hard, right...? It's a common fish! I mean, I tried a little, but I kept getting yellow perch and a cherry salmon. Fauna didn't understand my pain!

Sadly, I had to give up on the hunt for the fish, so... sorry Clay!
