Sunday, March 21, 2021: Blank Slate Again

Luna gave me a Dream Ticket as a gift for updating my dream. I'm pretty sure these are things I can sell? I can't remember what I did with the last one(s) I got.

Today's plan was to start the cleanup process from the party! I'm ready to have an island I can easily navigate without using my ladder every five seconds. Bam was not happy to be falling in all the pitfalls! I quickly scooped up all the extras to save for later. I haven't really messed with villagers with pitfall seeds in New Horizons yet, so it was kind of funny! Poor Bam - he's still new here!

I also walked in on this conversation a bit later with Bam trying to train Diana to be like a drill sergeant. Lotsa spiky text boxes today. :)

It was a bit strange to see Daisy Mae on my obstacle course - it's always been blocked off so it would be clear of traffic, but since I opened it up last night now villagers can make their way up. I've heard they can use warp pipes as well, and I even spotted Cookie (last night?) collecting some of my coins! Apparently if you connect a pipe into your house they can show up unannounced! Hey, that's one way to bring back villagers barging in on you, like during Wild World's Flea Markets!

I also decided to keep some of these coins in place, at least for now. Why not?

Speaking of Cookie, she wanted to help me with my outfit. At least my Mario outfit is all set! I'll probably soon return to my normal Animal Crossing outfits, though...

Tonight, while I was making some real headway destroying everything, I got Wisp trapped on a couple of raised-up blocks!

Because I already had a ramp for the obstacle course, I decided to make use of it and keep it there, leading to a raised-up section of the island on the upper half. This could turn into a fancy Funland of sorts, like Stampy's Funland in Minecraft! I could have a permanent sumo ring and other permanent mini-games for us all to play, such as over the summer or whenever people visit my island! I could have a stash of extra pitfalls there as well, like in Minecraft when you keep extra items used for a mini-game in a chest. This will certainly be a longer-term project though, and I'll take my time working on it as I have no deadline. But it's nice to have just an empty field of grass, not that dissimilar to a year ago when I first arrived at this island!

As always, I'll be back at some point! We'll see what happens - knowing me I will probably post tomorrow; though no promises! Feel free to watch back my livestream party from yesterday on the channel or go visit my Dream Address in the video description (see the last post or my channel) to run through the course, while it lasts! Once I do finish my Funland at least (or whatever this ends up being, just an idea for now!), I'll probably update it, so most likely by/during summer!
