Friday, September 6, 2013: Afternoon in the Sun (and Rain)

I headed over to the island to collect fruit to sell at Re-Tail. Whereas it was raining in town, it was happy and sunny at the island!

I did a Fall Bug Tour before I left, where I had five minutes to catch crickets and grasshoppers. (The mini-games was another feature of New Leaf I was looking forward to from City Folk.) I caught 13!

After selling all my fruit at Re-Tail, I saw a message on the way to Main Street saying it was Cesar's birthday, which I had totally forgotten about. So, like the prepared person I am, I headed on to Main Street to quickly buy and wrap a present. I also got some stuff for myself with Play Coins - namely, pants for my Link outfit, as well as the Master Sword.

I found a shirt at Ables (which is still being built around) which I quickly wrapped and headed over to Cesar's house. He seemed relatively happy about my gift.

Winnie seemed to think I was a pro listener. Seeing as my character doesn't really talk much, I can't really see how that's a compliment...

Well, anyways, here's the Master Sword. You'll get to see me in full Link get-up once I have all the pieces. Probably I'll dress up as him for Halloween, my first for the game! (Well, it'll be my first everything for the game, which is exciting, cos on my City Folk blog I had already done everything three or four times around.)
